We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.

2.5 houras late for 12-4 time slot without any communication in the meantime. Service man blamed the dispatcher and the dispatcher blamed the service man for no communication. I should not have to call my repair service when they are late for an update.

Originally I had another company out and was told by their tech that the motor may be going bad but the AC compressor needed a cleaning. Tech did that and got AC running. Paid $200 to have it cleaned (I could have done better with a squirt gun. I have pics. System failed again and to make a long story short I contacted Action through Home Advisors. Joshua, the tech came out in 3 hours and went through system and explained alternatives. Since Joshua was so knowledgeable and professional I had the entire AC system replaced, which did cost thousands of dollars. The replacement started that day and was completed the next day. I now have a better system that is much quieter and runs less. In addition, the install crew told me exactly what they were going to do and did it. They were also meticulous in cleaning up and explaining how to operate the system. I feel that I got a fair price for the system installed so I signed up for a maintenance contract as I wanted Action to maintain my system.

I am not sure what the usual cost is for the job that was done. I do know that the cost of the parts was approximately $75.00. The total cost was $650.00 for about an hours work. If this is the going rate, then I have nothing to complain about. The tech was very good and represented his company well.

I wish they were minus stars. They came to diagnose the oven but they couldn't unlock the doors. Then the $55 diagnostic trip became $198 to unlock it and made me sign a waiver in case they damage the oven. At the end he couldn't unlock it so couldn't diagnose it and he said he was going to come another day with another person but he still made me pay $55 dollars. After he left I unlocked the doors and diagnosed my oven.

I had them come out to check on why my Maytag dryer just stopped working. Turned out to be the electrical panel and since it is so old the entire thing needs to be replaced. The entire time I felt pressured to purchase it he also tried to tell me my water heater was going out. I was very clear that I had a short window on the day of installation because my roommate was going to help and if that cannot be met then we needed to do it on Saturday when I am home. He assured me they would be at my house between 8:30 and 9 that I would be the first call and it would take 2 to 3 hours tops to complete. Day of installation, I called at 9 to get an ETA and was told the tech made the window 8 to 10, which is not correct it should have been 8 to 12. This is not what I was told and if the tech had been honest I could have just scheduled it for Saturday instead of bothering my roommate. I explained that I would not have scheduled with a 4-hour window, which is what I explained to the tech when we scheduled it. She said oh ok they will be there before 10. 9:30 I get a call telling me it will be 45 minutes to an hour now 2 hours past the time I was counting on due to my roommate. I called back and asked for a supervisor, manager, or the owner. I was asked if they could help. I said no thank you, I would like to speak to a supervisor, manager, or the owner. She said they were on a call and could she take a message. I said no thanks I can wait. She tried again to take a message and I asked when she would be available and I would just call back. She says under her breath, rude. I believe her name was Ashley. I said I am not being rude I asked to speak to a manager and you calling me rude just made the situation worse. I was not willing to give my name and number to this person especially after being called rude. I decided a review will do just fine. Customer service was less than good and the tech made me feel like I was at a car dealership being harassed by a salesperson. The tech did show up at 10 am on the dot, still 1 to 1.5 hours later than I had been told. At 1, he had to leave to go to a famous home appliance store and would be another hour after he returned. That makes it almost 5 hours to complete the job not 3 tops. Overall, this experience was frustrating, stressful, and very time consuming. I would not recommend this company.

Customer service and answering the phone is there strong suite. and the Tech and Service folks that go out are completely swamped. They are obviously paid on what they charge you, so their focus is on one thing which is getting the most money out of you. They are not there to just fix something that is not going to cost much money and be on their way, and that's the problem.
