Description of Work: They came to replace carpet and pad due to water damage from storm. Instead of replacing the whole pad that they said they would, they only did a portion of the pad and spilled some glue that still shows on our carpet. When I called the salesperson, he said that he hates these kinds of jobs since no one is satisfied. Well, with his attitude, I can see why.

Description of Work: We bought some good quality padding from them for under some large, area throw rugs. They were helpful in selecting the padding and in cutting it to size. We used them because of good quality ratings and convenient location to the Westside. I can't compare prices, but guess that they are not the cheapest.

Description of Work: Replaced carpet in family room and in one bedroom. Jim Wagner was very professional and responsive to my needs. Installation crew did a fine job. Although, I paid more than I wanted to, you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I purchased some floor padding through them. When I had came back to pick it up I don’t think it was the padding that I had picked out and wanted. I don’t think it was the same density as what I had originally picked out. It seemed like it was too difficult for them to switch it, so I ended up just getting the one they had switched what I wanted for and I wasn’t happy.

+ 0 moreThis very challenging project went well overall. Installation supervisor Anthony met with us and our electrician at home prior to install to scope the work and coordinate schedules. Their willingness to do this & Anthony's apparent expertise were key to our choice of Barry Carpet. The skilled crew worked hard for 2 wks to complete this labor-intensive job. A few twists along the way: the sales rep left company just before install began. Last minute changes on our part & hidden house problems occurred during the install that cost extra to fix, but we worked them out as we went along. Flexibility & communication between us was key. As for price, I don't know enough to say it was great or not. I know it was similar to other vendors we evaluated and the work done was high-quality, meeting or exceeding our expectations. The end results are beautiful!
Description of Work: Replaced living, dining, kitchen & powder room floors with top quality hardwood floor. First removed old oak & vinyl floor & repaired/leveled old plywood & subfloor. Appliances & doors had to be removed & returned to complete job. Special challenges: lay new floor on 45 degree angle and precision cut 6 holes for floor elec. outlets. Make matching wood "plugs" to hide the outlets when not in use.

She put a personal touch on our experience with them by selecting a rug of design and color that absolutely met my needs. She also helped us pick out paint to match our carpets. Everything was off the charts. They make you feel comfortable when you go in. They very courteous and warm, they're very patient with you. They didn't rush me. It was extremely pleasant.
