Great work and customer service from the start. I paid for quality work. Very skilled professionals by a general contractor. They will get more business from me in the fire. It was great working with Rodolf. Excellent customer service.

I e-mailed the company to find out if they service the county I reside, they do. Sent another e-mail to set up an appointment for an estimate for a concrete patio,it was set for 1 p.m 3/26/16. A no-show for the appointment no response nor a phone call to reschedule. Waited all day for him.

They came out to check what I needed done. I indicated the ceiling repair, as well as asking if they could take a look at my dryer and an outside faucet that wasn't working. They said they could do the ceiling, but did not know about the other two. For $300, which I had already paid, I didn't really have a choice. They came out to fix the ceiling, which went fine, but said they could do nothing about the other two issues. I really think my dryer just needs the vent cleaned, which I can't do on my own, but this only occurred to me later. Since the work took less than 4 hours, I asked if they'd be willing to come back to do additional work. They said no. We discussed this a bit, but I agreed. Later, I emailed to see if they'd be willing to do some additional work (for additional payment), but they never responded. Might be because the deal is done and they are not checking Angie's List messages. Overall, I'm ok with the work done and the amount I paid, but it would be great to be able to find out if all the services that need doing will get done before buying the coupon.

It went very smoothly and looks great. The work was scheduled quickly at a time that was convenient for us, and the contractor was conscientious and professional. There were some challenges along the way and they communicated clearly to explain the situation so we could resolve them in a way that was best for us. We have a lot of work to do on our house and will definitely call them again.

Contractor visited site and made a plan, providing feedback on what could be accomplished for the Angie's list deal. Followed through with work. Competent plumber did the job. Shower works well. No complaints.

Job went great. Owner communicated with me very well and was flexible enough to fit into my schedule. Came over to scope the job and sent a repair man the next day. Repair man arrived before the scheduled time and got right to work. Job took about 4 hours and his work was nice and clean. I have my closet back! I would definitely use this company for future jobs! Punctuality and professionalism made this job a success.

Scheduling the work was the hard part. The actual execution of the work was excellent. I am not sure I would contact this company for work again because I didn't like how the owner tried to get over on the Angie Deal, although I feel like I got my money's worth for what I paid and what was done. I didn't get the amount of time that was indicated in the Angie's deal. The deal was for 8 hours for 1 man and 4 hours for 2. During the initial walk-thru the owner said it would take two men to do my storm door and therefore he could only commit to installing my storm door and 2 toilets; however he sent only contractor to the house which means I should have had 8 hours of work The contractor finished up in about 5 hours. Since he installed my storm door on one of the coldest days, I felt bad for him and didn't bother to contact the owner to let him know that I still had 3 hours remaining. The actual contractor, Ruiz, who did the work was excellent, but I am not sure I would want to deal with the owner again. I felt like he tried to get over on me. Additionally he reschedule twice for my walk-thru and while I understand that emergencies occur, if he said he was going to be there at 10 am, he should not wait until noon to notify me of an emergency. Additionally when we we confirming the work to be done, he initially told me he could not do the storm door the next day because it was going to be the coldest day of the season but when he contractor came to my house he was expecting to install the storm door. It was not so bad because Home Depot had the size and the contractor was willing to go to HD to pick up with me, but I didn't appreciate when I called the owner to confirm and yelled at me and insisted he told me the night before to get the storm door. Since my memory is not the greatest, although I specifically recall talking about how cold it was going to be and he didn't want his contractor to freeze. I don't have an issue with a misunderstanding but I don't appreciate being yelled at, especially when I am like hey no big deal I will just run and retrieve a storm door. So I struggle in my overall rating (A/B), but I believe in the total package: quality of work and professionalism.

The gentlemen were very nice, polite, professional and thorough and did a nice job. I bought this as a "special" for 8 hours of labor on any remodeling project. (materials not included). I understood that this could have been 1 person for 8 hours of 2 people for 4 hours. It ended up being 1 person for 4 hours and another person for 3.25 hours. During the pre-work review at my home, while talking to the owner, I had a strong suspicion the conversation leaning towards a bate and switch scheme as he explained that his crew could not possibly demo (the already partially demo'd) tiny bathroom in 8 hours. He also explained that he would not supply trash bags or take the trash away for the demo (that would be an additional cost). In addition, all the fixtures including the toilet would need to be removed prior to demo (or that would be an additional charge). I agreed to supply all the trash bags and allowed them to leave the debis outside my home. I also removed the fixtures (small vanity, toilet and tub faucet knobs) before they arrived...it took less than 1/2 hour. The work was fine, they did not make too much noise or dust. However, I think they could have done the job to include removing the fixtures in far less than 8 hours. It was a first for me when a contractor would not supply their own trash bags and offer to take the debris from the work site as part of a demolition job. I would recommend this company but would give strong caution to anyone and advise them to ask questions and understand what is and is not included before buying the special.

