Sergey was personable and a real problem solver. It was not immediately apparent why the AC unit wouldn't turn on, but Sergey systematically diagnosed the problem as a burned out conductor. Problem solved! Thank you Sergey and thank you Service Magic for steering him and AirMaxx to me to fix the AC during a heat wave!!

Technician's name was Yuri. He contacted me within 45 minutes of my call (after 5 pm on a Friday), gave me a 5 hour time frame to arrive at my home the next day, for a diagnosis on our AC (no charge). He arrived promptly at our home, diagnosed, repaired, and tested our system & circuits, completing the job in 45 minutes. He explained the problem and our options thoroughly to my husband & I; we needed a capacitor replaced. His charge was reasonable, and we had AC when it was 90 degrees outside. Superb work on a difficult project. Very constrained subflooring that the installation team overcame to properly install ducting. Overall very satisfied with the work.

I have a tenant that said he didn't think the thermostat was working. I was immediately contacted by AirMaxx and they got ahold of the tenant the same day for the appointment. The thermostat was replaced and on Alex's advice the A/C was also serviced. The tenant said he received excellent service. I thought the total price for the thermostat ($183 part and labor) was pretty pricey, but it was worth the peace of mind that I wouldn't be contacted by the tenant again. The only negative was I had to call back again to ask for an invoice for my records.

Realize how much this imposes on your attic storage space, and be ok with the trade-off. Clear out as much as possible. oOur ceiling is plaster and the installers could have done a little better at controlling the dust caused by cutting in registers. As I sit here at my computer with white dust all over keyboard and desk top and same at other newly located registers. Other wise installers were great and timely, done in one day. Price apron. two thousand dollars cheeper than competitors. Great value, little stress. No extra charge for thermostat of my choice (nest). Thank you, AirMax and Alex

Had 3 other estimates done and AirMaxx was by far the best price. A competitor looked at the estimate from you all and compared it to what he was offering. He told me that it was comparable to what they were offering but he wouldn't be able to match the price. He couldn't believe you could do the job at that price. Was very pleased with the service offered. They had the job done in 5 hours and they cleaned up after themselves. Wouldn't have known they were even there.
