Great customer service and after service care. Very professional. Finished work in time. This comes with higher cost than other contractors though.

This company did a BEAUTIFUL job on my driveway. However, when it was time to take the framing and trash away (caution tape, metal and plastic trash), they did not return. It took SEVEN calls and weeks to get them to complete the job. I was assured FOUR times that it would be taken care of immediately and then no one showed. I had to delay putting my house on the market, because pictures could not be scheduled until the cleanup happened.

They perform high pressure sales tactics, and play games with pricing starting excessively high, and discuss oh by the way we have a project nearby so we can give you better pricing, might be true, but after having two companies use the same sales tactic I feel its how they are trained to do it. Additionally we were advised the project managers would be onsite while the work would be performed, once they sold the job we did not see them again except for one inspection. We advised them that a vehicle could not be moved, and they ensure it would be protected with a tarp and would not be a problem. The crew arrived and where not aware of the commitment and never followed through properly resulting in protecting it. The one side of the vehicle was left with scratches over due to shingles being dragged across it... We were given a $150 credit on the bill for damages that will likely cost $500+ to repair, but at this time the vehicle is not mobile to obtain a quote. Additionally they started removing the roofing prior to obtaining a permit, causing the project to be halted and they were fined. Additionally they tried to pass the fine off into the permit fees... Finally they were supposed to paint the fascia boarding while they were perform the repairs which was not completed. The last thing they never followed through with is the gutters were supposed to be done once the roofing project was complete, no one followed through with seeing if we wanted them to perform that part of the job after the less then stellar job that they did. Overall we fell disappointed and dissatisfied with this company. Update: 6/24- After discovering that on the front porch that they did not shingle that surface as stated in the contract, but installed flat roofing material without advising us. We contacted them immediately upon that discovery and after 8 days we finally had David come out into to the field and review the facts. We came to the agreement that the roofing material was not as notated in the contract, and we agree that if the roof pitch was below the limits that were acceptable by the building code of 2 inch/ linear foot that the was the proper material, the area of debate is that I specifically asked Luis that the roof pitch was low, but we were assured that it wasn't going to be a problem. David upon the final review admitted that the roof pitch depending on the specific area was 1.9- 2.2 per what he told me. So we are disputing .1/ ft causing the wrong material being used. Additionally we were never advised that they had changed the roofing material/ and that the color we selected was not an option in that type of roofing material. Instead of coming to an agreement on how to move forward, we were given a 7,000 quote which is in addition to the 14,000 we already paid to have the roof decking inclined 1.5 inches over the course of 8.5 ft span. After reviewing that information, I found the material costs would be approximately 400 for the lumber required/ sheathing. Not including the costs for proper roofing material as that should be the responsibility of the roofer... But since its purely cosmetic it doesnt seem to matter to them, but if this would have been addressed on the front as again I directly asked them if that area of the roof low pitch would be a problem.

Very smooth sales people. The project went well, but once we had a complaint it was very hard to get the two guys we made the deal with to respond to us.

They will charge you 4x what the work is worth. The inspector/salesman will cheat you and deceive you. I have never dealt with a more lying, bait and switch, pressure you to sign company in my life. beware seniors they will try to cheat you out of your money.

I was under a scheduling crunch to have the roof replaced, and they came through for us. The finished job looked great at first, but then I began to notice nail holes that had punctured all of my soffit boards under the eaves of the entire house and garage. I was told I should have known this would happen as a certain length nail had to be used. If I had been told this, I would have said *No* The company did send someone out multiple times to fix the damages, but it took a lot more time to resolve than I would have liked.

The painters who painted my stucco home and garage did a good job in general. I was pleased with their work. However, when I notice a spot or two that was overlooked, they corrected the problem right away.

The General Managers were friendly, knew the product and was able to start the project the next day. The roofer project was finished on time and it looks great. We added interior painting after the roof was completed. Nice job.

What I couldn't figure out is why Reliance Roofing sent (2) Project Managers Advisors to inspect my job and determine estimates, repair strategies, and overall costs and time involved. They spent two hours with me drinking coffee-which I offered and we proceeded to talk about the project, and as well, get to know each other . Business is done by developing trust in a relationship and those expectations run high in most when hiring a complete stranger to work on your personal investment.. After agreeing to do business with them, I signed a contract with a starting of March 9th and a closing date of April 3rd. Sounded fantasstic. I gave them a deposit to guarantee the work and honor the contract. The Project Managers stated that they wanted to start the job on March 8th and no later than March 9th. My wife and I cleared out the work areas and took a day off from work. They never showed up. They didn't call, text, email or communicate whatsoever. As a matter of fact...I NEVER heard from Reliance Roofing until I called them on April 4th to ask them for my deposit back, and I also inquired why no one bothered to fulfill their contract? I asked them why they didn't honor their end of the deal. The response came from the Accounting Department stating "...guess they ran into a scheduling issue..." After waiting for (1) month...this was not the type of response I expected to receive . It wasn't professional, demonstrated a lack of respect for their client, and demonstrated a lack of responsibility To further illustrate what had transpired....I hired another company and they fixed the repair the same day and it wasn't even close to the same area Reliance Roofing wsa going to work on. I would strongly recommend that you keep your guard up with Reliance Roofing. It's unfortunate I had to write a negative review....as most reviews were extremely positive .....which I why I hired them in the first place. They completed misrepresented themselves and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone that is concerned on making sure that their peroneal investment is in good hands.

They came over for an inspection/estimate in a timely manner even they were busy with many other roofing projects during the recent rain storms. They made all the necessary repairs in a very timely manner. Greatly appreciated. Did a good job cleaning up afterwards. Appears to be a very professional organization.

I went with Reliable largely for the glowing reviews and professionalism displayed by the men who came to give me an estimate. The reviews must have been written by employees, because once my signature was on the contract, the project became a nightmare. The Project Manager never came to the project, although he was available by phone. Unfortunately, he always had to research any question, and never got back to me with an answer. If he said the crew would be out the next day, they did not show up, if he said they would be working on Saturday, they showed up the following Tuesday. No one spoke coherent English. I begged for weeks to have the building supplies and mountain of paper and plastic trash removed from my front yard before the winds distributed it throughout the neighborhood and my HOA issued a fine. They finally took the waste, but I still have all the building materials, although they did at least pile it in the side yard. Home Advisor gave a price range of a high end of around $30,000. My estimate was around $36,000. Once the roof had been torn open, it jumped to $53,000. Save your money, time, nerves, and patience and keep looking for a more reliable company than the Not So Reliable roofers.
