Sam arrived within 2 hours to examine the damage and provide a bid. He and Greg the same afternoon and completed the job. They were quite professional, personable, efficient, and cleaned up the debris afterwards. I would definitely use them again.

We had an excellent experience with Greg and SG Construction. Greg took the time to explain everything to us in detail and even pointed out other issues outside the scope of work that our home inspector had missed. He even went above and beyond by making a minor repair to it as well. Greg was nice, thorough, and his crew was fast! Greg was true to his word throughout the project. We highly recommend their services!

When spring storms destroyed my ridge caps and caused leaks, I quickly realized I would need some work done. Of all the people who came, S.G. were by far the most respectful, helpful, and transparent. From the very beginning, they did not waste my time with needless upsales, they never pressured me, and were transparent about their pricing (the cost of materials and labor) at the outset. Greg was responsive and direct throughout the process. They first offered just ridge cap work and never pressured me into a full re-roof--and when it became obvious during repairs that I would in fact need a new roof, they did at the good price they initially offered at the outset. No BS--just honesty and good work. Greg and Sam will be my first call for any future projects or repairs and I will be enthusiastically recommending them to anyone I know with construction or roofing needs. Thanks again to SG for making a potentially difficult experience a positive one (and for saving me a bunch of money over every other company trying to squeeze every last dime out of me). 10/10

Not easy to identify a small leak in asphalt shingles. Sometimes when you call someone for a repair they will bait and switch and try to sell you a replacement whether needed or not . I got a expert repair

I highly recommend S.G. Roofing and Construction! A family run business with no subcontractors! Honest pricing with great workmanship! A great team that works well together! They respect each other and me as a customer. Greg and Sam as well as their team did a great job putting a second layer of shingles on the back roof of my house and putting in new flashing. They also painted the back side of my house. Great job at a fair price! I will use them again for other projects.

Before choosing to go with S.G. Construction, I had three other quotes for my roof. Each of those companies spent an hour or more inspecting, measuring, and going over so many documents before finally quoting a price and then subsequently lowering it by several THOUSANDS, trying to get us to sign then and there. Greg from S.G. Construction was different. He did not try any high-pressure sales tactics. He did not waste our time going through all kinds of forms and unnecessary selections before we were ready to sign. He inspected the attic, got on the roof and measured, then gave me his true quote, which was quite reasonable. My roof was 27 years old, three layers high, with broken decking, and some rotted out fascia. Greg checked the weather reports, got the dump truck out there the day after the last rain passed through, and immediately set to work on tearing it all down. The most impressive part for me was that he and his crew came out each and every day until the job was done. They were very mindful of my family, letting us know before getting up on the roof each morning, and never came in and out to use the facilities. They set up the inspections in such a way that there was not much down time while waiting for that to be done by the city. They tore it all down, replaced everything that needed replacing, covered the whole thing with plywood, installed the new cool roof with shiny new vents, cleaned and hauled it all away, and threw in a few little extra fixes that tied the new look all together. I cannot recommend S.G. Construction highly enough due to their reasonably priced, high-quality work. I hope to use them for other projects in the near future.

These guys are great. My roof was a disaster, had to be stripped down to the wooden beams. They did a beautiful job, including repairing extensive water damage and dry rot, all at a price that was more than fair. They are consummate professionals and a genuine pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Great customer service. Clearly explained what needed to be done prior to work being done. Called in middle of project with pictures. Sent final pictures when the job was finished.

The S.G. Crew is very professional and accommodating. They explained every step of my roof replacement as the job progressed. Ultimately, it was a pleasure working with the crew and to be honest, I was sorry the job ended. Iâ m definitely eager to work with Sam on another project soon.
