My AC system stopped working in the middle of the heat. I called Matson Mechanical and they came out and checked the system and had diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. They left and about an hour later they had returned and repaired the system. They came out early the next day after I had called them. Repair cost was amazing and they didn?t try to sell me in anything I didn?t need. Considering it was an emergency, the pricing was affordable. Customer service was good. The tech got straight to work and had already check out the unit and diagnosed it fairly quickly.

I was in full Air Conditioner crisis mode when I contacted David during the great Sacramento heat wave of June 2017. The first pleasant surprise was that he came out the same day. I have a 22-year-old HVAC unit, which one of the big companies had previously been "hard selling" me to replace. But due to a tight household budget I am using the "run to failure" approach. It looked like the day of failure had finally arrived -- until David got to work. After some extended troubleshooting he expertly diagnosed a direct short in the compressor, and then resolved the problem in a way I doubt the big companies would have even cared to try. He even cleaned the AC coils and the final cost was much less than I expected. Bottom line: top-notch technical ability, outstanding customer service, very affordable prices = my highest possible recommendation!
