Everything was quick and easy. From setting the appointment on the app to getting the humidifier installed same day. Steven was very friendly and respectful of my home. I will definitely be calling Firestorm again!

My experience couldn’t have been better. I was referred to FireStorm Heating & Cooling by a trusted professional. My goal was to decrease my carbon footprint, be more comfortable and lower my Xcel bill by replacing my gas furnace with an electric heat pump. I got 4 estimates. Two of the companies proposed a new, energy efficient gas furnace, as backup, combined with an electric heat pump system, efficient down to 35 degrees. The other 2 estimates both proposed replacing my gas furnace with a fully electric Mitsubishi system, efficient and effective down to -22 degrees. Because FireStorm is a smaller company with less overhead, the price was quite a bit less. Steve, the owner, was very thorough in the assessment to determine the best sized unit for my house. He explained the process, informed me of the timeline and was easily accessible to answer any questions or concerns. During the work, the carpet/floors were protected and the old furnace and A/C unit were hauled away for recycling. After installation, the system was programed, verified and system use explained and demonstrated. A bonus- the work was completed ahead of schedule. I found Steve to be honest, ethical, fair, friendly, professional, meticulous, conscientious and easy to work with. It’s been 5 days now and I am absolutely loving it. The unit is unbelievably quiet. In fact, I don’t hear at all. This technology is amazing! The house temperature is much more consistent and comfortable. Rather than having the noisy blast of heat and the variance as the furnace cycles on and off, it’s as though the system is quietly working in the background. Between the solar panels and the Mitsubishi electric heat pump I’m expecting my winter Xcel bill to go way down and to be comfortable in the summer heat. No more moving box fans from room to room. Very well, the techs showed up on time each day of a multi day project, kept us informed regarding when heat or electric service would be temporarily interrupted. All of the work was completed as scheduled and basement and exterior areas where the equipment was installed was left accessible each afternoon when the crew left. The project required a lot of co-ordination with suppliers and other services (electrical) and this was all handled seamlessly by Firestorm.

The installer. Steven was on time, very punctual. I thought the company was honest and a fair price for the installation.
