Billing was out of site: $4,059. hey cut a 3' X 5' hole in my ceiling dried it out for three days. I paid it. Received a second bill for inventory and cleaning a leather sofa. They asked to bring the Sofa into the warehouse for restoration when it only had some some drywall marks. I said no and handed then a leather cleaner and they cleaned it in five minutes. A total of $779.35 for inventory of 10 items and the cleaning of the sofa at $325. I refused to pay until the fixed this billing and they refused to fix it and sent us to collections. AR Resources, Inc. they are very rude and cannot change anything. ECN cant change anything. I cant pay for what was not done or $325 for 5 minutes of work. its almost two year sand neither company can change the billing. ESN Restoration has an Expired CA Contractors Licence #972277 They cannot be found as a company on the California State site. They have an expired bond of $15,000 and no record of a new one. Looks like they also go by RT1 Renovation Services No records on the Ca. Licence Board website and one complaint on BBB. They also go by Empire Construction and Technology Cant find them either unless they are #349487 So, as you can see these guys should not be in business and not on Angies List. Still in collections for $779.35 in order to dispute the $325.

It went okay. It didn't cost us anything because my insurance took care of it. They were kind of mediocre though.

They tried to remodel our home after flood damage. They got paint everywhere, including my husband's clothes and an old painting I had, they tried to wipe it off and made it worse. They did not cover anything up while they were working. Our furniture was also ruined and our cabinets were hung improperly. Our bathroom completely needs remodeled now from them breaking tile. Our insurance company recommended them to us from the claim. We had taken plenty of pictures to show our insurance company the damage they have done, so now they are having to pay twice for this disaster.

I was very happy with them, and they were great to work with. Unfortunately all this damage had been done by the time we figured it out. We had no choice but to change the entire first floor. They had to come with sand, and humidifiers, and the whole 9 yards so that we wouldn't get mold. Everybody there was very good to deal with, and we went all the way through with them. We were happy with them. We had to move all our furniture out, and it was huge. We ended up changing something in our kitchen, and they had to do extra dry wall, and they did additional painting as well. If there was anything that we weren't happy with, they would get it fixed. They aim to please with, and if they have to come back they would. The painters had to come back to fix something. They were good at keeping us happy and keeping us informed. When I would show up at the house, there were a lot of people coming and going, because they had a lot of crews, but I trusted them. They gave me this lady, who came and helped me clean the house. When we just had the water damage, we had to pack things away, I told them that I had company coming for a week, and they sent me this lady who helped me clean the pantry, and pack the boxes. When it was all done, she came back, she cleaned everything, and unpacked stuff. It was just an awesome blessing. I didn't expect that. We had a few little things that we didn't figure out, we had damage to our sofa, and they can't say how it happened, so we just dropped the ball on that. Overall we were very happy. We felt their price was reasonable, we could have found cheaper people, but not doing the same kind of work. There were a few things on the dry wall that weren't quite perfect.

They were extremely responsive with immediate service as soon as the problem was identified. They also helped tremendously with identifying floor replacement and repair work needed. Their personnel were extremely professional and everyone who worked on the house were courteous, freindly and sensitive to our needs. I have never worked with more professional people.

When our tenants moved out, we found they had failed to report a water leak in the downstairs bathroom that had been leaking for months. Large areas of the bathroom and kitchen walls had to be torn out and removed, as well as parts of the kitchen cabinets. The apartment had been completely remodeled less than 2 years ago with new granite counters on the kitchen cabinets. They took all the needed precautions to prevent any unnecessary damage.
,ESN was responsive to all my concerns, communication with them was easy and satisfying, all promises were kept, all appointments and schedules were kept in a timely manner, and everyone I met was a delight to work with. I can't think of anything negative to say about the experience (except that I would like to shake some sense into my tenants).
I didn't realize ESN also did repair work, or I would have gotten an estimate for that, too. I would definitely use them again.

To sum up our experience, in the future if we need similar work or plumbing work done; if ESN was price competitive we would choose ESN to perform the work.

The slab leak repair was all paid for by insurance and then we added other stuff. We had them give us additional estimates and hired them ourselves to do the remainder. It was quite a bit of money for the work. I thought that they were very good. They did everything they said they were going to do. We were pleased with the job they did and everything. I recommended them to my neighbor when they had a subsequent slab leak and may be they didn't have as good an experience. I understand that the guy who did the estimating for us has left and gone. He commuted a long way and I don't know why he left but it could have been just because of his commute. We were just happy with the job they did. They came when they said they were going to come and all the good kinds of things. We just needed a lot of things done and they were good for doing a lot of things. Hopefully, I would not have to use them again because I think of them more in terms of emergency. They actually outsourced a lot of the work. They made it easier for me because they already had the people that they work with. We had them put the film because there is a film on all our windows. They put that because all the windows weren't changed but just the ones that were leaking. The guy who came to put the film on the windows said that I was paying a lot less for this than most people. I wouldn't get as good a deal I got going through ESN if I call them out of a phone book, so may be I would go with them again. It is 75 percent likely that I would go with them again to do different stuff.

They did a horrible job of packing my things. I have a priceless collection of classic car models, and instead of packing them in styrofoam for security, they wrapped them in paper, and now, about half of them are broken. Our grandfather clock, several lamps, and a large oak desk are all broken as well. I have attempted to contact this company and get their insurance information as we have a legitimate claim against them, and they have not been cooperating at all.

In August, an employee of ESN finally came out and gave a written estimate of damages, but later there was some sort of descrepency and they lowered the initial estimate. In the end, they GROSSLY underestimated the cost of the repairs which left our items in storage for over a year because ESN represented the insurance interests, and not ours as their customers.

We would like them to either repair, or reimburse the damages on our goods.

A pipe had burst in the ceiling and entire house was flooded. ESN helped us pack out all belongings, photograph/index items, and deliver our things into a new residence. They did a great job at inventory of our items for insurance purposes. Very professional and helpful.

It was covered by insurance. So we didn't worry about the cost. They arrived in good time to begin the emergency water shut off and search for the leak. They worked around my schedule, coming when I could be home. I had just finished decorating for Christmas and they were so careful, never bumping any plants or nativity scenes. We got estimates for some additional jobs. We had the plumber came back to install a new garbage disposal, but the work to open up the area under a staircase and have it meet code seemed too expensive and we have not done that, but may in the future.
