Went very well.
Description of Work: Joe came out to help me remove compression fittings on a sink shutoff valve replacement job. It was late in the day when we realized we needed help! He was prompt, courteous and did the repair quickly at a reasonable cost.

Description of Work: Replaced a $70 motor & cleaned out a cooling tube. Then the technician stated that the furnace needed replacing and quoted us $4,500. Because we were so shocked by the cost of the job he just performed, we did not go through Brothers, and it was a good thing because we had another HVAC replace our furnace for $1,600!

Customer, I agree with you, our prices are expensive. There is a lot of expense involved in operating a quality business. Are you comparing apples to apples in your price comparison? We called the city of Brighton and found that there was not a permit issued for your furnace installation. It is against the law to install a furnace without a permit. To pull a permit the contractor must supply proof of insurance and should be licensed to do the installation. This provides a third party to look the job over to make sure that the installation of the gas furnace was installed to a minimum standard. Without this permit and inspection the installation may not be adequately installed and could cause personal injury or damage. We are licensed in each city that we do work in and pull the required permits on all jobs. We are also insured so that if our technician gets injured at your home or if there are any other issues we will take care of it. We also ask you to compare the quality of the equipment, the warranties and guarantees that you have with the new furnace v. what you would have received with our installation. In addition, we take many steps to make sure we are providing you with a quality technician in your home that you can feel safe with. All of our technicians go through very strict hiring process. They are background checked, drug tested, physically tested. They constantly trained to provide the best services that the industry has to offer. To operate a quality business in this day and age is very expensive. We are a quality service company who have been around for 32 years. We will be here in the future to honor our guarantees. Description of Work: I have been using Brother's Plumbing for several years and overall have had good experience with them. Today I requested for an estimate to replace my sewer line. They wanted to charge $45 to come out and give a bid. Every other company I have coming to give a bid are not charging to do so. I was shocked that they would charge this especially since I've been a loyal customer for years.
