Kathy Banks is thorough, reliable, and puts her owners ahead of tenants. She was slightly more expensive than the PM a neighbor used (which charged 8% of rent) but worth the cost-- my neighbor had 2yrs of nightmares with her tenant and home and sold her home rather than dealing with it anymore. And all she could say to me was that she wished she had gone with A-1. For the extra 2% we have peace of mind knowing that our home will be waiting for us in great condition when we finally return. Rent checks are deposited like clockwork and we are pleased knowing our home is in good hands. I would recommend A-1 to anyone looking for a
property manager.
We hired Kathy 3 Nov. Showings began 7 Nov. House would become available 1 Dec. Tenants were identified and moved in by mid-December. The rent amount was higher than all comparable in our area offering the same living space.
At the initial meeting, A1Home Management outlines measures taken to ensure tenants Pay on time and care for your property (inside and out). Kathy also provides information on resources every homeowner should have in their back pocket when renting their property. You will hear the zeal she has in finding the right tenants.
When the house is renting, Kathy collects 10% of the rent amount and sends an itemized list of expenses. Expenses the owner approved;). She'll have pictures of your property available on a monthly basis. The rent monies will be deposited by the 10th of every month. Tenants receive random passes for bowling events, coupon books, etc from Kathy as a way of staying in touch and showing her appreciation.
If you are a homeowner and your property isn't managed by A1Home Management, please meet with Kathy. You can't afford not too!
