As I mentioned above, we knew nothing about buying a house. We didn't know the process, anything about points, deposits, escrow, etc.
Linda took the time to explain everything that she needed to do for us, what we should expect from other professionals (building inspectors and such) and told us what to look for in choosing the other professionals we needed.
Every professional we spoke with asked who our agent was and when we said, "Linda Huss" they all commented that she was the best and that we were in the "very best of hands". Her excellent reputation is wide-spread knowledge.
We put in offers on multiple properties as our first choice was a Short Sale and Linda warned us that anything can happen...the short sale could not work out. Behind the scenes, she worked with the other inexperienced seller's agent to make sure that all paperwork was done on time and submitted correctly so if something did fall through, it would be the lending bank and not a technicality or improperly filed paperwork on the seller's end.
The entire time she was helping us with our purchase, she made us feel that she was helping a family member purchase their first home and not two complete strangers.
