They were great! I contacted Terry who had me take pictures and text them to him. He definitely knows his stuff. He knew exactly what kind of doors I have (Arcadia). He said they were very expensive, well-made doors but over the years (house was built in 1965) the rollers wear out. Anyway, they came out and did the repairs and the doors are amazing. I can now move them with my pinky finger! No more struggling to open and close them. Sure beats having to replace them. If you need such service, contact them. I'm very happy!!!

The workmanship was top notch. Once he was on site, the door was fixed quickly and worked better than we had imagined. They will also work on Sunday, a real convenience for us. The business relationship was weak. There was a communication gaff between us and the workman that started us on the wrong foot. We both nearly walked away from the deal. Fortunately, they have a great book keeper who acted as an intermediary.

It was a no show for my first appoint, a week earlier. When I called at the end of the appointment window, I was told that a medical emergency had arisen. I rescheduled for the next weekend. They arrived on time, went straight to work and had the slider working like new in less than 30 minutes. There was grit, sand, etc., when they left that I had to vacuum up. The slider does work like new. I have used this company in the past and would use them again in the future. I gave them a B on price, as I think they are a little expensive. They might want to have a cordless hand vacuum with them. Two gentlemen came this time, they were both very professional and pleasant.

With Angie's list's top rating, I called immediately. Having never had to repair a sliding door, they were great! In and out in no time -- prepared with all parts, knowledge, and professionalism. Highly recommend!

Although Terry couldn't help me himself with my leaking sliding glass door, he was the first person out of the three I contacted to call me. He spent time with me on the phone, looked at pictures I texted him and gave me the name and phone number of someone who could help. Very helpful!

It went very well. I was pleased with the courtesy as well as the proficiency of the work. My sliding glass doors works better than when it was initially put in, very smooth.

Gino and an assistant arrived, and had the doors fixed in just a few minutes.The doors now slide with the push of a single finger. We are very pleased with the results.

The initial repair went ok, but door was immovable 2 days later. Terry, the owner of the company came out to my house personally to make the additional repair...I'm not exactly sure what was wrong, but he sprayed it with silicone spray + adjusted it + it was then working perfectly. It was a bit of a hassle to have to get them to come out a 2nd time instead of getting it done in one fell swoop, but I am still giving them an A rating because Terry's crew was so nice, and he personally made sure everything was working properly asap after I contacted the company to tell them I had a problem with the initial repair that had been done.

Great! The technician who I believe is the owner was on time, knowledgeable, and professional. They did a fantastic job and I believe our door works better than it did when brand new. They left the old parts so I could see them as my wife was home when they did the work. This is their specialty so I guess the lesson is if you can find an expert in what you need done, go with it. This was well worth the charge and I would not hesitate to use this California Sliding Door Repair again!

Terry is a true craftsman. We had a problem with the side and rollers for our patio sliding door. I called Terry on a Sunday afternoon and he offered to come to the house that afternoon. I said we could wait until Monday, which we did. Terry asked us to e-mail him some photos so he could diagnose the problem before he got to the house. He and his assistant Pat showed up on time, fixed the problem in one hour, which was what he estimated it would take. These guys really know what they're doing and the price was very, very fair. Great! I made an appointment for an afternoon when my husband would be home. The time came and went and I didn't hear from them. I very perturbed as I've been having problems with service people. That evening I got. Very apologetic phone call from the company saying that they had a truck breakdown and wasn't able to make could she come first thing in the morning before we left for work. I agreed and she arrived on time and quickly repaired the door. She refused payment because of the problem the day before! I will be having them come back to replace the old tracks!

I had a lot of questions prior to booking the appointment. I was impressed by their professionalism and gladly addressed my concerns and offered the Angies List discount immediately. Two men were needed for this repair because my doors were extra large and heavy. These two men had a pleasant demeanor and got to work immediately. I watched them work and were focused, thorough, knowledgeable and well mannered . I was concerned about the post Angie's List made about them not being CA contractors but I was made to feel confident by the phone staff and the 2 workers were amazing. I will call them again in the future!!!

They provided a new metal track and door wheels. The problem seemed so simple I don't know why I waited so long. They guys who came are old and gimpy but they sure do know their stuff and they were professional and thorough. Easy experience, would call them again in a heartbeat.

Scheduling the appointment was very easy. They arrived on time and finished very quickly. The servicemen were very pleasant. I would definitely recommend or hire them again.

Called 30 minutes out. Arrived on time. Assessed the situation. Fixed the door in under 30 minutes. The door works great. Both Terry and his assistant were very friendly and showed me exactly what they were going to do to fix the issue. I gave a "B" on price as I don't know if $250 is a good price or not. Seems a little high, but they came to my home, on time, left everything clean and the door works like new. I am going to have Terry come back and replace the fogged glass in another sliding patio door off of a different room. After Terry's response to my review, I double checked what I paid for the service. Terry is correct, I paid $200. Not $250.

Resolved. Found problem, fixed it. ps. Came on a Saturday within in 2 hours of my first call. much appreciated.

Terry responded to my message promptly. Even though screen doors are not his business, he researched a bid and sent it to me with the honest note that I could do better. Then he called me with the name of a provider who was excellent - A-1 Home Improvement and they came out the next day. Excellent customer service from Terry. Reminds of the scene in Miracle on 34th Street when Macy's recommends customers to Gimble's when they don't have a product. You can't do better than that for customer service, right? I will definitely reach out to Terry when our sliding door needs work.

Terry came out to estimate the job which I thought I would originally have new sliders put onto my closet door. I thought the old ones were just intentionally heavy doors which made it hard to open. However, Terry said it can be repaired (same with glass sliding patio door) and I would be able to open them with a finger. His crew came out the following week. They were very professional and did a great job. Terry was right! We can open both doors just using one finger! We suffered so many years with difficult to open doors. I wish we did it much sooner. I would recommend them very highly.

We had been putting off getting this door fixed because we thought we might have to replace the whole door. It wouldn't slide and also the lock no longer worked. I emailed Terry on a Saturday, we talked Sunday, his assistant called again on Tuesday and by Thursday morning it was all done. They ended up only needing to replace the rollers and the track at the top. I had sent Terry a picture so he was able to tell me right away what the problem was and give me a quote. We had originally scheduled them to come on Friday, but then they were able to come Thursday, so we got done a day earlier. I only wish we had done this many years and cans of WD40 ago!
