Did not go over anything with me beforehand and did not point out there was a long list of expectations and things they did not do on the BACK of the contract. Had a young inexperienced guy helping him that did a bad job. I can see the sanding circles etched into the wood floors with the stain. Wash in a rush to get out. Did not move my fridge to sand/stain under it when he said he would (only cabinets on one side). Did not stain the wood vent covers on the floor to match and said he would charge $50 each if I wanted him to come back and do it. Low rate and unprofessional- bid comes in low bc he does not offer as good of service as many others.

Dan is great at what he does and takes pride in his work. Highly recommend

Danny did an amazing job for a fair price. Our main floor of our home is oak hardwood over 1100 square feet. It is 18 years old and was a main office model home for the first 4 years. The floor had a great deal of traffic and after 18 years it was very worn. Now it looks like a brand new hardwood floor. Danny sanded it down, put in filler and three coats of a water base finish that shows the woods natural colors. Several friends have commented about how good it looks and what a great job he did. Danny also did a good job of cleaning up after the project. If you are looking at having your hardwood floors refinished, Danny is who you want to contract to have it done. Other companies you get a hired crew and you never know what youâ re going to get. Geist Hardwood, you get Danny Geist who does the work and has been doing it for over 30 years.

Danny and his crew repaired and refinished over 1300 square feet of hardwood floor in my home. Before the project, my floors were so old and worn down that I honestly wasnâ t sure if refinishing them would work at all. Geist proved me wrong! Now the floors look brand new, and I couldnâ t be happier with the results. I would recommend Geist to anyone looking to refinish their floors, they seriously do amazing work at a very affordable rate.

Very professional and very awesome work

So this company (Danny) was the ONLY one who didn't try to sell me on doing the whole house of floors when I needed a very small repair done. It was about 24" by 6" space that had some damage. EVERYONE else didn't say it was too small of a job for them, that they didn't really want to do it. They all wasted my time and came over tried to measure everything in my house and sell me a $3000 job. Geist Hardwood came over said "Sure I can do it." He fixed it in about 2 hours and was very reasonable with the price 5 stars all the way around.

Mr. Geist repaired and refinished three different areas of our wood flooring. He did a brilliant job and the refinishing was perfect! We cannot tell the old finish from the new. He is truly an expert at this and we felt like it was a really great value!

Very good prompt and communications were great. Came back and lightly buffed the final coat and finish for a great finish.

Danny did great work refinishing and staining. He was able to come a few days before so my wife and I could choose a stain. It turned out as good as expected.

Did an amazing job refinishing my hardwood floors. And it was no easy job because the previous owner painted the floors white and then put carpet down. Danny came in and ripped out the old carpet, sanded the white paint away, and refinished the floors with two coats of poly in less than a day! I was very happy with the results!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
