Update: As promised, the provider followed up and completed the brickwork on 11/29/14. The workers did an excellent job of removing, repositioning, and re-grouting the brick. Mr. Rodolf was professional and very responsive in following through on completing the job. The company also completed some drywall repair work and bathroom floor grouting and did an excellent job in those areas as well. I highly recommend Bonn America Group, Inc. and will certainly contact them for future jobs. The provider was unable to complete the job of repositioning and re-grouting the brick due to low outdoor temperature; however, the provider has committed to rescheduling to complete the job at no additional cost as soon as the temperature reaches at least 52 degrees.

The communication with company was great. They came on time, did a great job and I'm very happy with the work. They were willing to take on a smaller job which was great and squeezed me into their busy schedule. I would used them again.

Very well. They were prompt and courteous. They protected all areas where they were working from any damage. Job took less time then specified. Everything was cleaned up after the job was completed. Very happy with the work.

I had a hard time getting in touch with the contractor. I have to get the work done by a deadline, since I have other work scheduled after that. I asked them to call me ASAP, but they didn’t. I got an email I saw this morning, asking what time they should come. But since I hadn't heard from them before that, I'd made other plans. I spoke with them on the phone just now, and the gentleman was nice, but they aren't able to make my deadline, so I'm getting a refund. I wish they'd called me when I'd asked.

Very impressed with the two young men sent to me. Luis took charge and they both did an outstanding job. Rodolf was only contractor to recommend power washing the 40 year old wall before doing the work, which they did. Neat, excellent work and cleanup. Quality work!

We purchased a Big Deal from AL, and the provider contacted us almost immediately. Since we had to go out of town, we had to cancel initially, however, they came by a few weeks later to determine how much work needed to be done. I explained that we needed to have the work done right away because of an important event the next week. They came early only 2 days later and completed the job. They taped the entire bathroom as drywall had already been installed. They then mudded and sanded the joints (including inside corners and around tub and vanity) at least 2 times using the quick mud and finishing with the longer drying joint compound. The job was very professional, and we were very pleased with the outcome.

Had trouble contacting them originally. I finally got them out and they gave me an estimate. We set up an appointment to do the work but they had to cancel.

Roldolf was very responsive at first and then got held up with other projects. He worked with me to find a solution within my budget and set reasonable expectations. (For example, I know that my resurfacing may crack in the winter, because I chose to patch my steps rather than the much more expensive approach of completely demolishing them). It took a while to get him locked down for a start date because he and his team are so popular and for good reason! He always communicated with me to let me know where his schedule was at and when we did sign a contract, he was very prompt in getting the work started and completed. His crew was very well informed as well. They work hard and completed the job quickly and beautifully. I love my new concrete steps! I will now be using Rodolf for a fencing project. I'll update this post in the winter, and let you know if the concrete job withstood the elements.

Bonn was one of three contractors on Angie's List that I solicited for bids. I selected Bonn because of their responsive to providing an estimate and Rudolf's, the owner's, nice demeanor. In the beginning, Rudolf was on site every day with the crew, which was reassuring. I provided the crew with bottle waters, sodas, and snacks nearly everyday due to the hot temperatures. Bonn did a good job with installing the privacy fence. My only criticism with the fence is that I had to give too much direction on how to install the fence gate and I had to request a gate handle. And, the deck staining was good. However, I failed to select a good color so I will have to hire another contractor to restain the deck. The problem is with the quality of the concrete work. In the course of replacing the front porch steps, one of the crew left his hand print in the concrete, which was visible as the concrete dried. Also, after completing the work, I noticed that water puddles were forming in the area between the steps and walkway, which never occured before this job. I contacted Rudolf about these deficiencies. He listend to me but didnt seem to believe me, although I was visually pointing out the problems. Initially, I said that I would get a 3rd party inspector to review the work and convince Rudolf that there were problems. But, we decided not to occur an additional $400 for an inspection. Instead, I took pictures documenting the deficiencies. When I shared the pictures, Rudolf sent his crew to repair the steps and the walkway. But in the course of repairing the walkway, the Do Not Cross tape fell into the concrete and left an imprint. My concrete walkway NOW has the imprint from the tape. During the final inspection, I pointed this out to Rudolf but the conversation quickly went downhill. Rather than push for him to fix the imprint, I opted to just pay the balance to end this business relationship and my stress. Rudolf accused me of being demanding. I will be glad to share my pictures showing the basis for my demands. My only reponse to the accusation is that when a customer pays over $8000+ for a job, he/she has a right to demand the high quality work.

