I have been working with Alan and Manuel for the past 7+ years. I first met them when they were the listing agents and I was a buyer. Clearly they were in it for the long haul as I spent 1-2 years on/off shopping for real estate and it took more than that for our first purchase. Since then, I’ve purchased 4 properties in 4 years with them – 3 SFHs and 1 condo. They are experts in leading me through the process for each type of property. With each of the purchases, the circumstances were different and none were “cookie cutter.” For this latest condo purchase which will be my permanent residence, they had shown us several condos in the area. We knew the complex that interested us most and when a unit came on the market, we found it on-line at 9am, connected with ADMC at 10am, the offer was submitted by noon (before the Open House) and we had a ratified contract by 6pm as the first offer submitted. Wow – they really know how to make things move quickly! Plus, Alan went to the condo and Face-Timed so we could see it since we were out of town. Yes, Always Doing More for Clients! Negotiations weren’t too difficult, but it required a calm, cool perspective from ADMC. They are expert negotiators and I write this based on our other 3 purchases with them. Closing went very smoothly and they were always available for consultation and guidance. I’ve also worked with other members of the ADMC team and they have always been great to work with. ADMC was also able to recommend a home inspector that I confirmed had good ratings on AngiesList.com. They also know a lot of "trades" people to do work on your place if that’s needed. I used a painter they recommended as well as someone to put up a fence and it went really well! So, they are a true resource for your housing needs. I would not hesitate to recommend ADMC.

As first-time home buyers we were very slow-going into the process until we were ready to make the full leap into the competitive DC market. Michael walked us through every little step and was always responsive and ready to offer advice or words of encouragement when things were difficult. We're now very happy in our new home!

The staff at ADMC are professional and knowledgeable realtors. I worked primarily with Alan, and he was there to guide and help every step of the way in my home purchase. I have previously utilized Alan's expertise in finding a town home to rent in 2013. This time around, I used ADMC's services to purchase a home in Virginia. Alan showed me numerous properties, and if he didn't have an answer to a question I had about a home he contacted the selling agent directly to get me the information. When I ran into any kind of complication in the home buying process Alan was already on the issue before I even had to ask. They are very timely with staying in touch and answering any questions I had. I would recommend ADMC to anyone in the VA, MD, DC area who are in the market to buy a home. I had a 100% positive experience with ADMC, which is honestly hard to come by in the real estate world. I have bought two homes previously with other realtors and the service I received from ADMC was above and beyond anything I had ever received before. Great company and realtors!

My husband and I bought our first home with ADMC. Alan Dalton was recommended to us by friends who had worked with him twice before and raved about him, and we're happy to say we now also rave about him. Alan drove out of his way to Anne Arundel County to meet with us on a weekend just to talk about what we were looking for, how much we had to spend, etc. He suggested properties to us and arranged multiple outings to see homes he had found or we had found that we wanted to see. All told, Alan took us to almost 30 properties and was always happy to see more. He even suggested we go back to some of the properties for a second visit. We never felt rushed on any of our trips to see houses, and he made great observations that we never would have noticed on our own as first-time buyers (e.g. that the windows in a house were new). Alan replied to all of our emails and calls almost immediately. Alan also put us in touch with a lender who turned out to be fantastic. That's for another review, but given how clueless we were about mortgages, etc., it was great that Alan could refer us to someone he trusted to help us with the process. Once we found a house we loved, Alan was there for us through the whole process of making an offer, negotiating, and closing. He talked us through all the paperwork, attended the home inspection with us, stopped by the house for a pre-settlement walk-through, and made sure we fully understood the entire process. He really made us feel comfortable with the decisions that we were making and he allowed us to be confident in our choices. Even after we had closed on the house, Alan continued to answer all of our emails, to check in to see how things were going, and to follow-up on some remaining issues with the seller's agent. Having a knowledgeable agent is very important, especially for first-time home-buyers, but Alan went above and beyond. He was pleasant to be around (which was good since seeing 30 houses takes a long time!) and always professional. In short, we could not recommend ADMC, and especially Alan, more.

In the DC area's hot real estate market, the need to move quickly is essential. While Alan and team helped us purchase our primary residence (July 2012), we have been looking for investment properties for years. Alan's team is truly outstanding. They are very professional, provide excellent guidance, highly responsive and thorough, extremely competent and just plain fun to be around. We identified a property that was just listed on Saturday evening, I walked by it Sunday AM, called Manuel about an hour after that, he had us in the property within 2 hours, and we had a contract ready to go that evening whose only delay was due to our need to contact a lender on Monday. After our offer was accepted, ADMC was very timely and thorough to ensure that all the steps were taken within a timely manner (e.g. termite inspection, etc).

I just bought my first house a couple of weeks ago with the help of the ADMC Realty Group. As a first time home buyer, I started looking into purchasing a home in April 2012. Make the long story short, after trying out two other agents who perhaps were not the most responsive to my needs, I called these guys based on reviews I saw on Yelp (before my Angie's List subscription). And BOY am I glad that I did! Michael Dannenhauer was ALWAYS responsive to my questions and checked in with me even when I didn't need anything. Even though I was painstakingly working with NACA (worth entirely another review, with no stars) to get funding when we met, he introduced me to the much more efficient CHIP program, which offered a comparable product. He also FOUGHT on my behalf when the seller's agent was not being the most efficient, so I could totally just sit back and watch. Michael's colleague Anne Marie, who is the client care specialist, was also immensely helpful as she spent more than an hour on the phone with me, explaining all the confusing aspects of borrowing money and closing on the house. She literally went line by line, explaining the closing documents and exactly what I was paying for in my closing costs. (Despite my MBA, it was still one of the most confusing and unexplained documents I've ever laid my eyes on!) Her patience and expertise gave me great peace of mind, which I think is generally missing in the industry. Last but not least, Alan Dalton was also awesome, stepping in as necessary and working as a team to meet my needs. In short: I bought a bargain-priced home in DC standards, but I was treated like a million-dollar client by the ADMC team. My only small tiny regret is that I wish I had called them in April!

Alan and his team are absolutely outstanding - comprised of knowledgeable, friendly, decent, patient people. We had put offers on numerous properties (at least 8) and patiently continued the search until we were successful. Alan was terrific in guiding me through the process (each time depending on the circumstances!) and ensuring that my interests were protected at all times. I always felt that he was in my corner. He helped with my questions, with services, and with arriving punctually at the varying sites we looked at. Alan and team wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied every step of the way. His customer relations manager, Ann Marie, is another person who is incredibly talented, competent, thorough and knowledgeable. She volunteered to make calls on my behalf and if I had any concerns, she would research the concern and provide a very timely and complete answer. It would be a mistake to not first talk to ADMC if you were in need of real estate services.
