Jacob, the technician from Magnolia HV/AC, was courteous, knowledgeable, and skilled. He arrived on time and after a thorough inspection (I watched him work) he was able to tell me exactly what was wrong. He didn't have the parts on his truck but would order it the same day. Jacob came back the next day with the parts required and installed them. He told me that a third part was ready to go out and sure enough that part started making noise. I called back and requested a follow up appointment and Jacob came back out and retested everything, assuring me that the unit was ok at NO CHARGE! Remember that the residence is in Beaumont, Ca. and he came from Riverside NE. I was very pleased with the total job and would use Magnolia HV/AC in the future.

Couldn't be happier! Great experience from the estimate to the completion of work. Eric is a man of his word and will bend over backwards to make sure you are happy. Magnolia installers are professional, punctual and do great work. Gus was the estimator who came to our home and he was a big reason we chose to go with Magnolia Heating and Cooling. All Magnolia Employee's are honest, up front and very friendly. I recommend this company to all who are looking to replace their HVAC system or who need to have their current system serviced or repaired. They WILL NOT try to sell you something you don't need! Jacob the technician was very polite, friendly and informative. He stayed longer than we would have expected to be sure that the unit continued to work. The unit is old and we had thought that we would have to replace it, but Jacob showed us that it was just not getting enough air due to the filters being dirty. He reset it and showed us how to reset it ourselves in the future. He also cleaned the filter for us. He suggested a service contract, but did not push us at all. We thought it was a good idea and purchased it. Since we purchased the contract, he didn't charge us for his visit. Very happy with this company and especially with their technician Jacob.

Excellent service. Very professional. Before purchasing the tune-up service through Angies List, I called Magnolia Heating and Cooling with some questions. Felecia was very helpful, friendly and professional on the phone. The service was scheduled for 1 week later (it was not an urgent situation). Chris Williams, the technician showed up promptly on time. He was professional, informative and explained the fan unit, that makes the blower start, was not working. We expected there were problems with the furnace. He gave us the price for replacement, ordered the part and arranged for the return visit to install the part. His return visit three days later was prompt and he immediately began the installation of the part. After installation, he found the blower motor also was not working on the proper settings for the furnace. As the fan unit was not performing on the first visit, this could not have been identified. A motor replacement was needed. Chris explained the issue and the solution. He had the part in his van and could replace it that day. He stayed until 6:30 PM until all his work was complete and I was satisfied with the results. At no time during the service did I feel that I was pressured or being misinformed of required repairs. Chris explained each issue, demonstrated the failing part, and allowed me to make an informed decision after the price was provided. Even with the blower motor, he was clear to let me know the furnace would run on the high setting, but would just blow harder than a furnace should. With the demonstration of the issue, I could determine the furnace would turn on and off frequently, which would clearly be annoying. Ultimately, it made sense to repair the part and have the furnace run properly, most likely extending the life of the furnace a few more years. After the visit, Felecia called me the next day to follow-up with questions on the tune-up as we did not actually do this service. She explained my options and sent me paper work in the mail on the service provided, warranty information, and the different maintance service programs that they offered, as I requested the information. I was very happy with the service provided. I would absolutely use Magnolia Heating and Cooling in the future for repairs. I am currently considering the twice a year maintenance of the AC and heating unit. It is really nice to find a company that does good, reliable work, with employees as professional as Chris and Felecia.

After showing up a few minutes early, my service tech, Brian, was extremely thorough and explained everything he was doing very clearly. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was running smoothly including using a hose to wash away dirt that my dog piled up next to each unit. He even went into to attic and checked on the furnace to make sure there weren't any problems. He did find a problem with a capacitor on one of the units and recommended it be replaced. However, since I have a home warranty and I'm leasing my house out, I told him I will wait for the unit to fail so the warranty company would cover it at minimal cost. To have Brian replace it would have been over $150.00, which I was not prepared to spend. Based on that, he made sure it was working and it wouldn't pose a safety issue in the meantime. I was very pleased with Brian's service and wouldn't hesitate to have him back in the future.

We were very impressed with the service we received and will definitely call Magnolia again for heating and AC issues.

The office staff member was very professional, courteous, and helpful. She told me the exact amount the requested service would cost. We scheduled an appointment easily within the next week, as I had asked. She called back a day or two later, apologizing, and asking if we could move the appointment just a couple of hours later. Very positive experience with her customer service skills. The service technician arrived on time. He was professional in appearance and demeanor. He patiently managed the service on our furnace, a York and only a few years old. He suggested two additions to the installation which cost a total of $150.00 that would facilitate both maintenance and safety. He performed a review of the interior of the home, as a regular part of the service. He had several suggestions, and specified the exact cost of each. I opted not to initiate any of those and he didn't pressure me or demean me--he was again very professional. Thank you, Brian, for your excellent communication skills and customer service.

I wanted to assist an older person with an evaluation of her heating system which seemed to be fine upstairs, but not too good downstairs. This was my first chance to use Angie's list and it worked out very well. Magnolia Heating and Cooling was able to set an appointment for just 2 days after my call, even providing a simple 2-hour estimate as to when they could arrive. The technician provided a courtesy "on my way" call and arrived nicely within the designated window. Nice! In the attic, the service representive disconnected a poorly installed (and critical) 'B' vent and found a single wall installation where a double wall should be. He removed the old disconnect and installed a new double wall disconnect. He had only a single wall on his truck, but he contacted the office and had someone bring out the appropriate double wall - without additional charge. He checked out the system after the installation and confirmed it was working properly. I was not able to be on-site at the time, but my son was and he gave regular updates to him as the work progressed. The technician was knowledgeable and personable and that made everything nicer. They even provided a 5% discount for using Angie's List.

