Description of Work: Magnolia came in and did a complete evaluation of my Heating & Cooling systems, both of which were quite old. They also went through a process where they evaluated what my needs and concerns were with the current system, then suggested a new system which (so far) has literally cut my electric bill by 70% and meets every last one of my needs for cooling in my home. We couldn't be happier.

Description of Work: The $59 big deal for inspection was all I got. That deserves all A's. (Except lead time. But it was the start of summer.) But the compressor motor needed was quoted at a steep price. I had that done by another party.

Description of Work: They identified the issue with my AC pretty quickly they mentioned that it would cost 350 dollars to fix my AC by replacing a blown capacitor. After looking up the part online I decided against them fixing as the replacement part was only $20. My wife works for a property management company and she looked up the pricing, she was able to determine that $350 for a blown capacitor was the average rate for replacement of the part. This is why i am Giving them a B in pricing even though I ended up doing the work myself.

Description of Work: 12/19/14 |1:00 A worker came |2:00 Finished work |3:30 Found the water heater is leaking. Leaking enough to wet floor. | We placed a bucket to catch the water from the water heater. |3:30 Called the worker. He told us that he would come back. |5:00 Called him again and left him a message. |6:00 He called back and told us he would come back. |6:50 He came back and looked at it to check. |7:00 He told us that we would have to replace the valve which cost $250.00. | The reason for leaking was that the valve did not fit right any more | because of built-up calcium and that the heater was so old and | cleaning up caused the leakage. He recommended changing the tank. | His price: Water heater tank $1700 Heater on demand $2700 | He did not fix the leak and left it leaking. Next day we went to | Lowe's and spent $15 for the valve and $5.00 for plastic pipe. My | husband is not a handy man but he fixed the leakage. The heater has | been working since then. It might break down soon because of the age | of the tank, as he told us. However, I wished that he had not left | the tank leaking and that he had tried to stop it even temporarily. .
