Scott and his team were amazing. I had about 1200sqft of floor done. From the front room to the master bedroom. No more carpeting in this house. They did all the demo, leveling and then installing of a new hardwood. It took 7 whole days to complete. When they left my house was new. All the clean up was done. Very professional craftsman.

They came on time and did a nice job. Only caveat, was a few rough pieces of something stuck in the varnish. The floors look good.

Great! Scott's crew did an absolutely marvelous job. They removed wall-to-wall carpeting, installed a new sub floor and laminated board. The new floor has transformed the room. I can't stop gazing at it. From now on I will only use Scott and his company, Olde Time Floor. I highly recommend.

These guys were great. We hired them after having 2 other companies come out to give us a bid on the work. Scott from old tyme flooring came out and was very patient he did a complete walk through of our house and spent the time explaining to us the types of wood and colors. Scott came back with a great price it. We heard a lot of great reviews on the company. We hired Scott and his guys to do the work. They did a magnificent job from start to finish. His guys were on time and very helpful when we asked them questions. They also left our house spotless.

The most condescending, rude vendor I have ever dealt with. He criticized and corrected every single thing I said until I finally asked him to leave. Then the verbal assault began with him yelling at me and calling me offensive names because I wouldn't deal with him anymore. When I initially talked to him he was cagey about scheduling and wouldn't confirm a time or day. I feel like I should have known but who could anticipate a crazy person being a so called service provider? Obviously going with one of the many other available providers that are not insane.

Scott gave me a second opinion on a flooring issue I had and was incredibly responsive and professional. He spent much more time than I expected walking me through several questions I had and even came out to look at our floors. He was very honest and forthright. He was in a position where he could have disparaged the job we had done by someone else in order to try to get himself more business but instead he gave us an honest opinion that wasn't going to necessarily lead to him getting work from us. Even knowing he may not even get a job out of it, he still spent almost 45 minutes talking to me (after having spent at least 30 minutes on the phone). I could tell right away that he's trustworthy, extremely helpful, very detail oriented and cares a lot about his work product. I will definitely be using him for future flooring needs and would recommend him just based on my limited, very positive experience with him.

Scott and his team are the best. We'd initially hired a BIG NAME company to install our floors because they were very cheap and promised to make it easy.. and we soon regretted it. They didn't keep their promises (you get what you pay for!), and left me and my very pregnant wife hanging. We found Old Tyme Floor Company online, and their great reviews made me call, and I'm so happy I did. Scott answered all of my questions, and kept all of his promises. His team was very considerate of my wife being in her third trimester and stuck at home, and made sure she was always comfortable and left the house clean every night. Mind you, they aren't the cheapest quote you're going to find, but I'm confident you're going to be happy with the results, and they will always be fair with what they charge. I've had 4 different contractors and companies work in my house in the last year, and Scott was by far the best experience we've had. If you are looking for someone that will always return your phone calls, will come out to check on the progress, and will give you a proper evaluation of the project up front, then look no further. You really need to call Old Tyme Floor!

It went very well and the communication between ourselves the installation team and Scott was top notch.

I feel like I have a new house. The wood is beautiful and they did a great job of working with all of the little quirks of my house, including that awful floor heater. Scott was so responsive and reliable, I never had to track him down or hound him as so often happens with contractors! His team of installers were not just hard-working, but downright artistic in how they laid the floors. In short, Scott did everything he said he'd do, when he said he'd do it, and for the price we agreed on. I recommend him without any hesitation whatsoever.

This is the team you want for wood floors in your house. These guys are top-notch. After getting quotes from several different companies, the customer service and rapport we had with Scott made our discussion easy. They moved all of our furniture into a container and back in place when the job was done. Our original floors were from the 1940’s. These floors were refinished along with putting the same wood in our family room and master bedroom. You cannot tell where the old floors stopped and the new floors were added. The team was very professional, timely, neat and a joy to work with.

There crew was outstanding. They know what they are doing and work very hard to provide the best floor to us. I can't say enough about there workmanship.

Cant say enough good things about the overall experience and working with Scot and his team. It is never fun to have to basically relocate our living area for weeks, but Scot and his team made it as easy as possible. Starting with removing the furniture to a storage area (our garage), and then working quickly to complete the work. His team was prompt, so nice and left the space looking clean each night. The floors we had were a more exotic wood and hand distressed. Initially I was skeptical as to whether he and the team would be able match the look we had, but he delivered and the floors look fantastic. If you have floor repairs or replacement I highly recommend Olde Tyme and Scot. Scot was also helpful in providing recommendations for other work that needed to be done as part of the process of replacing the floors (e.g., painting baseboard and walls). The folks he recommended were ones he had worked with previously and paid as much attention to detail as he and his team.

