Tarpy Plumbing Heating & Air

****DO NOT HIRE TARPY!!!!!!**** Iâ m not sure what happened to this company. We have loyally used them to redo the entire plumbing and HVAC since 2010. They have always been great! However, during our last heat wave. I called and had an appointment scheduled for a Monday morning. In the afternoon, they called and said I was bumped to Tuesday morning. On Tuesday, I waited all morning, and no one showed up. When I called customer service, they dispatched the technician and told me they would arrive within 10 minutes. When they didn't come, I called again. Long story short, I called several more times throughout the day, and they were NO-SHOW!!! I called again the next day and every day after that. I was told on three occasions that the manager would call me, and they elevated my case to an emergency. It's been over three weeks, calls were made every day/every other day, and I still haven't heard back. Iâ m incredibly shocked and disappointed. This is not the level of service I have ever experienced with them. All I can think is that the company must have had a big change, especially considering all the recent one-star reviews. Needless to say, the HVAC is now having issues and its only 4 years old! HORRENDOUS!!!

Crew was very pleasant to deal with, worked efficiently & quickly, and cleaned up afterwards. So far, everything is working great.

Paul the estimator was very knowledgeable. Learned a few things about heat loss and load calculations and I am a builder. Not inexpensive but very professionalà ¢à  à ¦pros.

Tarot is very friendly, had competitive pricing and offers great service.

If there were 6 stars Tarpy would get them! From the estimate to installation, I felt at ease and confident that I'd made a sound decision. My new unit was installed by Steve and James who were personable and professional. I was impressed with how well they worked as a team and the job was completed as scheduled, enabling me to go into work as I had planned. I even recommended Tarpy to a co-worker asking about the job, it was plain to everyone that I am very happy. I recommend this company hands down!

I liked their giving a specific estimate for costs and staying within price quote given for repairs. It fixed my A/C problem on my older unit, and my AC is cooling my house again.

this sales rep from Tarpy came fully prepared with answers to all my question. professional. unfortunately the project has been tabled for a few months. however, Tarpy is at the top of the list when we resume the project.

We purchased a new heat pump/ air conditioner from Tarpy. There were several hiccups along the way to having the systemt installed and running well. Scott worked very hard to make everything right for us. My one big issue was the poor communication between the office and the crew scheduled to work at our home. Also the environmental service Tarpy contracted with changed our asbestos removal time and date without letting us or Tarpy know. They then did not complete the job on time and delayed the installation two days. This meant we were without heat for a week.

Very professional with outstanding customer service. Had them provide a bid, then replace my furnace.

The specific project was install of a 5 zone mini split a/c unit. Paul and his crew did a GREAT job. Best money I every spent on my home.

We are very happy with our new environmental system from Tarpy. Paul was the only one of the four representatives that came out that did a detailed analysis of our home and our needs. He made the effort to design an entirely new system that met our needs and budget. We found, unlike the others that came out, that because there was no cold air return we needed more room in our mechanical closet. The rest were just going to dump a new furnace in the closet and we'd still have the same problems. They offered a tankless water heater to give us room and did the furnace, air conditioner, and water heater as well as new ducting for a very fair price and even though their team had to work extra time to accommodate challenges in our old house the final bill was exactly as estimated. These guys worked 12 hours on the day before Thanksgiving. When I said "go home guys, we can wait till Monday" I was told they just couldn't leave a customer without heat over a holiday. I've never been treated better. Great equipment, works really well, job site was cleaner than when they started, and they were all solid, hard working, and professional from estimate to payment.

No one ever showed up on time, 15 minutes here, half hour, there. It did not cause any problems but the reality is they were consistently late. Everything else was top notch, great employees very accommodating,
