Description of Work: I was experiencing an outage of some sort in a portion of my home, and I called Magnolia to utilize the coupon I had purchased after trying to reset the breakers and testing the GFCI outlets to no avail. They were very helpful, by scheduling someone to come out on the next business day (this occurred on a Sunday). The technician from Magnolia was able to restore the power by resetting the breakers. It turned out that 3 of my breakers are a different type of breaker, which is not reset the same way as the others. They require you to push the switch over further. It was actually very simple to fix, but this consumed most of my $200 in services. i thought the price was very steep for simply showing me how to switch the different breakers. The technician also gave me a quote to replace the breakers, because he stated that they can be troublesome, despite the fact that they are newer and more expensive than traditional breakers. The cost was astronomical to switch the breakers to standard, at approximately $1,200.00, and that included honoring the Angie's list price deal. I opted not to replace them at this time, because they are not presenting any other problems to us, and I do not feel the price was reasonable.

Description of Work: Technical from the Magnolia is a nice person. Came on time as planned. I just find that for the amount of money I paid the 'service performed' was not much of anything. Check temperature of my vents. Opened small door on my AC unit, plugged in some diagnostic tools, told me I need to replace parts and do some other diagnostics for a few hundred more dollars. I was expecting some "clean up and tune up." So technician came and went - I'm not sure the "service" did any improvements. Not worth the $49. I would like a refund on the un-used coupon. And I would not recommend this deal to anyone.