My heating system went out,and this was when it was cold as h*** out here. I went on Angies list,and found Magnolia Heating & cooling.I called them up and they came out and check my heater .They removed the pressure switch that was faulty and replace it with a new one.Ran a bunch of test on my wires, coils,blower, and fix everything My Wife & I was very happy when Jacob finish working on it.Now we can sleep comfortable and not worry about the cold. Thanks JACOB for a job well done. I will recommend Jacob the Technician and Magnolia Heating and Cooling to any and everyone in the Inland Empire. Again thanks Jacob.

Showed up early and waited out front until invited in. Went right to work. Polite, thorough, respectful and professional. Followed his checklist to the letter and asked for additional input. Overall a great experience.

Called them since tenants said heater not coming on. They came out right away. Diagnosed that the gas was not on. Turned it on. Then said that was it. They were courteous.

I now have working light fixtures in two locations. The service person was prompt and very courteous. He was knowledgeable about what he was doing. I would highly recommend this company and would call them in the future for electrical work.

I originally purchased the $99 electrical work coupon from Angie's List to fix an outside light but when we started having issues with a furnace I called to see if I could exchange the coupon for two $49 furnace tune-up for my two furnaces, which they did. I am happy to report the technician arrived on time, worked on both furnaces and fixed our original electrical problem. He was clean, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend Magnolia Heating and Cooling!

The technician was on time. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know and probably more. I will be using them again during A/C season.

When I contacted them to schedule my appointment and they told me that they wouldn't service my area. When this was offered to me it stated they did service Orange county and now they are telling me they don't. I am very unhappy with their service and the false infomation that provided.

As far as I can tell, he did an outstanding job. Very happy with his work. I would definitely call Magnolia Heating & Cooling next time I need service.

I was hoping to have a whole attic fan installed in my attic so I purchased the Big Deal on Angie's List. I spoke to a rep before purchasing the deal but no mention was made or questions asked as to the age of my townhouse. The technician arrived on time and was very personable however after inspecting my attic informed me that he would not be able to install the attic fan because my electrical system was old or not to spec. I had taken the day off of work to have this done so I was quite disappointed that the work could not be completed. My only complaint is that I feel they should have asked more probing questions to see if there would be any possible reason they would not be able to do the installation.

To get 10% off of repair price you had to join their maintenance agreement($280 per year). I paid that with credit card. So I actually spent $450. First visit was to find the problem - the pressure switch in the heater needed replacing., The charge to fix was $195 with discount. I paid. $100 with other credit card(it was the holidays). They did not bill correct credit card - I had to get that issue resolved. The second visit was 1-2-13 to install new pressure switch. At that time tech performed the 1st of maintenence services on our system. He came up with 5 additional items that needed repair or replacing for an additional $860(approx). Some are "safety" concerns. I have not agreed to repair these items at this time. I am now concerned that this is going to be a continuing cycle of this company finding items to repair at my expense.

I called because my heater wasn't working. I will start with the positive. I was able to schedule a same day appointment and the technician was very nice and professional and called about 30 min prior to arrival to let me know he was on his way. The price of diagnostic was $89, which I was aware of, but two others had come out and did this for me at no cost and actually did more "testing" (acutally hooked up something to the unit and performed some tests). He told me that the motor needed to be replaced. My problem is the price quoted to replace the motor in my furnace was ~$300 more than the other companies quoted! He also suggested replacing the unit, but was unable to quote me a price on that. WOW, i guess i just flushed $89 down the drain.

Eric, a very knowledgeable A/C & heating expert gave came to the house to check out our old unit, ducting, and the size of each room. He explained which size unit he felt would be best, where the equipment should be placed, the benefits of getting a newer system, and gave us an estimate, which included as many deductions, credits, and discounts that he could fin. After his no-pressure pitch we took a day or two to get another estimate and think about this expensive endeavor. 1 week after signing the paperwork, a 2 man crew showed up to do the work. They were friendly, on time, knowledgeable, conscientious about our house and their work, and kept to the scheduled time line. The entire job took 5 days. After the job was completed, they explained and showed us how to use the equipment and what and where everything was. A representative from the company made a follow-up call about a week later. Then came the real test! Did everything work the way Eric had promised? The answer is yes! During the scorching heat waves of last summer, we comfortably sat in the house AND watched our electric bill charges decrease. Then came winter's cold and chilly days and nights. Would the heater work as well as the A/C? Yes! There was however a tiny glitch! The upstairs was about 9 degrees hotter than downstairs. We called them and to our surprise, they made an appointment for Eric to come out to the house to check out our concerns within that same week! Eric checked out the system and found it to be working fine. Understanding the problem, but realizing the system was flawless, he suggested we try a possible solution for a week and then call with a report. We didn't have to wait a week for the heating solution, for within the hour, the upstairs and downstairs were withing 2 degrees of each other. Thank you Eric for being understanding, patient, and for truly showing that you know your stuff! We would highly recommend Magnolia Heating and cooling. We feel that our money was well spent in exchange for their services, follow through, and trouble shooting.

Our heater stopped working on the evening of Jan 1st. I found Magnolia Heating and Cooling on Angie's List and was impressed by their history. My call was answered promptly and a technician (Jacob) was scheduled to visit me the same day. Jacob called about 20 min ahead to let me know he would be there soon. He was very professional and explained what he was doing as he worked on diagnosing the problem. The fault with my heater was not obvious. I was impressed with Jacob's determination to find out the cause of the problem, not just the solution. He found the likely source of the problem was with the power cord for the unit. Replacing the cord was an option, but since the unit started working again, it was not required. Jacob did not pressure me to make the repair, but instead, quoted a price for the job should I decide it is necessary in future.
