After having installed a new Lennox AC and furnace, the furnace would emit a high pitch whine. The previous installer after two visits said that was a normal sound. I got a second opinion from Magnolia Heating & Cooling and they (Chis) resolved the issue in five minutes. Chris was knowledgeable, polite and punctual. I highly recommend him. After this service I am now going to use Magnolia Heating & Cooling for all my future cooling and heating needs.

The company was great to speak with, they were professional and responsive. I was unable to use the deal due to the fine print of the service.

The service turned out very well. They set up an appointment for us as soon as we called them, they were very prompt. They did good service, they were polite, prompt, professional and they were honest and reasonable.

Chris was my first tech and he did a great job with the first problem of replacing thermostat wire that my dogs had chewed up. Jacob came for my second visit and determined that the motor had gone out. Unfortunately it was the weekend and he didn't have the motor he needed. They returned the following Wednesday to finish the repair. Air is nice and cool at my house! I also appreciated Felicia's professionalism on the phone and the follow up call I received from Melissa to ensure I was happy with my service!

My air conditioning system was not blowing cold air. I called Magnolia in the morning and was given a late afternoon service window. The technician (Jacob) arrived within the stated window (~4:20pm), despite of horrible freeway traffic. He did call me ahead of time (3:15pm) to notify me that he was headed to my home. I was stuck in traffic getting to my home so Jacob arrived before I did. He had a very gracious attitude and said he would wait for me to get home. I did not feel like he was pressured by time during the entire service call. He was very friendly and took the time to explain how parts of the A/C unit works. The issue was identified quickly (faulty capacitor) and he performed the necessary repairs after taking the time to explain what it is that he needed to do to repair the unit. I also like the use of "tech". He used his iPhone to identify the right capacitor part to use as a replacement. I signed the service agreement on his iPhone. He emailed me my bill. Total paperless. Love that! The only "knock" is the price (after performing a quick Google search for the cost of the replacement part). Factoring the amount of work required including the cost of the required parts, I graded the price one notch down at a 'B'. But, perhaps I expect too much! ;) Having said that, I would still be happy to recommend Magnolia to friends/family and would definitely use their service again for myself!

Chris the technician that come out was probably the most professional, patient, courteous technician we've ever worked with. We asked tons of questions and Chris was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions in a way we could understand. We were scared we were going to get ripped off but we felt very comfortable we got what we paid for and maybe more. Magnolia Heating & Cooling will be our go to place for now on!

THEY DID A GREAT OF INSTALLING THE NEW SYSTEM, WERE THE OLD SYSTEM WAS LOCATED,THEY REMOVED IT AND REPLACED EVERYTHING IN ITS LOCATION INCLUDING THE OLD BASE BOARD IT WAS SUPPORTED BY,NEW GAS AND ELECTRICAL LINES ETC. DONT THINK ANY OTHER COMPANY MIGHT DO THAT! THE TECHS. WERE POLITE AND ANSWED OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. OUR FAMILY IS AMAZED HOW FAST THE NEW SYSTEM COOLS THE HOUSE. THEY DID EVERYTHING THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO.

Brian was the service technician. He was very pleasant and professional and appeared to be very knowledgeable about heating and air conditioning systems. Am very satisfied with service provided by Brian from Magnolia Heating and Cooling, Inc.

It turned out well and the technician that came was really good. He was prompt and he explained just what he was doing. He gave me some suggestions on the thermostat and did a thorough check.

