Description of Work: Called for service. He rudely informed me that just to come out and look at washer was going to cost 79.99. NO credit of this fee going towards repair. I get wanting to make the trip worth your while, but everywhere I've been the repair company refunds at least part of this fee if you choose to repair.

Price: We understand that service charges are what they are and the work was completed correctly; however after doing our research, D3/A-OK marked up a dryer appliance part to a exorbitant amount. The part in question was available wholesale at around 1/3 of what was charged, and even Sears with their markup had the part at around 1/2 the cost of what we were charged. When we called to see if D3/A-OK would consider a "fair" price on the part in question, they refused. Technician: average people skills, we were disappointed that he instructed my wife to vacuum the inside of the dryer before he finished the work. You would think that would be part of the service at those prices. Cleaning has always been a part of services in the past.
Description of Work: Overpriced. Technician could have been more professional.

Scott shared that the issue was not with the motherboard as previously believed, but turned out to be a simple blown fuse. We are grateful for his integrity and professionalism. Plus, he had to be called off other jobs to drive up to us more than 40 minutes away. I recommend this company to everyone who has issues with their appliances. I thought we were going to have to buy a replacement! Ugh! Glad we didn't have to do that!!

Justin K was the technician that arrived at my home on Saturday morning as scheduled. He telephoned me before arriving and told me when to expect him - he showed up right on time. He effectively troubleshot my refrigerator and explained every step he was taking in conducting the diagnostics. Justin was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered all my questions. If Justin is typical of the technicians hired by D-3/A-OK Appliance Service - this is a company that understands customer service. I will use them for every appliance repair that I have going forward. This is a company you can feel comfortable with from the initial call to their service department to repair completion. This company gets an "A" across the board. A first class operation from start to finish.

We attempted to fix our JennAir range/oven ourselves. We ended spending nearly a thousand dollars on parts, but something was always wrong. The display went out, the fan didn't work, or (even worse) the cancel button wouldn't shut off the oven. We had to turn it off at the breaker box. Michael, from D3 came out three different times and did some troubleshooting. Even he admitted that it was a "head scratching" problem. But, his years of experience paid off. He finally figured out that the burned out oven light was causing a short in the circuit boards we had bought. He replaced everything and it has worked perfectly since then.

On call is only during the day hours on wknd and weekday nights if it is a TRUE emergency per their guidelines. A refrigerator that lost its ability to cool should qualify as a service call < 24 hours.

iExcellent. We got a confirmation email letting us know when the technician would arrive. Mike showed up right on schedule, diagnosed the problem and ordered a replacement electronic control panel. We got a call from D3/A-OK when the part arrived, scheduled the install and now have our ice maker working again. I was impressed that D3/A-OK sent an email each time to confirm the arrival of their technician. Clean, professional, competent and personable. Could not ask for more.
Description of Work: Our year old french door refrigerator freezer stopped making ice. The electronic control screen went blank and our insurance company called D3/A-OK to schedule the repair.

D3/A-OK is a great company! I have used them on several occasions but most recently used them to repair my front loading washing machine. The repair required the ordering of a part which came in sooner than they planned and they were back out to my house within a couple of days after the part coming in to finish the repair. This company is very reasonable and the technician was very helpful and professional! I plan to continue using this company and would recommend others do the same!

The repair man arrived during the last 10 minutes of the appointment window. He eventually repaired the water leak inside our freezer but not after having to leave to go to the hardware store to buy Phillips head screwdriver bits and borrow an extension cord and towels from us to complete the job. I was shocked that a repair man doesn't have his own Phillips screwdriver and extension cord. The repair was completed and the appears to have worked.

Was referred to D-3 by the Viking Co.'s main number. Called: set up the appointment right away. Set up appointment for a few days hence. Time frame was 8-12. The tech, Justin, was a little late to arrive. 1215 or so. But, once he got here, we couldn't have been more pleased with him. What a pleasant fellow! And, he knew what he was doing. He got right to work, figured out the problem, and communicated fully with us what was going on. The part was ordered, the company notified me with a phone call and email and we set up a time to have the part installed. Again, it was in just a few days. But, also again, Justin was a little late. I think it's a little hard for them to get up this far north on time. But, once again, he got here about 1215 and took off his shoes at the door, and got right to work. It was all finished in a half hour. He made sure we didn't have any questions before he left and also made sure we knew to call in the future with any questions. Professional and very pleasant.
Description of Work: Have a Viking beverage fridge that quit working. Had to use a Viking authorized repair service. D-3 came out, assessed the problem, ordered the part (computer), returned and installed. All covered under Viking warranty, so no charge for anything.

I called the company where I bought the stove and they sent D-3-A-OK Appliance Svc Ctr Inc out. They were warranted through the company where I bought the stove. They were pretty prompt to respond. I was very pleased with them; but actually there was nothing they could do and I guess it had to do with the stove itself. I guess it is something that goes on with gas stoves. When I have them on simmer, the flame goes out and the gas keeps coming out. The person who came out felt that there was a graft or something that was causing it to happen. He adjusted the flame on it, but there was nothing else he could do. I guess I have to live with it and be a little more careful about putting it on simmer and watch it. I didn't have to pay anything as it was through warranty.

They were cheaper than what we expected. It was the electronic device that was gone. He also cancelled the cost of one service visit. We have used them for about 10 years. They will be the only company I will call. They like to tell you what they did and what they did. These people are enthusiastic about what they do. They are also kind to my animals which is a big thing with me. We have dealt with this company for 10 years and they have always replaced whatever part is necessary and got the appliance working. We have had times with them when they would not charge us for visits if they don't get it right the first time. They go above and beyond what appliance companies require to do. Their service men are prompt, clean, friendly, and enthusiastic. They know their job very well.
Description of Work: I used D-3-A-OK Appliance Service Center INC in May to repair the doors of my washing machine. I have a front load washing machine and it was not locking properly. They came to find out what was wrong and what needed replacement. They had to order a new part for it.

Another company recommended them to me; but it turned out that they were the only people that would drive up the mountains. In fact, this company comes out only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This can be a problem, if we are ordering a part because we are going to wait at least a couple of days and probably at least a week from the return. They said that they were going to be here at 8'o clock, they showed up at that time. They work pretty quickly. They charged me $135 just for a service call; I think that's a little steep. Everybody charges money to come up here to the mountains, so that's something we have to live with.
Description of Work: D3a Ok Appliance Service replaced a line that went from the condenser to some other part of the refrigerator that had rusted through, and they also replaced a fan motor about a month ago.

A wheel on our Amana refrigerator cracked as we rolled it out due to a pencil jammed underneath. Michael from D-3 was assigned to repair it. It turned out to be an extremely difficult repair! Michael ended up having to completely restructure the wheel bracket, creating his own solution to the problem. He was determined to fix the wheel, no matter how hard he had to research or how much he had to persist. Each time Michael came out, he cleaned up the entire area completely. He was on time, pleasant, and professional. The work was done to perfection. We've used D-3 Appliance Repair for over 30 years and have always had positive experiences. I highly recommend their service!

Description of Work: My washing machine was making a knocking noise. When they arrived it wasn't making the noise. They took their time to try and get it to make the noise again - after 10 min or so it started making the noise. They gave me an estimate and told me I had 30 days to decide if I wanted to have the work done.
