The experience was very positive. Pascale is a total professional and incredibly knowledgeable regarding the energy efficiency of a home. She was on time, very thorough in her analysis, and delivered a complete report within 24 hours of her visit. We agreed with almost every suggestion she made to improve the efficiency of our home. She took time following the physical inspection to explain in detail her findings and steps we should take. We would definitely hire again and would highly recommend her to others.

Pascale was very thorough and inspected the house from top to bottom. She also reviewed a year's worth of data from our electric and gas bills in order to compare our usage to others, and made recommendations for how to prioritize the implementation of her recommendations to maximize efficiency and comfort. She gave us great ideas for how to do some of the recommendations ourselves.

Pascal offered a well-organized and detailed report. Her verbal explanations and written report will help us to substantially improve our energy efficiency, lower our bills and reduce our carbon footprint. We hired a contracter (DRO Enterprises) to perform airsealing and insulation work on our home, as per the recommendations of her Pascal's audit report. Ever since, our air conditioning unit needs to cycle on less often and the house feels more comfortable overall in the summer heat. She came back a couple of days later to do a report on the insulation/airsealing work. It was very easy to schedule her visit, as before, and everything went very smoothly.

Pascale arrived right on time and went straight to work. First she did a visual inspection of the house from top to bottom, inside and outside looking for places conditioned air could escape. She then did a pressure test and went thru the house again checking for air leaks and taking digital photos of the problems she found. When finished she compiled a detailed report of her findings, this included the photos and the work needed to correct them. She provided resources for materials needed to do the jobs we could do ourselves, and gave us references of insulation companies she has found to do quality work. I looked into having an audit done by others, but didn't want someone who would only be interested it trying to sell their company products. I would hlighly recommend Energy Efficiency Experts to anyone who is interested in reducing their utility bills.

Pascale arrived and got right to work by setting up the fan for a pressure test and she asked for our utility bills for the past year. As the pressure test was going on, she went to various points around the house to check for airflow (leaks) coming from light fixtures, gaps around pipes and windows, etc. As she checked for air leaks, my husband and I followed her around. As she worked she made recommendations for how to fix problems and save energy. Pascale also took photos with a digital camera and with an infrared camera. She used a laptop to prepare the audit report while she was on site. She allowed me to save the report (a Word document) on my jump drive so we could print it right away. The report was an 8-page report which we considered to be thorough. She included digital and infrared photos of the problem areas in our home and she provided recommendations of how to resolve the problems to increase energy efficiency. The report included graphs of our gas and electricity usage throughout the period covered by our energy bills. These graphs contrasted our energy usage against high-efficiency and low-efficiency benchmarks so we know right where we stand. We were very pleased with the outcome and the quality of the report. This audit went extremely well from start to finish. She was easy to contact and scheduling with her was easy, too. She was quite knowledgeable and was very willing to answer our questions. We learned a lot (and we have done our own research so we thought we knew a lot already).

She was on-time and organized. The process took about 3 hours, as planned, and she delivered a report as an electronic file before leaving. Although there is room for improvement in our insulation, the tests did not explain our high heating bills. Testing on a cold day might have shown more.

I got a return call from Pascale the day after I left a message indicating that I was interested in the service. She arrived on time and thoroughly explained exactly what it was that she would be doing. She asked for copies of electric and gas bills in order to plug actual data in her computer so that the calculations would be specific to my house. Pascale performed a calibrated blower door test to determine where air leaks were occurring. She examined doors and windows and checked areas outside of the house. She also used infrared technology to capture digital pictures of any problem areas. When Pascale was finished, she sat down and showed me the information that she compiled and talked to me about what she saw as the areas that needed attention. She also pointed out things that I could do myself vs. hiring a contractor for. Pascale indicated which areas would help gain the most in terms of lowering my costs. One area that she pointed out was in the garage where there was a gap that could be allowing carbon monoxide into the house, which I was grateful that she showed me. I had no idea that there was a MD energy program teamed with PEPCO that provides rebates for having an energy audit performed and correcting issues from the report. I had underestimated the square footage of my house which made a difference in the price range. Pascale offered to lower the price to split the difference; however, I told her that since it was my mistake there was no need for her to bear any cost for that. It is very obvious that Pascale is passionate about her work and truly cares about helping people. The day after the energy audit was performed, I had a very comprehensive report detailing her findings along with suggestions on what needed to be done to fix each problem. I was very satisfied with the information that I received and would highly recommend Energy Efficiency Experts to anyone who needs a home energy audit conducted.

