I contacted Certified Mechanical solely based on their Angie's List recommendations because I didn't have an HVAC supplier I trusted. Darren showed up promptly at the appointed time and was thorough and systematic in identifying the problem with me and going through specific diagnostic steps to identify the situation. The fix was simple (tightening some things) when accomplished but finding it was based on an understanding of how these refrigeration systems work and what possible causes exist for the problem I described. The total repair time, start to finish, was about 45 minutes. What I especially liked about Darren was his explanations all the way along of what he was doing and why he was doing it.

I appreciated their input and got along with them well.

Jason was professional with every aspect of the job. He was on time, thorough, and respectful. I got a stack of his business cards to distribute to my neighbors and friends who could all benefit from services offered by Certified Mechanical.

Showed up a half hour early. Took time to explain everything he was doing and answer all of my questions. I haven't had an issue since the service with the air conditioner.

Overall a great experience and an extremely knowledgeable technician. I offered to pay the full price (I was using an Angie's List coupon to bring it down to $25) since it had turned out to be a complicated diagnostic and required two trips. The technician refused the offer and only accepted the lower price.

We spent approximately $4000 on that service. We thought that they did a great job. Two guys came here and got the installation done in a high quality manner.

Tech was prompt, very nice and helpful. Completely checked furance and fireplace. Reasonable pricing.

The thing I like about those guys is that they were upfront with their pricing and they were professional. They never had any hidden charges or extra cost or anything. They were very reliable. I would use them in the future.

Service appointment was scheduled for the day after initial call. Serviceman arrived on time and provided education, recommendations and the requested services. He was very polite and respectful, and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Overall we were very pleased with the encounter and services provided. Would recommend to anyone in this local area.

Our furnace went out in the evening. We called Certified Mechanical and Jason answered. He was very informative over the phone and he gave us an idea of what the problem might be. He offered to come right away, which would only add a reasonable amount (in my opinion) to the total bill, but I preferred to wait until morning. Jason arrived ahead of schedule (with a phone call's notice) the next morning and changed out the igniter (which is what he'd expected over the phone). He also inspected the furnace and cleaned off a sensor. He answered some questions we had about the need for a new furnace and if we needed a furnace tune-up. He answered our questions honestly and was not pushy or trying to sell us anything. Overall, it was a pleasant and relatively painless experience. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't try to tough out a night with only a space heater.

Fixed it right away for a price that most companies wanted to charge just to inspect. Was also able to come and fix the ac unit the same day we called. Amazing work. Have recommended to several friends who have also used and were exceedingly happy and impressed with the work, speed and price!

AC stopped producing cold air. With the first call, they told us what the likely problem was and we were able to get it going again, but still wanted them to come out and review our heating/cooling situation. We had never had good cooling since we bought the house new 13 years ago. They pointed out poor and mismatched components that the builder had put in to cut costs. That explained why the AC never worked well. We also need our heat/AC air flow modified to support a better filtering system since some of our problems came from having 23 hairy pets in the house. They were willing to work with the existing system, but after explaining some alternative, we chose to get a whole new furnace and replace the mismatched AC coils. We are very pleased with the results and the pricing. And it was completed in about 6 hours!

These guys were tremendous. They showed up and were very professional. They could very easily have made a case for selling me something I didn't need. Instead they did a full service on the unit and it now functions beautifully. All this plus knowledge and advice for the cost of a service call.

It went very well. The serviceman explained in detail what he was doing and told me all about the the ins and outs of electric starters on fireplace units. He also did a very good job of explaining how my heating system was working and made a correction on our humidifier, allowing it to work more efficiently. I'm convinced that the technician saved me a lot of money in the short run by discovering flaws in how my heating systems were set up this winter. Things now run a whole lot more efficiently, and we couldn't be more pleased with the service call. We expect to give Certified Mechanical our regular service calls on both heating and A/C in the future.

The pilot light on my furnace would not stay lit. Due to a death in my family, I was not able to meet Darren at my rental. He came out, within two hours, and fixed the problem. He was willing to send a bill to me due to my circumstances. I so appreciate his help fixing this problem for my renters at a difficult time for me.

Our furnace died Thursday night. Called Certified Mechanical Friday morning and Jason came by Friday night after we got home from work. We discussed repair vs. replacing and decided to replace. When Jason quoted us an amount of $1,950 we asked what the total would be installed and he said the $1,950 was for everything ?labor & materials. We expected to pay $3,000 - $4,000 for the furnace alone. Jason was able to get a new furnace later that evening and was back early Saturday morning. He offered to bring over space heaters for Friday night if we needed them. We declined but he said if later in the evening we wanted them to call and he would bring some over. He replaced the old furnace, removed our defective humidifier (not part of the original quote but he did not charge extra) and cleaned up the jobsite. We had to run out for a few hours for an appointment and during that time Jason finished installing the furnace. He called us and asked us to call him when we got home so he could start up the furnace and go over any questions. He wanted to wait to start the furnace because we have birds and he wanted to make sure they were in a place that the vapors from the initial startup wouldn't hurt them. Jason did an excellent job. He knows his stuff and the furnace rocks!

Perfect. It went just as Jason and I spoke about and envisioned.

Very good overall, I would recommend these guys. He also has a Ft Collins partner that I have no experience with.

Jason arrived promptly and was courteous and friendly, The service was routine and completed quickly. When completed, he went over what he had done and what he had found. The invoice he left also detailed the service done. Since the unit needed so little cleaning he gave me a $10 discount over the quoted price.

Certified Mechanical was contacted to install a brand new ac unit in a new home. Jason was exceptional and courteous and was always on time. After installing the unit, Jason took his time to run over every detail and maintenance task ahead. He demoed the system in its entirety and reviewed the whole installation from top to bottom. The install took roughly five hours.
