We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.
I had a great first experience with Action Appliance. The water filter in my refrigerator was stuck; I couldn't remove it. I contacted them on a Wednesday evening, and they were able to schedule my repair the next day. Dion showed up early (which is always positive in my book), and he was able to do the repair in a short period of time. I thought the price was reasonable for the work performed, mostly because Dion saved me the frustration of trying to fix the problem myself. Dion discussed with me some other services Action Appliance provides, and I plan to use them again next month when it's time to get the furnace up and running again. I recommend Action Appliance.

The service tech told us the replacement part for our dishwasher is no longer available from the manufacturer and that he would check his shop for the part and call us back. The rep charged us $54.95 for the trip charge and the follow up call never came. Today we had the dishwasher repaired by a factory tech. We feel like being scammed by Action Appliance

The tech was great, the customer service rep was great, knowledge was spot on. Only knock is that they were expensive. Charged me $270 to fix a small part. Took him 20 minutes from arrival to departure.

I m honestly appalled that Home Advisor has this company on their site. Wish I would ve done more research on the company before hiring them, they have dozens of open complaints on the BBB. They replaced 2 fuses in our AC, didn t inform us how much it would be prior to performing the work, then charged us over $600. Absolutely ridiculous, I ve gone back and forth with their office staff for several weeks and they just keep telling me that is the average cost of an AC repair. How can you charge an average? It should be based on the work performed, fuses cost like $10 and the guy was here for about half and hour so not labor intensive at all. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! And apparently you should also not necessarily trust the pros on home advisor like I did, it was an extremely expensive mistake on my part, do your homework. I ll be looking elsewhere for contractors from now on, shame on you HomeAdvisor.

Ice dispenser stopped working on refrigerator. Tech looked up replacement part and quoted $500 . Found same part on Amazon for a little over $100. Should have got a second estimate, but surprised at this kind of price gouging since I used Home Advisor

I called about 5PM and they made the appointment to fix my freezer the next morning. I had called Sears (Kenmore Freezer) the earliest Sears could come was Sept 7. I will not call Sears again. The problem was a sensor, Action was able to get the freezer running to keep the food frozen until get the part. They are going to put it in today. They are very friendly and hear what you say.

I am following up an initial review I left of Action Appliance on 8/18/19. Our AC broke during a heat wave and we needed to get it fixed immediately. We went with Action Appliance because Home Advisor connected me directly to them and they could come the next day. They came out and gave us a fixed price quote, refusing to break it down into what we were actually paying for in regards to labor, parts, services, etc. What we did know was that the price included diagnostics of the issue and fixing what was wrong with the AC/furnace. With an infant under 6 months and our house at 85 degrees, we didn't have many options so we moved forward. Our AC died again 2 days later. They sent a different technician out who diagnosed a new problem and told us it would be another $500 to fix it. The technician continued that he actually thought we just needed a completely new unit and began to run through pricing of that option. We have since filed a complaint with the BBB and are awaiting response from the company (coming up on 60 days). Do not hire this company. They refuse to explain what you are actually paying for and engage in underhanded practices to take advantage of you.

Rescheduled repair appointment in favor of another customer, refrigerator problem. Awful company, came out to my house and gave me a quote on my fridge and was told I would receive a breakdown via email. Never got the email and did different work than desired because of this, replaced a hinge that broke within 3 weeks as well as not solving any of my problems despite coming out multiple times. Terrible customer service was one the phone with many different incompetent representatives only to be given an out of service number they claimed belonged to their technician. Waste of money would not recommend to anyone, wish I had my money back. You are better off buying a new appliance.

My experience started off rough, as the Tech went to the wrong address. Instead of doing some due diligence, the Tech left the property for his next assignment. After several phone calls with the Customer agents, he finally arrived later that afternoon. While fixing my washing machine, he opted to look at my water heater and dryer. I m not sure if this is common practice of up selling additional repairs, but that was my perception. The follow up call, I added a repair for my dishwasher. Which called for a new part. After installing the new part, within 2 days, the same problem has occurred. So another service call was scheduled for Friday morning (9am-1pm). Their Business Standard Window of arrival. Several phone calls later, at 3:30pm, I was notified that my service call would need to be rescheduled. Due to ALL Technicians we re still on their first morning appointments! Hmmm.... When I voiced my concern, inquired about their escalation process, the agent advised that I could call the general phone line, no one has direct phone lines and to ask for Rochelle. A new appointment has been scheduled for Wednesday morning, same 9am-1pm window. I asked the agent, when scheduling the new appointment, what would be done differently to prevent the same issue? At that point the Agent suggested an afternoon appointment??? Hmmm If morning appointments are back logged and service standards are missed, appointments rescheduled, when would an afternoon appointment ever be completed? We shall see...
