They were very professional, gave us an honest opinion about hot water heater. Came back the next day to repair according to their recommendations. They worked quickly and efficiently, and were pleasant to have in the house.

As opposed to some plumbers that will respond in a few days they were very prompt.  The work was done well and the only issue was the price.  The two parts were marked up 3 to 7x the retail price in a hardware store but the real issue was the labor charge which was $239 for about an hour.

I have used Pat Gilbertie for several years (long before signing up for Angie's list), switching from more expensive and less reliable plumbers. In total, I have probably used them over half a dozen times, each time to my great satisfaction. They showed up on time. The two people worked steadily for several hours, with me present most of the time. They completed the work on time, with excellent results, left the workplace clean and tidy, and were reasonable in price relative to other bids I had requested. What was exceptional was how unremarkable this was.

Good but for the price, which was excessive.  If you use these people, get a good estimate in advance.  Otherwise, you may be in for a shock.

Could not clear the drain. Called a second service later that day who finished the job.

Called to replace a sink faucet in my kitchen after having a bad experience with another plumber.  The service was exactly what I expected, the price was fare and I was appreciative that they were able to show up as quickly as they did.

Pat Gilbertie plumbing has always been responsive to my calls for service, they are courteous and skilled.   Very professional.
Their prices are fair and they have done work for several of my neighbors as per my recommendations. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing work to be done in their home.

The good news: Responsive, professional, and efficient. The bad news: More expensive than I was told over the phone. For two plumbers, the hourly rate was to be $175. They were on the job for one hour, plus or minus five minutes. The bill was for 1 1/2 hours plus parts and supplies. I didn't discuss the charge for the extra half hour, but should have. I'd use them again, but next time would make sure to confirm the details of billing in advance so that there are no surprises.

Gilbertie was extremely responsive, accurate, precise and polite in the scheduling process. The service tech was prompt, skilled and polite -- really a nice guy. He even cheerfully provided a refernce for well system work. The price, while not bargain, was reasonable for the area and much better than others I've used. I am thankful that I don't have to keep looking for a great plumber.

Called at 7:30 am. They arrived at 9 and were finished in just over an hour. They also fixed two non-related items as well.

I received an immediate call back after leaving a message. Due to illness of one plumber, they were not able to come over for about three days. (This was not an emergency.) I was told when they thought they would be able to come. I received a call every day updating me on the estimated time they would be able to come, and they arrived at precisely when they said they would. The job couldn't be finished on the first visit and the owner came by on the weekend (no charge) to confirm what would be needed to finish. When they came to finish the job, they arrived exactly when they said they would. This company is extremely interested in giving good service and satisfying customers. I have never received such great attention and follow-up. Very professional and highly recommended.