This was a $399 big deal purchase and it went well. We finally got together, they got it done and they kept it to the price they said they would. They did not use the same color of mortar to do the patching. He said he could not get that mortar or what- have-you, but the work was good. To get a better grade they had to use the right color mortar. The price was fair. When he did make a commitment he was punctual. They are good guys once we got together and communicated with each other. He told me he could not do all that work within four hours. I told him I thought he could. I said if he was any good at what he did he could get it done in less than four hours. So he took that as a challenge. I gave them each a tip and told him that was for doing a good job in your work like you said you would. So they were happy.

This was a really highly rated and in demand company so I knew that I had to be patient. The work was outside on the roof so the weather had to be optimum. They explained to me in advance and it clearly states that "materials will be paid by owner" so I did have to pay for bags of mortar. They did an Excellent job.

Rodolph, the owner , and the workers came a couple of days early to survey the work. They were very punctual on appearing the day of the work and did an excellent job, even extending a couple of minutes over the four hours to complete the work. I am very satisfied with the work.

Two out the three concrete stairs in front of our house that lead to the walkway going up the house were broken and crumbling to the point we had to jump over the steps. Rodolf quickly came over the same day and spent time reviewing our options for the job. His gave us a very affordable estimate which was exactly the price we paid. Two days later he was here with materials and two other guys spending hours in the cold weather rebuilding one of the steps and repairing the other step. His attention to detail is impeccable and takes great pride in his high quality work. We could see that customer service is # 1 to him when he came back the next day to finish the steps to perfection. He went above and beyond to make the steps look like brand new. We will be using him in the future for all masonry work and highly recommend his company to others.

I WOULD URGE CAUTION- smaller outside concrete jobs should be fine- manage them and pay attention to clean up and that they are doing what you expect! Otherwise- keep looking. DRAMA, Arrogance, poor communication and/or understanding of the desired results, if bad attitude develops by Rodolf, it will be reflected in workers and work performed. At times- it was his project and NOT ours. Be careful about slight changes in scope. I ended up adding $1850 to project the second day. There are many tricks in the bag which can and will be used against you for larger projects. Understand, if and when you stand up or challenge or insist on certain things being done a certain way- see drama, bad attitude, passive aggressive, etc. Works better with males than females. From the beginning- I was given a start date that changed too many times. Contractor showed up 6 weeks after orginal start date and one week earlier than the last final date (which had them overlapping with window install team). Also, part of my decision to hire Bonn was based on them moving to a large upstairs drywall job. He strung me along and in the end- left for another job but said he would come back. In the end, I hired another contractor and they will complete today (8 days) what Rodolf was going to take 3.5 to 4 weeks to complete. Things happen for a reason and I got lucky in the end because I refused to continue to do work with Rodolf. These guys made it so easy and have done an excellent job. Start at 715 and work until 6pm every day. In the end, I will have to pay to have the concrete restoration of entry walkway redone, I have spent over 40 hours doing the painting and sealing and cleaning that was NOT done. I want to say the 2 Bonn workers were very qualified and had many talents and skills. The weak link revolved around how they were managed and the general tone or attitude exhibited by Rodolf. Workers showed up early and on time every day. I would hire the workers as independent contractor.

Great! Very responsive and always communicated well. It was obvious they take great pride in their work. All other companies we contacted were booked for many weeks in advance and quoted me roughly $300-$400 more than Bonn Group. In the quote process, they also were more professional than the other companies by sending me an actual itemized quote. The crew was great, very nice and respectful. The work looks great and I will gladly use these guys again!

I have been very satisfied with Bonn Group America. I have used them on multiple properties, for multiple scopes of work. Positives: EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE PRICING. High quality of craftsmanship, and very amicable to work with. Also, very willing to adjust their schedule to meet my time line. Not as positive: Ability to understand overall project. I have had to work without drawings, and there were times when I thought the vision was understood by BGA's team, but found out as the work was progressing that it was not. This resulted in additional over site to make sure all details were addressed. HOWEVER, having worked on large scale commercial construction projects, this is a common issue. I will absolutely continue to go to Bonn Group for future projects.

