 + -1 moreWent great. I requested three proposals for this work, two responded, and Alarm 2000 responded almost immediately. They provided a comprehensive proposal, did not try to sell me things I did not need, and even discouraged me from purchasing items I had requested that were simply not required. The installer was very professional. He arrived on time, did quality work, solicited our input consistently throughout the installation to ensure we were happy with it, and cleaned up thoroughly when he was done. He ensured we were completely familiar with the system and could operate it before he left. This company is committed to having happy, safe, secure customers. (

 + -1 moreKeith and team at Alarm 2000 gave us the package for free, but we added one additional infrared sensor for the garage and four additional sensors for the bedroom windows, costing an additional $220. The non-upgraded package we got, which was free, was for all the entry doors to the house (four) and we also got two infrared sensors. The installation was free as well. The equipment is all wireless expect for the one housing main unit. All other sensors and infrared units are wireless. All of this was free as long as we agreed to a two-year contract for about $30 a month of monitoring service. Sometimes it takes Keith a little bit longer than I would like to return calls. The original "mainframe" had to be replaced because errors starting popping-up a few weeks after installation. They put in a new "mainframe" at no additional cost.
Description of Work: We received bids from three different alarm companies to alarm our home, built in 1956. The home has an extremely low room and concrete foundation making it impossible to add wires underneath the foundation and above the ceiling.

 + -1 moreAlarm 2000 was excellent. No one could beat his price. Keith was great, answered all questions, returning calls quickly. Keith was very flexible when it came to changing the install date. Installer was fast, efficient and completed a perfect install. Alarm company called promptly after a false alarm we accidentally caused. Alarm system works flawlessly after 2 months. Can't go wrong with Keith. My wife and I recommend him highly.
Description of Work: Complete home security system install arming all doors and key windows along with motion detectors. Also received 2 key chain remotes with panic buttons. Monthly monitoring fee of $34.95 with a three year contract.
