Description of Work: I was very surprised and pleased with Keith Roofing. They did a great job and very reasonable price. The company has some decades experience working on DC homes. I had other companies try and fix the problem with no luck. Keith fixed it the first time, no problems!

Description of Work: Patched roof, replaced skylight, repaired flashing. The one complaint we have is that we tried to get them back for additional work but they never returned our calls. We found it better to deal with the younger Mr. Keith, the son. When we spoke to the dad, he didn't seem to get that we were a repeat customer.

Description of Work: Mr. Keith did not provide services, however, he came at short notice to provide estimate, was timely, and also indicated that that his company did not have the necessary expertise for the issue with our roof. I appreciated his professionalism and honesty regarding the issues identified and his willingness to explain the issues and recommend some other options. Kudos for being direct, prompt, and straightforward.

Description of Work: Hurricane Sandy related roof repair. Keith and Company were punctual for both the estimate, and the roof repair which was scheduled quicker than I anticipated / hoped it might be. The quality of the work was excellent with great attention to detail and cleanup afterward. We particularly appreciated the photos provided, showing the exact work needed, and documenting the completion of the work, saving a climb to the roof! I would recommend this company to others and definitely would use again if needed.

Description of Work: I scheduled a free estimate with Mr. Keith. He arrived on time, made the inspection, took pictures, gave me the pictures and provided the estimate (including the Angie's list discount) in about 45 minutes. I got 2 other estimates from Angie's list contractors. Keith Roofing was the least expensive for basically the same work. The work crew arrived early (8:00 instead of 8:30 am). Mr. Keith arrived on time (at 8:30). They went to work right away. I was provided pictures throughout the process. The Keith's even replaced a piece of rotted wood decking at no extra charge. They covered my roof (including the roof access cover) with Firestone 170 App modified Bitumen rubber in 6-1/2 hours. When they left, there was no evidence of them being here. All trash, debris, etc. was gone. There was nothing new in my trash can either. They took everything with them. They called to let me know they were done and said they'd be back to follow up soon. It rained that night. No leaks. Great job! They provided lots of pictures from before, during, and after the repair. My only negative comment would be that they asked for the entire payment when they arrived. Normally, I would not have done that, but I felt comfortable with them and I have no regrets. Based on my experience...I'd recommend this company to family and friends.

Description of Work: I had an entire row house flat roof and skylight replaced. Keith was quick, reasonably priced, efficient and extremely professional. Everyone with whom I worked was extremely knowledgable. The whole roof took them less than a day to do and looks fantastic. We had a huge rain storm the day after the job was completed, and my house was finally free of leaks. Had I know that getting this job done was as quick and painless as Keith made it. I can't recommend them more!

Description of Work: We have a 130 year old house with several different types of roofs. We had one roof that had been repaired several times and had several roofers come out to look at the problem. One said the roof would last a lifetime with care -- did the care -- and wouldn't return calls when we started having problems. Another said the roof had no problems, although we could see the leaks. Keith roofing was the first to come out, take photos, show us all the areas where we had problems, and fix them. The owner is reachable by phone, he comes to the house, he follows up. His guys were professional. They came when they said they would and went over and above to help us when we had an A/C problem related to the roof. The prices they charged were in line with other estimates we'd had over the years. They are the most responsive roofers I've met and did an excellent job.

Description of Work: They were efficient and quick, and of the various roofers I spoke to they were the ones who obviously knew the roofing business. I couldn't believe how quickly they got the job done and how knowledgeable they were. I definitely felt the price was within a reasonable range and Mr Keith, Sr, is a wonderful person to work with.

Description of Work: Keith Roofing did a big job for me about a year and a half ago and I have had no problems since then. A couple of weeks ago I had a pinhole water leak appear in a different area of the roof from where I had previous repairs. I called Keith Roofing and they responded and checked out the roof leak within 48 hours. After further inspection, they thought they isolated the area of the leak and determined that they thought they could fix the leak with some sealant. They did so right away - and given my past business with them - they did not charge me. This was all done within a single day from initial inspection to the fix. I still have to see if this fix will prevent further leakage in our next big rain - but I am hopeful that their analysis and fix will solve the problem. If not, Mr. Keith promised to return immediately to further address the problem.

Description of Work: Just after our first bad snowstorm in Feb. the whole front gutter and board it was attached to crashed to the ground due to ice and snow hitting it from the roof. I called Keith roofing who had replaced that gutter last Nov. However, the board it was attached too had rotted and when snow came down it just crashed. Keith roofers came out next day to assess the damage and next day gave an estimate of costs to repair. Then they came out with supplies and fixed this within 3 days of it happening! We can always count on the m to get here quickly and get things fixed promptly. Wonderful. Hard to find. They are not inexpensive by any means but well worth it. Insurance paid $2,000 of these costs thank goodness.

Description of Work: This was a repair job involving several parts. The company came out and sent a team in just a few hours. They completed the work inabout 4 hours. The people from Keith were great but the cost seems very substantial, although I agreed to it because of the urgency of the problem.