I had concrete steps in need of repair. Other contractors said the steps needed to be rebuilt but Rodolf said he could repair them instead. He was right and the steps look brand new! Rodolf and his crew were very prompt and professional. I would highly recommend Rodolf and Bonn Group America.

The contractor had to access the wall through my neighbor's property. Some dirt had been removed to access the bricks. Upon completion, the contractor did not put the dirt back in the hole, other than that did a good job. The mortar had to dry and that would have required another trip to come back. Hole wasn't too big.

Very professional and easy to work with. Explained the scope of work and what was necessary to achieve the results I wanted. I would definitely hire again. Excellent work.

True professional. Very responsive. Customer friendly. Price was extremely competitive. His team was here each day until the job was done. On time. Quality work. Cleaned up after themselves. Walked me through the details. I was so happy with his work that I asked him to do some additional work in the house. I would use him again again and again!!!!

I had to have a drain stack repaired and sheet rock had to be removed in two places. The service repaired the drywall. Service person arrived on time and called a few minutes before arriving. The work was difficult because it was overhead in a cramped space in the basement bathroom. The quality of the work was excellent. Only quibble is that some extra sanding will be needed before painting. But the fix is good and solid.

Went well/ the damage to the chimney was far worse than we thought but he gave me a discounted [rice. The work was first rate. They worked all day non stop

He would not give me a time and date for him to come out at first. He said he was in an accident and would be out the next day and It has been 5 days and I have heard nothing I am requesting a refund.

I came upon Bonn Group America Inc on November 14th, while searching for someone to perform mortar repair on the side wall of my end of group town home above the second story windows. They were offering a coupon for the exact work I needed done, for 4 hours of brick/mortar work labor for $329, with no restrictions. I immediately purchased the coupon and someone from Bonn Group contacted me the same day through Angie's List message to ask for dates that I was available for them to come out and look at the job. I responded with my availability (11/20 or 11/28)the next business day. I hadn't heard anything back, so I contacted them again on 11/19 to ask if they had an idea of when they were planning to come out, since the following day was one of the days I would be available. Rodolf responded to my message and said he would be there tomorrow. He finally arrived just before sundown (approx 4:45pm) and without even pulling a ladder off his truck, or bothering to do any sort of inspection, other than looking up in the waning daylight from the ground, he laughed at me and said that the coupon wouldn't even begin to cover it. He said he'd have to work up an estimate and would get back to me the next day. The next day came and went, and I hadn't heard from Rodolf, so I messaged him through Angie's List on 11/25, 5 days later, and asked if he'd had a chance to work up the estimate, so that my husband and I could evaluate it and decide what to do. He said he was waiting on a quote on scaffolding rental, and would get back to my by Friday, November, 28. He sent me the estimate on November 29 and when I saw it, I was in disbelief. The quote to perform the same work we'd discussed had gone up to literally over 10 times the amount of the coupon! I immediately responded and asked how that was even possible. The coupon only covered the 4 hours of labor, which I understood, but there were prices for scaffolding rental, scaffolding set up, scaffolding break down, cleaning up behind themselves after the work was done, exorbitant materials fees, and lots of additional labor charges. I have so many issues with what was quoted to us I'm not sure where to begin. The coupon clearly stated that any additional labor would be added at the rate of $79/hr, but the labor alone on the quote provided me was $2285, which, at the supposed $79/hr rate, would equal nearly 29 hours of labor, which is ludicrous and flat out incorrect. Next, I fail to understand why a masonry company wouldn't already have scaffolding, and would have to rent it and charge me for it. Also, why am I being charged $300 for them to clean up behind themselves? The bottom line of the situation is my husband and I both feel that Bonn Group America Inc uses this "coupon" to get you to hire them, and then tells you that much more work is needed than the coupon will cover. It's a classic "Bait and Switch" in our opinion, and I would never choose to do business with someone with, at the very least, questionable, business ethics. I messaged Bonn Group American Inc the same day they sent me the quote (11/29) and explained my feeling, and told them I'd like a full refund for the coupon I purchased. Today is December 5th, and I still have not heard back from them.
