Lifetime Windows and Siding

Excellent, installers were very competent and fast, and did a great job of cleanup. We are very happy with new Marvin windows. We especially notice how quiet they make the house.

I purchased new windows for our 1963 home, the difference was amazing !! JD and his team were quick and efficient, and the staff at Lifetime was great to work with !

The salesman showed up with a colleague (who contriuted nothing to the presentation) promptly at the agreed time. During the meeting, the salesman failed to remove his hat. He took the measurements, and then tried (unsucsessfully) attempted to pressure me into purcessing. When I failed to purchase the product, his entire demeanor abruptly changed. I ended up going with another company.

Very well. Appears to be good quality and installation was well done. Several months after installation I had a problem with one area over my deck. When I called them about it they had someone out right away to look at it and out the next day to take care of the problem. So they were very responsive in their follow-up work.

I signed the contract with Lifetime for two doors - a sliding glass patio door with a dog door and a front entry door - on Sept 15. They were supposed to be ready for install in 3-4 weeks. That time and more passed with no word from Lifetime other than an odd voicemail in the middle of Oct asking me to confirm the color of the door. When Nov rolled around with still no contact from Lifetime I emailed the salesperson twice asking for a status, and I received no response either time. I called at the end of Nov and was told the doors were "on rush" and would be in at the beginning of Dec. That day came and went again with no word from Lifetime. I called in mid-Dec and was told the doors would be in at the end of Dec. Finally they called to schedule an install for Jan 5. They then rescheduled the install twice. It finally happened on Jan 14, but neither door was what I ordered. The patio door did not have the dog door insert. The front door was the wrong color, the locking mechanism was in backwards, the window was crooked and did not have the privacy glass I ordered, and the frame was cracked. Regarding the incorrect patio door, they sent a guy from Through The Glass Dog Doors out to measure for the door dog, and he came back two weeks later and installed it. For the front door, I got a call at the end of the week after the install day telling me that they couldn't build the front door that the salesperson sold me back in Sept; the privacy glass was not available with the window style I had chosen. I asked if they would be taking the charge for the privacy glass off the bill then, and they said they would. I also asked if I would be getting a discount for the hassle, and they said they would look into it. The new door - corrected for color and quality - was supposed to be in in 3-4 weeks. That time and more passed with no word. I called on Feb 24 and was told that the door was supposed to have been in the previous week, and they didn't know where it was. They managed to find it, and the install was scheduled for Mar 2. I told them when I scheduled the install that I wouldn't be available until late morning, but apparently that message was never relayed to the installers because they showed up two hours early. Lifetime did not remove the charge for the privacy glass that I didn't get from my bill, and I had to ask a second time about a discount. The discount they applied was almost nothing after accounting for the privacy glass I paid for but didn't receive. The installers were great; they seem to be the only people at the company who care about doing a quality job. I like the doors, but I would have liked them a lot more if they had been correct the first time and not 4.5 months late. No one even seemed to care about the fact that this order was such a mess. I never received an explanation or an apology. I am very thankful that I did not hire this company to replace my windows too. I used Zen Windows for that, and they were amazing - responsive, on time and high quality the first time - everything that Lifetime is not. Regarding the price -- it is only good after they get through their pricing games. 25% current promo, 5% off for this, 5% off for that, etc. Without all those "discounts" the price is far too high compared to other companies with an equal quality product.

It went well. They promptly took care of any defects.

Overall it went very well. Two windows weren't measured correctly, had to be replaced at a later date.

Lifetime really pushes there top tier product: The Marvin Infinity line. This is a great product, recognized as one of the best in the industry, and comes with a price tag to match. The salesman almost had me convinced to do it, despite the price tag about 20-30% above competing window products. What turned me off was the sales tactics used. Very high pressure. He used a variety of techniques to persuade me that he was going out of his way to offer me a great deal, but I had to decide in the next few days or his boss might rescind the deal. Over the next few days we had several email exchanges, including one in which he told me that I shouldn't do vinyl with a lifetime warranty at half the price of his because vinyl windows would "melt". Ha! My neighbor has 20 year old vinyl windows that still work, and things have only gotten better in the last 20 years. They ARE selling one of the best products out there (perhaps only beat by Boulder's own "Alpen" windows, which are better windows AND sell for 20-40% less), but their prices are high and their high pressure sales techniques drove me away.

