Geremi seem to know what he was doing and accomplished the work in a short time. He discovered a leak in the drain line and fixed that with parts from his truck.

The plumber that Overland sent to my house was on time, efficient, friendly and very professional. He explained to me in a clear and simple manner the problem with the leaking pipe and the repair that needed to be done, and made sure that I was comfortable with the proposed repair. The job site was clean after they finished their work.

I really appreciated how well Geremi explained the water heater situaion. He was very thorough and did an excellent job. He spent virtually all morning between fixing problems and running out to get parts for the very, very old home. Would definitely hire him again! Thanks!

Another plumber, Rescue Rooter - LA North did come by and give a lower quote ($280), but they said that if removing the valve cartridge wouldn't work, replacing it would cost us $900. On the other hand, Overland Plumbing gave us an upfront discount (down from some unknown price to $680) to attempt and do the work of replacing the valve cartridge, but if it didn't work, they would replace the valve for the cost of the valve (around $100 estimated). So, we could try someone we hadn't used in the past, and possibly get it for $280, but risk having to pay $900. Or, we could use Overland Plumbing, and pay either $680, or $780. We went with Jeremy from Overland Plumbing, but boy do we wish we had taken the risk with the plumber from Rescue Rooter - LA North? You bet. Thus, a 2/5 stars for value for money. The work was of excellent quality -- so 5 stars for that. Customer service was fine as well (Elena), although he did show up at the upper limit of the time estimate provided.

Very professional, Hugo and is team were timely in completing the job in spite of complications. The plumber explained the procedure and answered any questions I had as the job progressed. The job was extensive, as I had the complete sewer line changed.
