She gave us a comprehensive report that listed all of her findings and recommendations. She walked us through the report to ensure that we understood the issues. Excellent service well worth the money spent.

They came on time and were very careful in setting up the test. Pascale was very thorough in her explanations of the problems she saw. She produced a detailed report with all the recommendation for improvements. She also compared our energy use with area's average. They went through all portions of the house, tested the possible CO issues and made recommendations. They placed sensors on flues etc to see if there were any potential leaks. Blower test was performed to find the air movement through house. Very thorough analysis of the house. Very satisfied.

There was a small mishap (an accident that could have happened to anyone), and they went out of their way to make things right. We got everything we wanted from them. We would be happy to use them again, and recommend them highly. Of the $400 price we got $300 back from Pepco. Everyone should do this, as you can save a lot of money, and it's good for the planet!

Was a great experience. Pascal is very knowledgable and very professional. She came in and moved quickly through her process, exploring our attic and the entirety of the living space (under sinks, in closets...). She took pictures of noted issues and explained opportunities for energy reduction as a result of leaks or poor design. She and her co-worker also completed a furnace combustion test, a blower fan pressurization test (no idea if this is what it is really called) to assist in the identification of leaks and answered questions about our windows and doors towards helping identify where we would get the most bang for our buck. She also explained where our energy usage fell compared to a square footage target - which is a great way to allow you to see whether your home is an energy hog or not. Pascal then presented us with a written report capturing all of this at the end of the audit. Money well spent if you are considering what would be the most effective and efficient way to decrease your energy usage. In sum I will recommend Pascal and her team to my friends - she is a woman on a mission!

Another Angie's List special deal. Owner of company and one assistant conducted the audit. She analyzed energy utility bills, and took the information provided to her by her assistant (who conducted all of the actual testing), as well as explaining just what kinds of tests were being performed, and what the results would mean. Extremely detailed report was provided shortly after the audit was completed. I had all of the work done that was suggested in the audit, and then had the company return for a close-out test, which showed that the efficiency of my house's energy usage was significantly increased. Very well pleased with the outcome.

Pascale provided an extremely thorough energy audit of our 120 year old farmhouse. She and her fabulous assistant David worked their way through every corner and crevice, examining the basement and attic at length and performing the all-important blower door test to find the leaks. After gathering all of the data, she sat with us and reviewed all of the results and photos and discussed the top priorities for making our home energy efficient. It went very well. We had a full audit. The auditor spent almost an entire day at our home testing the basement, crawlspace, and attic. We were given a full recommendation of ways to improve our homes energy efficiency and even contractors to do the work. After the tightening of the house was completed, the auditor came back to compare the before and after. We were even involved in the testing process by being able to use things like a heat sensor in various locations. Our house is definitely less drafty now. And because of the improvements we made, we're eligible for rebates and energy credits. We got about 65% of the expenses back from what we spent on improvements. We probably would not have chosen to have the audit had it not been for this deal.

The team did an amazing job of assessing the energy efficiency (or lack) of my house, a combo of a 100-year-old farmhouse and several later additions. The thoroughness of their survey and the detail of their recommendations were most impressive. A report was given to me within an hour of completion. Pascale showed up right on time. Courteous and professional. She goes through utility bills while colleague pressurized house to check for leaks. Takes about 2-2.5 hours. Gives you a nice PDF report in the end prioritizing which work you should get done.

The audit went very well overall. They were punctual and professional. They took time to explain all their findings and recommendations in detail. They seem to care about their work and it shows. They replaced 12 light bulbs in my home with compact fluorescents. I appreciate the information I received from the audit and plan to better insulate my 56 year old home as a result.

The audit, itself, went very well and seemed to be very thorough. The report was complete and made many recommendations for increased energy efficiency, quite a few of which we acted on. The only problem was that I was originally told that a follow-up "test-out" was included in the price, which was an Angie's List Big Deal and was subsidized by the power company (Pepco). The test-out is to verify that you have had some efficiency improvements done (and done right) and to submit paperwork to the State to support rebates. However, when I asked for them to come and do that service, I was told that it would cost an extra $100, "because of all the paperwork required." I was so turned off by their request for more money that I dropped the whole thing. Maybe, if I had pushed, they would have honored the original agreement. I just don't want to do business with people like that. The rebates were not enough money to justify the hassle.

I have been having major heat issues in the upstairs of my townhouse and was at a loss on how to deal with it and who to call (an HVAC issue?, need an attic fan?, something else?) to address the situation. Came across energy auditors on Angie's List and also learned of the PEPCO program that allows me to receive an energy audit with PEPCO picking up 75% of the cost. I decided to go with EEE because this is where I learned of the PEPCO program, the good reviews on Angie's List, and the professionalism of EEE. I was able to get EEE out to do my energy audit the very next day. They came on time and did a thorough inspection of my house and quickly found the main issue - shoddy insulation work when the house was built. They showed me all the problem areas in the house, made recommendations - a lot of them are DIY, and wrote it all up in a concise report with pictures and FLIR images. Finally, they recommended some contractors and to use Angie's List, while also informing me, and offering to help apply for at no charge - of available State and Federal Tax Credits for energy efficiency improvement projects. One minor issue I noticed after the fact is EEE's coupon on Angie's List for 5% off, which was not offered to me. Update: EEE conducted the follow-up audit ($100) after I addressed all the attic issues. Blower tests showed a 30% decrease in airflow in my house (went from the above the good range to in the good range) and that heat leakage through my walls, ceiling, and top plates and significantly decreased. EEE also filed my rebate application with PEPCO quickly and I received a check in the mail for 50% of my instulation costs from PEPCO a few weeks later. I have also continued to DIY some of the other small issues identified. Above all, the Energy Audit correctly identified my attic issues that were causing my second floor to overheat and after addressing all the issues, my second floor is very comfortable to be on in the summer. The temperature difference between floors is significantly reduced and I literally get to use 1/3rd of my home again!

My contractor suggested that I get an energy efficiency audit and recommended this firm. I trust his professional judgment and agreed to the audit. Energy Efficiency Experts came to my home as scheduled,explained what they were going to do and went to work. They reviewed their findings with me in detail, made recommendationsand are sending a report. These people seem to know in great detail how to make a home energy efficient. They arepolite, professional and I would highly recommend them.

The work went very well. The inspectors answered our phone calls promptly, explained the process in detail, answered our questions, scheduled the inspection, appeared as scheduled, provided all the necessary equipment, worked steadily and efficiently, and briefed us on their results and recommendations before departing. They subsequently provided three detailed written reports (including a verification report to PEPCO, which partially paid for the audit process and will also provide a significant rebate on the actual cost of the work performed by the weatherization contractor). The inspection(s) were handled smoothly and very professionally.It was a pleasure to work with EEE. I would recommend them and their work without hesitation to anyone inerested in improving their home's energy effiecincy.

I thought the pricing was reasonable. Fortunately, my house is in a fairly good energy efficiency state. If I needed the same service, I would use them again. Once they have done an energy audit, you basically have to follow their recommendations.