They are really good. I was quite pleased with their work. They were honest. They were on time. Their workmen were very professional. I had half of the job done two years ago. I didn't have enough money for the whole thing and so, I said I want to do the rest. Actually, they are coming on Monday to do the second phase. In the meantime, another company came because I was taking quotes from different people and they said, 'You got a really good deal, it is high quality. They did good work and they are 40% lower than we are. We can't match their price.' That was interesting. Now I am having the others fixed in. They are at second phase of the installation. They came last month and the installation is on Monday. Their cost per window was $750 per window. The another company's cost for the same window was $1100. I thought that I got a really good price. When they came by, they said, 'You got a really good price.' I am not sure if that is the same price but they were considerably lower the other company. For the same quality window, they said, 'For us to do this window, it would be almost twice as much.'

I did the contract with 50 % down. They ordered for the windows. The windows came in. I had company and so we set up the installation for next Monday. They give you the same price because the contract that we signed before said, 'We guarantee the same price for any additional windows.' The person who came out was somebody who had done installation before. What happens is, they do the sales call and then someone comes in and does the measurements. It is very important that they get the measurements right. The next thing is, they order the windows and then they do the installation.

They still owe me a window. It has never been installed. The price was fine. Hopefully they'll call me and finish the installation.

It went well. The big windows we have are expensive to replace but the new triple pane windows are worth it. The first group were measured and replaced quickly and professionally. The second group were very large windows and high. The guy didn't do measure accurately so the Windows didn't fit the installers were very nice about it and resecured the old Windows. The installers measured the Windows they came back 6 weeks later to install the correct Windows.

Great experience. Appreciated the professionalism of Peter Svedin and the installation team. Installation was quick and clean. Positive experience, extremely pleased with the windows and improvements since the service was completed. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

The whole process was easy and worry free. We have absolutely no regrets.

Jesse and his crew showed up on time as promised. Frankly it was below freezing and I expected to have to reschedule, but they were ready to go and immediately went to work!I had 9 windows to remove and replace and they did it in less than ideal conditions in about 6 hours. They were very respectful and professional. These guys worked through without taking any kind of break even though I tried to get them to enjoy a hot cup of coffee all day. As with any major project things come up and you have to make decisions you didn't think about, but Jesse offered some suggestions and I went with his expertise and was delighted with the results. I can't say enough about this guy! He takes pride in his work and isn't afraid to got the extra mile. I'd also like to give Josh, the sales representative, kudos also. When other companies were to busy to even come out and talk to me he was out there the same week and gave me a price and a product I am sure I will be happy with years from now. But the best part was that as soon as the light went out of the sky i noticed a difference in how much warmer my home was! I used to have to set my thermostat at 72 degrees to feel comfortable, now it's on 67 degrees> I think the math speaks for itself. Bottom line i would and I will recommend Lifetime Windows and Siding and Jesse and his crew to anyone that is considering replacing there windows. Great job you guys, great job!!!!!

I complained about the lack of quality of work the subcontractor for Lifetime Windows and Siding did. This company sent $300 to reimburse me for the wrong door their subcontractor ordered and I paid for. They also sent out a quality control person to address all the complaints I had over the work the subcontractor did. If you choose to use Lifetime Windows and Siding and their subcontractors keep a close eye on the quality of work. If you have any questions or complaints and you can't get the subcontractor to respond favorably call the main office. Your complaints should be addressed quickly instead of being ignored by the subcontractor.

It went very well. We are pleased with the windows and the installation process. Any defects were promptly repaired. I would recommend them.

Pretty well. The factory made the window to the wrong size the first time (despite the correct measurements made by Lifetime), but Lifetime temporarily installed the first one until a new one was made, then installed it. So while it took a little longer than expected, they made the mistake right and finished with a beautiful window.

The windows cut down the noise issues from a busy street right by the unit, and our tenants were so pleased with the improvement to their quality of living during meals and while watching TV because they could actually hear one another and the television. No more yelling to hear one another at the dining table; no more turning the TV up enough to hear over the street noise; no more big trucks honking in the middle of the night, waking them from a sound sleep.. These windows have saved them air conditioning and heating costs as well because we chose triple-pane windows over the double-paned. The original salesperson demonstrated the windows' effectiveness by putting a heat lamp behind our current windows. The window was hot. Then he placed the same light behind the Lifetime windows, and the window was not affected at all by the heat of the light. That sold me. The warranty is stellar and transferable to a new buyer, should we decide to sell. They will replace any window part without any deductible charges. Being near a busy street, we were concerned the windows would get broken by flying debris, as that had happened before. We are very pleased with the windows. I would use this company again!

Lifetime Windows and siding has done multiple jobs on our investment properties. They are simply the best at what they do.

It's has been 4 yrs since we have hired Lifetime. And we are so glad we did. We are really enjoying our home.
