This was the best experience that I have ever had with a contractor. Jim is meticulous about his work, was better than prompt and very nice too! He will be back at my house doing more projects in the future!

He replaced the roof. He was prompt, did quality work, and cleaned up. Have used him since then to repair and paint deck and install interior railing on stairs.

This was a completely positive experience. James was prompt, knowledgeable, organized and very competant. His crew was experienced. The work was done swiftly and thoroughly, even including some details he had not planned to do. I work from my home office - when I had clients, James was considerate and made certain to move his crew to another area. I am very pleased and have given his name to several friends already.

At first sight we were very impressed with Jim LaFleur. He was prompt, courteous, and clever, understanding of our immediate and long term needs and offered good suggestions. His first trial job (rain/roof leak) was done well and we were extremely satisfied. He had given us a �not to exceed estimate� and lived with-in it. Subsequently, we asked for a quote on replacing two doors and three windows, as well as solving a water run-off problem and staining of our building. This was in early April. We were pleased and trusting with his understanding of what we needed and agreed to start upon receipt of his quote. A �not to exceed� quote would have sufficed. In fact, since we are absentee owners, we gave him a key so that he could start as soon as he was available. Several follow-up emails and calls resulted in little to no response. Near the end of June, we traveled to visit for a long holiday vacation. We were to meet after our arrival in CT. Jim did not return at least four calls to meet with us including my request to return our key. To have traveled over 1200 miles, with no result and failed expectation, is extremely disappointing. We are now re instituting the search process and unfortunately we are skeptical of other contractor�s motivations and behaviors.

This crew far exceeded our expectations! Communication was great � I was always kept informed of what was going on when I wasn�t home, and he was very patient in explaining the technical aspects of the job to me (since I know nothing about roofing). He finished on-time and on-budget. The crew was very professional, and definitely took a lot of pride in their work. The pride shows in the finished product! We were very happy with all aspects of the job and would hire Lafleur again for future projects.

Absolutely excellent. Very professional. He and his men take great pride in the work that they do. Very strong work ethics. Rare these days. Would definitely recommend them.

Jim ran into some unexpected repair work. He was prompt, courteous, and clean. He completed work in a timely manner, and charged fairly for unexpected additional non contract work. I would hire Jim again.

What a wonderful job that was done on our roof. From the date James met with us in our home to the date of completion, words cannot express how satisfied we are with his company. We definitely wanted a quality roof job and were very impressed by the attention that was given to us. The installers were very professional and hard working. I would hire James and his guy's for any future home improvements I may need.

James and his team did a great job, he was very courteous when he came out and worked with me to decide on what the best approach was to my project. I would recommend James to anyone.

Project was not quite as described. Worker's damaged my screen door, but contractor never came back to fixed it as promised. Also failed to finished cleaning up site, and left wood rough and splintery around screws.

Top notch job. Personable and professional. Will probably be using him for another project we're planning in a few years.

They got the job done very quickly. Also, I got what I expected for the money. They obtained the building permit which I appreciated.
