Excellent job. He's thorough in what he does, and he seems like he cares about saving your money, because if there's something that you can do instead of him he'll suggest that. He's very good and I believe he's honest too.

Slade Smith repaired wires that were shorted out and cleaned coils. He was very professional, punctual and neat with his work. I highly recommend him. He explained everything that he was doing and the functions of the working and non-working parts.

I thought my thermostat needed replacement because it had a blank screen and had stopped working. After contacting Slade through Angie’s List, he called to set up an appointment and was able to come the same day of contact. I was very happy about that because it was very hot, as usual, when your air goes out. Slade was very punctual even though he had to travel during rush hour to make the appointment and was very professional and courteous. He tried various technical methods to isolate the problem and was determined to find the source as he explained every step of the way of what he was doing to my husband. In the process of locating the cause of the stoppage, he dismantled the heat pump, located and repaired the problem, and made preventive recommendations for future use. I also asked about the condition of my heat pump since it’s at least 20 years old and although he said it was still doing good, he said there were newer models that would perform better than the unit we currently have. I do intend to use Slade again before the end of the year to replace my current heat pump.

It went very well.....they showed up as the result of an emergency call, completed the analysis, installed the new unit, removed the old unit and I was up and running in just a few hours. I am extremely happy and very cool :-)

The provider was professional and courteous. He fixed a problem that 2 other companies were unable to do. I highly recommend this company.

Well temperatures outside were hitting the high 90's for several consecutive days so we were desperate. Unfortunately, every HVAC provider that we called were booked solid for the next week. I was in a hair salon and after being there about an hour I noticed a man in uniform come in the salon the name on his shirt said All City HVAC. I mentioned to my stylist that it felt great in here already and that I was in need of HVAC service at home. She introduced me to Mr. Smith, he pulled out his phone where he had his schedule and said he could meet my husband at the house in an hour because he was just doing service check ups. I phoned my husband who was Leary at first that someone in that field would be available, however he met Mr Smith at our house within the hour. 2-1/2 hours later I returned home and not only had the problem been identified - we needed a new compressor outside and the unit in the attic had never been replaced but repaired it was 22 years old. Mr Smith retired 6:30am the next morning and worked with his assistant for hours in the attic where temperatures were over 100 degrees. By mid afternoon they were cleaning up and my house was feeling like we were in Alaska! Great experience. I would and have recommended Allcity HVAC services

Very well. After having a couple contractors assess the issue, Slade's recommendation fell in line with what I was reading and discussed with other professionals. Additionally, he offered a temporary fix at no charge as I was still interviewing contractors and deciding whether or not to replace the whole unit. He was the only one to offer some relief in the 90 degree heat.   Detailed what was wrong and the fix. Very professional. Guarantees his work. Will definitely use him again. Hoping not to have the need. ?

It went very well!
We have 2 young children, and although we have a wood-burning fire place, we were extremely concerned we wouldn't be able to make it through the night with such low temperatures.
The owner arrived and put at ease within minutes.
He gave us a rundown of what he needed to do, along with a timetable outlining how long it would take.
He was absolutely correct, and did everything he said he would, in a timely manner.
He left that morning with instructions moving forward, as well as assurance he'd be here if we needed him again.

He confirmed our appointment, arrived promptly and completed the work. He saved me hundreds of dollars by fixing the unit vs. just replacing the unit!

There is nothing like a person who has mastered their craft. Several people had previously tried to fix this problem costing me a lot of money because of wrong diagnosis but this service man was spot on.

I was referred to AllCity HVAC by a neighbor. When I called, the technician was very professional and I was able to schedule an appointment right away. When he arrived, he was able to quickly diagnose my system--unlike the previous company that came out. He was upfront about the cost of replacement and even gave me a discount on the service. I was also able to pay via credit card--so that was a plus! My system is working fine now and we haven't had a problem since.
