He got the materials for us at a great rate, delivered the materials, & made sure we had the proper permits. He oversaw the whole process & organized the crew so that we could donate the insurance money for the repair to our church for ministry outreach! He's a straight up guy, no-nonsense, very honest without a doubt.
Description of Work: He handled a repair on our roof. He also did the whole roof & the window installation for our church.

Ken Colaizzi of Secure-All and John Ziska of Ziska Construction came to my house and measured and talked to me about what I wanted as far as door design (what kind of window, what kind of hardware). Since they worked together I can't really follow the rule about not referring to more than one company in this review. Received by email from Ken a proposal, which I spent the next couple days getting more specifics about as far as model numbers and making sure everything was in writing. This was all done by email. I agreed to everything and paid a $600 deposit. About four weeks later I was informed that the door had arrived and would be painted and we set up an appointment for installation. This was a pre-hung door installation, which was my only choice, which was fine with me. Ken came out a day prior to door installation and removed the existing storm door so the primary door could be installed. Then Josh the installer came with a helper and removed the old primary door and installed the new one. Installed the wrong casing which I didn't know till they were done since I was busy working from home and they put up some plastic around them to contain dust and debris, so I couldn't see what was going on on the inside. John came by and said the hardware didn't work for some reason, so he'd have to come back later and try again. The old hardware was re-installed in the interim. Josh came back a couple days later and installed the proper casing. John came back a couple days later on a Saturday and installed the hardware except for the hinges because of some problem with them. Ken came back after the initial door installation and re-installed the storm door. It works a lot better than it used to -- the key doesn't feel like it's going to break when I turn it in the lock.I emailed Ken a couple weeks later to ask about the hinges because I hadn't heard anything, and Josh came the next day and installed them. These minor glitches didn't really cause me any inconvenience and they were addressed to my satisfaction. The door is beautiful and the installation appears to be top notch. Some spray foam was used on the outside for insulation, everything was caulked and siliconed and I didn't have to perform any touch-up at all. I asked for a transition piece on the inside because the step up to the threshold on the inside appeared high to me, plus it exposed scarring on the sheet vinyl flooring, so they used a quarter-round baseboard and it looks good. I did not get multiple price quotes, but the cost was about what I expected and I imagine it was competitive. Everyone was a pleasure to work with and I'm happy with the outcome. Will probably ask them to replace my front door now including a new storm door from Secure-All.
Description of Work: Replace door that goes from kitchen to patio. Showed up when promised! Asked questions and took as well as offered suggestions. Very courteous and professional. They demo'd 2 of my bathrooms and made them into one. They cleaned up before leaving every day. It was a big project but they were on top of everything. We did some of the work ourselves and they helped steer us in the right direction. The bathroom is now almost completed and looks great.
Description of Work: We had them demo 2 bathrooms and make them into one big one. Took the walls down, tubs out, floors out-everything and started from the bare rafters. We did the build up ourselves and a little over a year later we are 98% done!
