It was fine. We ended up renting a property. We signed our lease two weeks ago. They are pretty professional and they have a lot of amenities that we like. We would tell others to definitely look into it because it is a good rental property.

Dealing with Continental Properties was a pleasure from the beginning, when I first contacted them for help in identifing suitable homes, to the end, when we closed on a property. Our Broker and Agent were both consummate professionals and consistently pleasant to deal with. They knew the DC, Virginia, and Maryland markets in great detail, suggesting propeties in some great neighborhoods we would otherwise never have considered. My wife and I were both traveling separately (including outside of the US) for most of the process. We visited only twice, to look at properties and to close. This made things more difficult for our agent, but he made special efforts to communicate frequently with both of us by phone and email and he made sure we were always fully informed about the process. He put a lot of time and effort into ensuring that we both had copies of all relevant documents and made sure we had both signed everything that was appropriate. We sent a friend to represent us during the home inspection and our agent worked closely with him as well. During the negotiating process they took a lot of time to discuss possible strategies. They gave always gave us good advice and options, but made clear that thefinal choices would be ours. We felt very comfortable through the whole transaction. Even the Seller's Agent made it a point on several occasions to tell me how great it was to work with Continental Properties. Continental is very much a full service agency. Whenever I had a question or a special need, they were quick to respond. The next time I buy or sell a property in the Washington DC area, I will go back to Continental without hesitation.
