 + -1 moregave good ideas for maintaining it myself and maybe an upgrade down the road, was pleasant and easy to talk to ,recommendation on a bigger unit to keep electric bill down ( house is 2,000 sq ft ) so unit isn't always trying to keep up .
Description of Work: Cleaned interior and exterior of rooftop air conditioner ,checked freon levels ,checked seals and major components for wear

 + -1 moreHe returned my call and stopped by. He fixed the problem, serviced the unit and came up with solution to improving it( 2 story house).
Description of Work: It was a Saturday, and he was the 3rd company I called (air conditioner not working).

Description of Work: I had to leave a mesage on an answering machine so I was skeptical that anyone would respond. However, the man called me within one-half hour. He said he was at another job but would come by my house in about one hour, that same day. He arrieved within one hour. He went right up on the roof to check out the air con. He was only up there briefly when he came done and showed me a part that he said was broken and that was why the air con. did not work. He quoted me a price of $128 dollars for the part and labor. While he left to go buy the new part, his co-worker stayed behind and used the hose to clean out the air con. unit so it would perform better. When the head man got back, he was able to install the new part in about 10 minutes. I had air conditioning for the rest of the day. The man, I don't remember his name, was polite appeared knowledgeable. He was also prompt and knew that I did not want to spend a lot of money on the new part and his labor. I would certainly contact him again for any other a/c problems. I will call him in the future if I have any heating problems. I was verey satisfied with the whole experience, and I am a tough one to please!

Description of Work: I left a message since no one picked up. It's been over a day and no one has called back. I picked this company through Angie's List and it scored an A with 1 review (which i think was reviewed by someone who knows the owner) so I gave them a shot. I didn't get any service done since I haven't spoken to anyone but I assume their work is the same.

 + -1 moreThe other companies I called wouldn't do both. This way, I can do one service per year instead of twice. I dealt with the owner, Gus, and he did what he said he was going to do. The price he quoted was exactly what he charged, he was on time, professional, worked quickly, asked permission to use the water hose, he told me what he was doing, very polite, and overall he did an extremely good job. I highly reccomend him.
Description of Work: They serviced my two units, both heating and cooling.
