ASI Plumbing, Heating & Air

It has been wonderful using their services. I would not use any one else for the work. I have been using their services on and off of around four years. They really know what they are doing. We had a problem with the unit in the past and no one could figure it out but them.

It was very nice. Everyone was nice and cooperative, they were sensitive to my needs and it was a pleasure working with them. I especially appreciated one gentleman who took some measurements and contacted the roofer who recently put on my new roof and saved me a lot of hassle and he also contacted my home owners association.

Initially the repair was made to the AC wall control unit. The air conditioning unit was fine. The repair lasted 3 days. ASI was called back and what followed was the replacement of the wall control unit. The initial fee was rolled into the final bill. The AC is still functioning after a months time.

I have used them before on other houses and I think they are great.

I called on a Friday and they said that the next available appointment was the following Friday, which was fine. Then they called on Tuesday to give me my appointment time for the next day, Wednesday, so either I had gotten the days mixed up or they did. It wasn't a problem to have them come earlier. One thing is that they give a 3-hour time window (10:00am - 1:00pm) which was going to conflict with me picking up my son from school at 12:15. They said they would call right before arriving to make sure it wouldn't be a problem. They didn't call before arriving but they did arrive about 11:00am so it wasn't an issue after all. I HATE CONTRACTORS AND UTILITY COMPANIES WHO GIVE "TIME WINDOWS"! Even so, I would do business with them again because overall it was a good experience.

It went really well. They are a great company to work with. They came and gave us an estimate. They spend a lot of time with us then and there were a lot of options and they answered my questions well. After we got the estimate we were able to talk about it and get it in a price we could afford. Read "same as cash" contract closely though.

I called for an estimate and they came out within a few days. Two weeks later the system was installed. The crew was polite, prompt, and cleaned up the site when finished. The job was completed in one day.

Great experience. The installers were always right on-time and very personable and patient with questions. Replacing the ductwork and wiring for the AC was not an easy task as I live in a condo with vaulted ceilings and access to some necessary areas was not always easy. Great attention was paid to detail and the installers were very neat. The job took 2 and 1/2 days and these guys worked HARD the whole time. It wasn't cheap, but having the work done right the first time and dealing with an established, very highly rated company was worth a little extra money. Would definitely recommend ASI anytime.

ASI showed up on time and all work was done professionally and cleanly. Im very happy. There was a problem that caused 220V across a couple outlets that occurred when they were hooking up the power. They just said to replace the equipment and send them a bill. I did and they paid promptly. After about 6 months the thermostat failed. They had a guy here in less than an hour and replaced it no-charge. While there were a couple of problems, it is how they handle them that makes them stand out.

My 25-year old furnace had a leaking gas valve. Although I plan to completely redo the central heating, including ducts, and adding A/C, I just couldn't afford to do it right now. So I wanted to repair this furnace. ASI Hastings came out the same day I called and sent a very personable tech, Ben, to my home. I really enjoyed talking with him and discussing my plans for the future heating & A/C upgrade and he gave me some great info. He understood my need to repair the existing furnace, although recommended replacing it. I almost fell over when he said it would be a week before they could get the part! It has been cold here and I wasn't sure how I was going to manage, especially with a toddler in the house. But with the help of two space heaters, we managed, although we were definitely cold. When the tech came out to repair my heater, he was courteous but not nearly as personable as Ben, he barely said two words. But it works, I have heat and a 1-year warranty. I am happy!

The did a good job on time. The system has worked well ever since. I would use them again.

I had to work the day of installation. When I got home, I couldn't tell they had even been there except for the new furnace, A/C unit and thermostat. The installation was done with minimal alteration to the inside and outside of the house. I was so happy with the minimal impact. My new heater is so efficient. I can't wait for hot weather to try out the new A/C.

The price was high, but the service was good and I was happy with the work. They were very courteous on the phone and in person for the quote. It was a good experience.

Stellar job. On time for estimate. Tony and crew were on time each day for the installation, were completely professional in every way. I wanted a quality product and contractor and that is what I received in every way, including their sending me SDG&E rebate forms to complete my own personal information with a SASE!

I was very happy with their efficiency, quality, cleanliness, prompt clean up and removal of old parts and packaging and thoroughness in testing the equipment after installation.

They are great to work with, they even take the time to call you before they come to let you know their on the way. The customer service people are very helpful and good and the team that comes out to work on the unit is also very nice to work with.

No mention was made that the condenser was improperly placed, with too little airflow space around it. The man who came to clean and service the system (per ASI's recommendation) estimated that 25-30% efficiency was lost due to that placement. Shouldn't ASI have suggested something be done about that?

They were very professional and got the job done right. They were here and gone in no time flat. They gave me a really good deal on everything and I didn t feel like they were trying to cheat me. They did a great job.

I was very impressed with them! I have no complaints at all. They were amazingly easy to work with. They are thorough and professional every step of the way. I would recommend them because they have fantastic prices and do good work.

They are most definitely precise and detailed in their work. They are good about answering any questions that I may have for them and they are very honest with the work they do for me.

They were on time and showed they were knowledgeable. The problem that was found was repaired at no additional cost. There was no mess or tools left behind. I will call them again in the future for heating and cooling needs.
