Justin and his team made my refinancing experience the best I have had. Right from the beginning Justin worked up three options for me to compare. Once an option was chosen, his team was excellent with communication and made it very clear what was expected of me, what they were responsible for, and what the process was each step of the way. If I decide to finance another home, NuHome will be my first call.

We have utilized Justin an NuHome for two home loan refinance and a home purchased and have been pleased each time.


When we were introduced to Justin/NuHome, we were already working with another broker, but wanted to research other brokers and lenders to see if we were getting the most competitive quotes as Justin was recommended by friends, After a few email exchanges, we were  impressed by Justin's honest, straightforward, and no-nonsense answers. After further communication, we eventually cancelled the refinancing deals we initiated with others and committed to moving forward with NuHome. And now know we absolutely made the right choice.  


Right from the beginning, we couldn't believe how easy it was to work with Justin and the NuHome team and how the experience was such as stark contrast as compared to our experiences with other brokers and lenders. Justin was straightforward and honest about everything - including the closing costs and fees. Considering we initiated the refinance process at a time when interest rates were at most volatile due recent financial news, Justin was sensitive to it and stayed on top of things, bending over backwards to make sure we were being placed in the most advantageous position. Each time information or quick communication was needed, he was quick to respond and willing to accommodate as best he could; including but not limited to working with OUR work schedules. Each time, he was patient and willing to take the time to answer questions (sometimes answering the same question again and again ...) as well as explain every step in simple, easy-to-understand terms. 


After working with him for a few weeks, it was pretty clear that having some of the most pricing in the market wasn't his only goal, but coupling it with some of the best "CUSTOMER SERVICE". That was apparent also with our experience with everyone involved in the process are always on top of things, keeping us updated, answering questions and helping expedite the process along the way. 


All in all, it's a great experience working with Justin and his team. Without hesitation or reservation, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND NuHome or your home refinancing and/or purchasing needs and if needed, will definitely work with them again in the future.

Having worked with other home finance companies I can confidently say that NuHome really knows what they're doing. I highly recommend them! Justin and his team handled my refi swiftly and without undue stress on my behalf. They answered all my questions and provided options so that I could make the best choice for me and my family. Well, we went to this firm after getting some recommendation from one of our friend. I would accept honestly that the recommendation was spot on. The guy Justin who handled our refinancing application was very professional in understanding our need . Justin and his team were able to help me to close in less than 30 days during the big holiday month. The seller demanded us to close within 30 days, and Justin's team acted as a liaison between the lender, and myself. To add difficulty to the process, I was in the middle of job changes and vacation oversea. Nevertheless, Justin's team delivers and help me to pull through. Big thank you to Justin.

My wife and I used Tim when we bought our home. If you don't know, that is a scary process. Tim made the process painless and easy. He was very patient and thorough. He answered every question we had, and made us feel like we were his most important clients.

But most of my communication was with someone else, I've forgotten their name. And that person seemed a bit more frazzled and all over the place. For the most part, she very professional, but I remember one really egregious error, where she said she would be sending me back a copy of my application or something like that and it was actually somebody else's, so it had their name, social security number, and other really important information that should not be seen by others.

After that, the company shifted her out and set me up with a different person as my liaison.

So a few wonky experiences like that prevent me from giving a full Five Stars, but overall, Justin really made up for that because I found him to be very trustworthy and consistent and reliable. His support staff on the other hand? needs a little work.

I met Justin 3.5 years ago while purchasing my first home. He managed my original home loan and has since helped me with two refis. My experience with Justin has been nothing but positive. His communication style over email, over the phone, and in person was friendly, helpful, clear, and articulate. Justin was patient and took the time to listen to my long term loan financing goals, shopped to find me the best rates, walked me through explanations when I was confused or overwhelmed, and kept me informed throughout the loan process. WHEN (not if) I am ready to buy my next house, I wouldn't think of working with anyone else. Justin (and his team) are top notch professionals. They care about their clients and go out of their way to make sure we're happy and it shows.

Justin and his staff at NuHome Financial were very effective and got me through my stressful first home purchase. They were determined to get me the best terms for my loan and helped me solve some issues that the bank raised. Due to their attentiveness to the loan process and my needs I'm certain they helped me get a much better loan and loan terms than a regular big bank mortgage dept would have given me. If you want to start a loan process where you know everyone is working hard for you, not just a corporate bank dept obsessed with arcane protocol, these are your guys. I highly recommend them.

Justin and his team are awesome. This was our first house (townhouse), and we had no idea what we were doing. Justin, Lexi, Anarosa and their whole team made the process easy and fast. We had a bunch of issues (not their fault: seller agent sucked, title company sucked, appraiser sucked, and IRS was a pain) - but Justin and his team took care of everything and fought hard for us.


Friendly, knowledgable, and my own realtor liked him so much she wants to use them for her own next purchase. I'd go back to NuHome Financial in an instant!


Just to show you I'm not someone paid to review this, I'll tell you the one thing that I might want changed: the fee charged. You aren't going to get charged the 1% like the big banks do - NuHome is more like 2%. It's worth the (slightly) higher cost, and you support a local small business vs. paying a big bank. Also, Justin has some cute kids (he posts on FB) I don't mind supporting.


5/5 will call him again when we want to upgrade to single family home. Thanks Justin!
