Just perfect

I went up on the roof to check the finished job, I noticed a long line of clear chalking. I asked what it was, I was told the calking gun was leaking, I ran my finger across the line and could see it was a large tear, after it was patched, there was a large rock under the paper, they had to cut the rock out and patch that as well. The trim piece had a large gap at the roof line, this would allow rain water to pool, I asked them to silicone chalk the 10' gap to let the water run off. The main house had a quote to replace 4 tiles, when we went up on the roof, we counted 26 in need of replacement. This was a simple job that should have had a much greater sense of detail, it makes me wonder if they could handle a bigger job, the re-roof was 160 sq. ft and should have been done much better.

They placed me on their work list and arrived earlier than the next rain to make the repairs. The workers were not day laborers, they were neat, courteous and performed the work as specified. Their communications with the customer was excellant.

He hasn't done the work yet. Therefore I shouldn't have to rate him for that. He is the first person that seemed to know what he was doing. The others all seemed like con-artists! I have been VERY unhappy with the referrals I have received from Home Advisors. One contractor who was reffered to me was having his license removed by the Contractor's License Board! This was repair work on a tile roof. Not everything fits into your catagories. The skylight was leaking and there were some other problems.

Kevin D. (818) 419-9417 was our project manager. He did an awesome job as well as his crew. We had a total replacement roofing job that required three layers of old shingles removed and a new roof put on. Very pleasant to deal with, good communication, great pricing, and job done quickly. So nice to not have to worry about leaks any more.

You'll never find a group of more hardworking, trustworthy, efficient, and punctual people anywhere. Great teamwork was exhibited throughout the company. Wonderful communication as well. Great value overall!

Santiago from specialty construction "repaired" my roof leak in 10 minutes and I was charged $250.00! When I questions that it seems very steep to charge $250.00 for a 10 minute fix he replied "I have to drive all the way from downtown Los Angeles". I asked him for a receipt and he said he would e-mail it to me. That was a week ago and I still have not received it! I called the owner 4 days ago and told him i thought it was unprofessional that his repair guy didn't carry a receipt book with him and I am still waiting for him to e-mail me my receipt! He said he would send me one. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A RECEIPT! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY!

The roofers were very good, but Julio said he would call to let us know if the job would be on Saturday or Sunday. I never got a phone call and called Jennifer on Saturday. She said she would try to contact the contractor. I did not get a response from anyone in the company. The roofers arrived here at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday without a phone call first. My husband and I were still sleeping. Our dog woke us up, and if it wasn't for her, we might not have heard the doorbell or a knock since our bedroom is in the back of the house.

Julio was very up front and he did not try to up sell with non essential services. The service and the work were excellent and we highly reccomend Specialty Construction for any of your roofing needs.

Sales folk are knowledgeable and concerned that the job is what you need and want. The company has crews for different parts of the job and all are hard working courteous people. Every aspect is organized and timely.

I was impressed by this contractor, since he pointed out that the roof did not need to be replaced yet. He replaced shingles on a part of the roof where wind had loosened some. He will definitely be on my list to do the complete job in a few years.

His company had a great price and was the most professional. Done on time, clean, looks great and he had the best options. He also was more familiar with the current laws for the area regarding ventilation. His crew was professional and they painted everyting they said they wood as well as moved and reinstallled my TV dish and made sure it was working. Now I can relay about the rain for the next thirty years. Glen