Scott Schneider his crew are very professional, caring and always willing to please Scott sincerely cares about his clients. He always listens, before he started the project, Scott brought some of his crew. To meet us and introduce us to some crew that would be working. Twice during the project he stopped. By to make sure everything was going well. He also came by at the end of the project. We will call him for sure if needed and refer his co. to other. Exceeded expectations to the fullest. This company is a gem. From start to finish the project went smoothly and the finished product was top notch. Scott the owner was very personable, professional and experienced. He gives you options, suggestions, and makes you feel he is looking out for your best interest. Throughout the process he was responsive in a timely manner via email or phone. His staff or should I say... Craftsmen are pleasant and do great work. Example, we needed to blend and area between our family room & dining room. Unfortunately the wood we used 10 years ago was discontinued, so we had to use a close match from a different manufacture. The result was as good as you could get from two different shades of flooring. Also, we had a few areas that needed reducers and they made custom fit ones from our wood planks. Again... The result was perfect. Will definitely refer them and use in the future.

Olde Tyme did the other wood floors in January. Because it is winter, it took a little longer than expected, however, the job was so nice, I decided to do the game room as well. Love my darkened floors! Thank you Scott and Cesar!

Excellent and professional work from beginning to end of job. Great communication at all stages of work. The workers really know their trade and do excellent work. I highly recommend Olde Tyme Flooring. Their price was reasonable and lower than three other estimates I had obtained.

It went great. The floors were done very professionally and in a timely manner and they looked excellent. Scott is an easy person to deal with and he is very honest and up front. He isn't the cheapest option, as Scott himself says, but his people do fine work which Scott is right on top of and stands behind.

I had an issue with my floor boards coming up (old engineered floor) and called about 12 different flooring places to see who could help fix this issue. Most folks said I'd need to replace the entire thing!! Thank god I called Scott at Olde Tyme, who coached me through fixing it myself. It seemed like he enjoyed the challenge where others had failed. I didn't actually need anyone to do the work, just some good instructions on what to buy, and step by step on how to make it all work. I did it, and it worked great. About a week later, and to my surprise, Scott called me back to see how it went. He's just that kind of guy! Anyway, if I ever do need a floor, I will be calling these guys for sure.

The wood flooring looks really nice in both rooms. Scott was extremely helpful and responsive, sending samples of the laminate flooring by text, and pointing out potential problem areas. He was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions patiently and objectively without trying to upsell us. We needed to have baseboards replaced in the kitchen, and they constructed new ones to match the cabinets. They also found unexpected floor damage and sent pictures to show us the problems. We were out of town when the work was performed, but we trusted Scott and his crew totally, and when we returned, the floors were finished beautifully and the house was clean and dust free. I was very pleased with the service from Olde Tyme Floor C. I had purchased my own hardwood flooring and had difficulties finding someone to install it because of insurance or some other reasons. Scott and his crew came out on a Sunday and did the work in one day. They had to come back to install the t-moulding because I didn't have it when they came the first time. The crew came out without any problems when I did receive the pieces needed to finish the job. The floor looks amazing. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves and arrived at the agreed time. I would definitely use this company again.

The frame was a mid-century style design made of black powder-coated C-section steel channel and while simple and elegant in appearance, required some very detailed and difficult woodworking to fit and secure the treads so that fasteners remained invisible and bottom edges of the oak treads were chamfered to sit properly. Scott was a genuine pleasure to work with and his craftsmen were utterly reliable, professional and the work was absolutely superior. Most highly recommended, and the price was extremely fair.

Olde Tyme's family business sent its son to consult with us about hardwood floor protection. We are renters and trying to protect the new hardwood floors in this rental house. We also would like to get a dog. We ran thru how to protect generally the floors with or without a dog, what size dog was likely to do damage no matter how much preparation we took. It gave us a good sense of what we should/could expect from the homeowner if we proceeded with getting a dog and then got fined with redoing the floors. Many worthwhile tips were given that most people would never have thought of. Bottom line though was that a dog over 50 pounds would likely scratch the floors no matter what steps we put into place. Old Tyme is the company we would use for its professionalism and high standards. We felt that we were getting tips from a pro.