1. Very hard to get detailed written estimates for other providers. Estimate from this company was free and detailed. This company was not the cheapest but I was most comfortable the professional level of service and based on this will use them again. As a homeowner, I like to keep records for myself, have a written document to comparison shop, and also have detailed information in the event there is a problem and also have information to share when/if the house has to be sold. 2. Was available for estimate over the weekend. Not sure if this is normal practice or if it was done to accommodate my schedule because I work during the week. 3. Workers cam timely. I was afraid that they were too early and would wake my neighbors but they were respect and waited in their vehicle until a reasonable hour. I did not even have to ask them to do this 4. The job was left very neat. Concrete that was dug up was grouped very neatly until it was ready to be carted away 5. Job was completed on time 6. Pleased and will use them again

It went very well. They arrived on time. Rudolph and Louis performed excellent service. They are professional, dependable, efficient, and cleaned up before they left. We're very happy with the work they did and will use them again.

The work was done in a timely manner and we are very satisfied with the overall results. At the end of each work day they left the work site clean and they were careful not to damage any of our plants and shrubs. We would use the Bonn Group again in the future and would also recommend them to our neighbors and friends.

Rodolf was very responsive to the request for assistance and came out to look at the project, which had been poorly done by someone else, so he came in to attempt to correct the issue. He was very candid that there was only so much he could do. Because of the weather and his involvement the start of the job got pushed back a little bit, but that was not a problem for me since I had no pressure. The only complaint I had with that was getting a call the night before to say he was starting, as I had to remove items from the work location. He was very understanding with the issue and wasn't really an issue. The final product was good for what I needed, though there were a few imperfections in the cement. One section I did ask Rodolf to come back and look at. He came back and looked at it, said it wasn't correct and came back a few days later to repair it. I've since installed engineered hardwood over it and while it isn't perfectly level, it was well within the range for what I needed. You would have to understand the nature of the beast he was dealing with to begin with. Overall, I'm very satisfied and would use him again for other jobs.

Wwork was performed in a professional manner. The service was above expectation. The work was completed in a timely manner and the work completed was better than what was the original work they were repairing.

They are very knowledgable and explained everything greatly. I plan on using them just need to find the time to use them.

Rodolf and his crew were excellent. They arrived on time and were very professional. They dug the hole, removed the existing window, cut the block to the exact size and installed the new window. The new opening was exact and resulted in no drywall repair inside. All work passed Co Inspection the 1st time. Turn around time was very quick. Quality of work was very good. They did an excellent job of cleaning up and everything went very well. Good to work with.

The work was performed promptly and since I could not go and examine the work prior to payment as I was in another geographic region, Rudolf sent me pictures of the work completed phase by phase. Upon receipt of the pictures I promptly paid BGA.

He removed old fence, put up a new fence and a gate. He picked up my deposit on Saturday and when I got home from work on Monday, June 24th my new fence was up. It makes the back of my house look so much better. I will be hiring him again very soon to do other work! Rodolfo was extremely professional. He came out to the site at a moments notice and gave me an estimate with a thorough overview of the services that were to be performed which included lined items explaining each task in detail. There was a scheduling issue to begin the work but Rodolfo immediately resolved the problem and thankfully my schedule permitted the change. His workers were punctual, efficient and conscientious about keeping residual dust from the job at a minimal by sealing off the room tightly. I scored the job as a B,(Good), overall because of the finishing details. I have rather keen eyes for the details and I was a tad bit dissatisfied due to the fact that the exterior bricks were not turned, when completed, the way that I'd expected for a cleaner finish. The putty and caulking finishes left a bit to be desired which intern I'll have to complete to get a smoother finish before repainting around the door. The baseboard trim was cut a bit short and wasn't quite flush and the chair rail that was reused was left with a crack which I'll have to caulk to make whole again. I think the fact that it was a Sunday and the assistant may have just wanted to get home led him to cut a few corners. But, with the exception of those finishing details that I was dissatisfied with and a few corrections to the intial contract because of changes in the scope of work, I'm satisfied.. I'm pleased with my door and would use his company again and would recommend.

The service turned out well. I had used them before for a fence and chose to go with them again.

They were really good. They did an excellent job. Everybody liked it. The deck had a roof on it that was done with some plastic stuff, and I did not like it. They put a new roof on and the side part of the deck for me, and they used new wood for that. They used what was there. They replaced some other parts and kind of move stuff around. I would definitely use them again. There was a little problem in getting them started, and there was some misunderstanding about when they were supposed to start, but once they got started, it was great. Their price was good; they were the best deal of all.

The contractor, Rodolf, accepted my amendments to his original proposal to require that the Flo-Coat be applied in accordance with the material specification set forth online at www.sakrete.com/uploads/downloads/Sakrete%20Flo-Coat%20Concrete%20Resurfacer%203-09.pdf. As far as I could tell, the proper procedures were followed. However, the final appearance of the apron still exhibits color non-uniformities, but these are much improved over the initial look and I deem the work acceptable A Sakrete technical representative to whom I sent pictures of the apron had no definitive explanation as to the color variations. Since six different batches of material were used, a batch-to-batch variation could be responsible. .
