We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.
I hired action appliance to go out to my property and diagnose the problem they said they would charge $54.99 and just let me know what was wrong with the washing machine so I could decide if I wanted to repair or just go ahead and replace unit - they called me said they fixed the problem and would charge me $165.

They were very prompt, easy to communicate with. The technician came out after 6:00 on a weekday and fixed the problem with our gas stove. I like that they have technicians who are knowledgeable about fixing anything in our home. We will definitely use them again!

Tech did diagnosis and determined thermostat sensor needed to be replaced. I paid $55 for diagnosis. Tech did not have part and provided quote to replace part for $255 and was going to get back to me on Monday with date to schedule repair, but never got call from Action with date. I looked up part on appliancepartspro.com and it was priced at $20, so I ordered it. However, when I replaced it, washer would not work. I discovered that a wire to the sensor had been cut (very suspicious). After I fixed that the washer worked. I will never use this company due to outrageous repair prices and suspicious repair tactics.

I wish I could recommend these folks, but their pricing practice is out of hand. They wanted $280 for a dryer belt and a nylon roller. I found the exact item on Amazon for $50. The total came to $440 to repair my dryer and to the technicians credit, he did a great job of cleaning up after the job, and tried his best to get a better price for me. Just as a side-note, this company knows how to get you to commit to their pricing. They will take apart your machine and place the parts strategically throughout the room so it looks as though the job is daunting and has to be done by them at that moment or it will never get put together properly.

make sure you get an estimate in writing.. These guys did not show up for two straight appointments and both times I had to call and find out where they were. furthermore, they twice cancelled the inspection and didnt leave a signed inspection form for xcel energy to use to verify the inspection. Bottomline: a gas leak that should have been repaired in three days max took two weeks.

Joe a super nice guy ,intelligent,The work I requested was done. But , time will tell on any service call. I do have a question, He installed a air filter at a angel , I have never ever seen a air filter installed this way. They have always fit in a tight track.

Katherine the receptionist, called me immediately after receiving your alert. She was professional, yet warm and very understanding regarding my predicament. She was able to get a technician to my house that very same day, (yesterday). Juan, the technician was excellent. He was on time, diagnosed the problem easily, had the parts on his truck and was able to fix my fridge all in one trip. I've never had this kind of professional and immediate service from Sears.