My home was built in 1976 and still has the original siding and windows. While my electricity costs aren't outrageous, I have a feeling that electricity will become much more expensive over the next several years so I called Pascale to help me prioritize improvements. When Pascale arrived, she explained a bit about the process and then set up the fan in the doorway. She measured where air leaks were happening next to each door, window, crack and crevice in the house and provided me with a detailed, prioritized report with pictures and instruction on how and where I could make improvements to get the biggest bang for my buck the same day before leaving. To my surprise, the improvements that would give me the greatest return would be insulation in the attic ($1500) and a new refrigerator ($500-$1000). She said that according to the blow test, the windows and siding wouldn't do much for me and gave me some detailed directions on how I could refurbish my own windows for very little money so that it would stop the minimal air leakage that's happening in essence saving me $7-$10K. Pascale was very professional, passionate about her work, and a delight to work with and I would definitely hire her again!

The amount quoted over the phone was what was charged and I received a very detailed report with what I need to do to improve the efficiency of my home. I purchased my home 1.5 years ago, and wanted to get an energy audit to assist in prioritizing renovation projects on my home. ENERGY EFFICIENCY EXPERTS did a wonderful job in providing an energy audit. I wasn't sure what to expect, but they really impressed me with what went into the audit and how much work is involved. Pascale showed up promptly and spent 4.5 hours in my house going over every aspect of my homes insulation and energy usage. She spent time explaining items to me and reviewed her findings. She is incredibly knowledgeable and willing to share her expertise. Two days after the audit I received a very detailed written report that provided a comprehensive strategy for cost effective ways to make my house more efficient. I have already referred ENERGY EFFICIENCY EXPERTS to a couple of colleagues.

Pascale is a true professional, and a tremendous resource. She went way beyond my expectations, and guided my family down a path which resulted in tremendous improvements to our whole house efficiency. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

She basically did all the points and pointed out a number of small things that I could do and that we would have to hire professionals to do and things that were unnecessary even though some people said it would definitely improve the energy efficiency. She was very credible. She only does audits so she was very methodical in how she does the audit and explaining it in a way that's understandable.

Pascale, the owner of the company, came 45 minutes early and spent more than 3-1/2 hours going over the house from top to bottom. She answered my many questions and made many excellent suggestions. Pascale was very efficient and understood the energy problems of my house better than I did. Her report gives me comprehensive guidelines for making my house energy-efficient. I think Pascale's fee is perfectly reasonable considering her expertise and the amount of time, effort and thought she puts into her work. I would certainly use her again and would highly recommend her.

I was having problems with my electric bill so decided to have the house audit. She figured out the problem was with the heat pump compressor and asked if I wanted to continue the audit or leave it at that. She was knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely use them again.

I was happy with the overall experience. Pascale is a professional energy auditor. Many of the recommendations were boiler-plate for like-afflicted homes. Some were precisely tailored for my results.

We called Pascale to do an energy audit of our house because the rooms at the ends of the house were a significant difference in temperature from the rooms in the center of the house. She spent several hours doing tests and examining our house from top to bottom and inside and outside. She gave us lots of recommendations to improve the energy efficiency of our house including telling us what we should prioritize. We were emailed a report with all her findings and are very satisfied with her services.

She began by reviewing a year of energy bills with me and gave me a comparison to other homes. I can't say that the information was shocking, but it set the stage perfectly for all of the rest of the work she would do and the explanations she would give. After that, she set up the door frame to evaluate the house for leaks. She was thorough, to say the least, taking hours for the two floors plus basement of my row house. We spent time looking at windows, doors, moulding, lights, heat ducts . . . everywhere. At each step she explained what my house had, what was good and what needed to be addressed. She also prioritized jobs, explaining which would lead to the biggest gains in efficiency for the house. As an example of her thoroughness, she crawled inside the crawlspace under my kitchen and inspected the insulation job a contractor had recently performed. As a sleep-deprived new father, she was gracious when my questions didn't make sense. She offered references for companies that could complete the work if I don't feel qualified doing it. For this last point, she made it clear that her company does not do the work because it would be a conflict of interest. You are paying her to tell you about your house and she comes through. You don't have to worry about her padding the audit to drum up more revenue for herself. I sincerely believe her integrity to be beyond reproach. At first, I was a bit concerned about the price--$400. After the fact, I feel like it was money very well spent.

Pascale performed an excellent energy audit of my home. I have lived here only 8 months and knew my utility bills were too high and the house too cold. It's an older home (1938) that has been remodeled, and she found lots of leaks and gaps in the insulation that are causing energy loss. She did her work quickly and professionally but was also friendly and available to answer questions. I like that she is not part of a huge company and that she clearly cares personally about saving energy. All in all, an excellent experience.

I had a small window of availability yet she made it work and came straight away. She was really super - I learned a lot from her audit and was glad I was home when she was conducting it. I would 100% suggest using her. We are remodling our home so that delayed following up on her suggestions, but it helped us in specifying with the contractors exactly what type of upgrades were necessary.
