Michael and his crew were AMAZING! He called when he said he would, he showed when he said he would and was pleasant and professional! I would give him a 10 rating if it were an option!! I wish I could post before and after pictures on here - I would HIGHLY recommend Michael.

I really appreciate the work that these guys did everything came out better than I expected. It was very refreshing seeing hard work and care being put into my project especially from his apprentice! I would definitely refer and hire them again.

He was way over-qualified for my little job, but he treated it like it was important, and delivered his best work, cleaning up as he went, consulting with me along the way. I only wish I had another project more deserving of his worthy talents. What a great guy!

Michael was great to work with. He came to the house to give us a bid within a couple days. Material was ordered and work completed within a couple weeks. We even had a material issue from the supplier that Michael handled and got us taken care of working around our schedule. Would definitely use Anything in Wood again.

Michael was hired to tear out/replace/stain a new stairway in my home. I hired Michael/Anything is Wood because of the positive reviews on this site, & because he had an insurance policy. He was paid 4,048.41 IN FULL before the job began so he could get materials & pay his sub. That was a big mistake. Michael and his crew installed stairs that were documented under code, the workmanship was shoddy and his sub/finisher botched the finishing work and used exterior house stain, not at all appropriate for inside a home. All of this is documented with images and details. Michael's sub ended up giving him 2K to fix our issue and make it right and re-install, but Michael refused to resolve this situation and walked off the job even though he was paid in full & got additional $ from his subcontractor. The kicker too is he never installed balusters so I had a staircase open with 2 toddlers in the home and mesh netting stapled up for months. After weeks of haggling Michael told me to sue him to resolve, and I had to spend a ton of time taking this contractor to small claims court. NOT REPUTABLE! I seriously question his positive reviews, see for yourself.

They did a wonderful job on my stairs. They are beautiful, safe and secure! The railings are now secure as well. Very professional service, good estimate and timing for the reapairs. I would recommend them to anyone with stair or railing issues.

Michael Saparo was very professional and kept me informed every step of the way. It was very refreshing to have a contractor call me for each appointment and let me know he was on his way, rather than waiting for hours and wondering if they were going to show up.
