David has been and excellent project manager and has helped us understand everything that needs to be done. Chris and Peter are experts who helped work out a solid SOW for what our house needed. Granted, we are still only halfway through, but Angi is already nagging me for a review, so let's hope this story has a happy ending!

Hire this company if you want headaches and your project going sideways.

Our City of Gardena, CA has not issued a permit to NewHaus to complete this job. We have no roof after prompt removal, our solar panels are disconnected, and after a series of wind events we have tattered plastic covering our home. The Permit is promised tomorrow, the day after Easter in this Covid environment. It has been a month. We need help. We are retired...and scared. William Paul Petersen Rana Platz-Petersen.

The work has not been completed as of yet, home advisors need to get back to me once to work has been completed.

Excellent in quality and customer service

They said they had an opening in their schedule. Had a Delayed other job. We are leaving for Summer and did not want to defer work to a time when we would not be here. We did not get competitive bid. They found severely damaged other section of roof that they replaced at same time of an additional 2/3 of original price. Pricing seems high to me. I tried to find other roofers on internet and had not had any luck.

The crew always came on time and were great at cleaning up. Tony B. was very good at communicating throughout the project and returned phone calls promptly.

They did a great job for my roof. Denio Medeiros as a project manager is very responsible and professional. He helps me a lot and respect my decide. They are a good team.

They did a great job. It is reassuring to know we have an energy efficient new roof that should last 50 years. We love having a skylight. The price was right and the service very professional.

Just today Newhaus Roofing and Construction completed the overhaul and restoration of a section of tile roofing, and we are delighted with every aspect of the experience. To explain… We have a 90-year-old mission style house with original – and hard to obtain – Spanish S-style clay tiles. A complex roofline with different gradients and intersections. We’ve been restoring the roof section by section, and last October, anticipating the storms, we decided to restore the only remaining section. It’s hard to find a roofer with the skills to do this work, so we went to the roofers who’d done well for us earlier. They totally let us down – a survey visit but no quote after a month, and then they told us that they’d need 8 weeks from placing the order to line up materials! Meanwhile we were bailing out water during the storms. So right after Christmas we sent out requests for quote. And that same day, we had a call back from Newhaus to set an appointment the next day! Eric came by to survey the job, explained exactly what work should be done, and right there and then gave us a quote. Which came in under our budget. Every aspect of our interaction gave us confidence. Eric was a delight to work with. Turns out that Newhaus, although less known in the Bay Area, has been a very reputable firm in LA for many years. They were absolutely specific about the work that they would do, and they completely held to it. They started as soon as weather allowed and sent a crew specially chosen to work on fragile clay-tile roofs. Lifted and stored all the tiles, replaced broken ones. Removed the decades-old underlayment and replaced with state-of-the-art material. Re-set tiles and cemented the ridgeline. At each stage, Eric kept us informed and checked the work to make sure that it met our requirements. And the result is beautiful. So we now have our trusted go-to roofer. Very disappointed, got the stripping of the old roof done, and then they came back and doubled the price to finish, had to run them off. Would not recommend this company.

It was a poor job and they over charged. Thought they were the professionals.