Technician Brian was prompt, professional, and conducted a thorough check of my heating and air conditioner systems. He answered my questions and provided recommendations e.g. changing vent filters more often, to improve system efficiencies. Was in escrow to buy a house. My Home Inspector suggested that I get a HVAC company out to check out the AC unit since it was not powering on. Had Magnolia come out to check out the AC unit. The first guy diagnosed, I believe, a faulty contact but missed the real issue, which was that the original wiring had to be replaced. The second guy, Jacob, was more thorough and probably more experienced. He originally came out to fix the faulty contact but was able to diagnose the real problem. Magnolia acknowledged their miss and made amends with me. Alan (was that his name) provided great customer service and really worked with me to make sure that my needs were met. I actually signed up for a preventative maintenance policy and have been getting great proactive service. They also make it a point of trying to send out the technicians who know my place. Jacob was out most recently to fix the AC unit because it would no longer turn on. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty thermostat, which was coincidentally fortunate because I had asked them to send the tech out with a digital thermostat because I was thinking of upgrading it anyways. Jacob did the switch. I always enjoy talking to him on the phone because he gives me a lot of information about my system, without any bullsh*t. As always, he did a great job with the thermostat, my tenants are happy, and therefore I am happy. Bottomline, Magnolia is a solid company with a solid reputation and they provide great service. It is obvious that they care about their customers and want to make them happy. Will happily keep doing business with them!

Magnolia came out and gave us a a good price it was not the cheepest but they knew what they where talking about . We set up a date and they where on time . The work was done right . The entire crew was great from the first day they let us know what was going on and when they where going in and out of the house . They always kept everything clean and neat and put anything they move back . The crew are people person , not stuck up. always seem to enjoy what they where doing . At the end they maid sure we knew how to work the unit . It's been a 7 mo. now and they did the job rigth all the rooms where heated just right this winter the same temp. in the intire home the same with the A/C we just had a few 100 plus days and it works great cool the entire home just right . Jacob, my technician, was excellent. He called before arriving to confirm the appointment, and showed up exactly at the scheduled time. During the service, he answered all of my questions regarding the AC unit and ways to maximize energy efficiency. He was very knowledgeable, and described each item that needed to be checked and why. The service was friendly and professional, and I have absolutely no complaints. I will definitely use them for future service/maintenance calls.

The technician, Chris, was very friendly and courteous. He explained what he was doing well as well as informing me about the yearly maintenance program. I felt safe and very comfortable with him in my home.

Good, honest evaluation of my HVAC system & told me the work I would need done in a year or two would likely be covered by my homeowners warranty.

After seeing a high satisfaction rate here on Angie's, I called and got a visit the next day. Our technician, Chris, arrived early and got to work. Within a few minutes he found the problem, a blow capacitor. Since he didn't have the single replacement, he put two together to make one, and had to utilize a special bracket to stay in place. Once the work was complete and I had A/C again, Chris checked the external systems and found we had a healthy unit. A survey was sent to my email address and I was honest in my evaluation, on a couple of items I didn't like about the service. The next morning I was contacted by Eric who had already looked into my complaints and offered a partial refund for the issues with explanations. He and I worked everything out and settled on a fair settlement. Needless to say, Eric and team addressed every concern I had. Having been involved in Field Service and Customer Service for over 25 years, Eric, Chris, and the entire Magnolia team did their best to satisfy a new customer. I will gladly recommend Magnolia to anyone who asks and will be using them again when the time comes.

This service was for a rental property that I own. The technician, Brian, contacted me approximately 15 minutes prior to arriving at the property. By the time I arrived he was already out front waiting, very punctual. As soon as I pulled up Brian introduced himself. He presented himself very professionally, in both attire and demeanor. Brian immediately started looking over the blower motor. He commented that it was an old unit, but that he'd seen some before. Brian opened the unit, checked all the connections, cleaned the filter, tested the thermostat actuators and did a very thorough job. The entire time he was working on it he explained in detail what he was doing, why he was doing it, and offered advice on keeping the unit in good shape. Once he finished with the heating unit he started a diagnostic on the A/C unit. In the exact same fashion Brian opened it up, explained to me what he was looking for, what he saw. The unit was filthy! It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 10 years! Brian got to work cleaning it, checking the power feeds, and again advising me on concerns and things I should do to help keep the unit running okay. In the end, I felt that both units had received the attention they needed and I had a much greater understanding of the little things I could do to improve their operation. Brian has serviced a different property for me in the past and both times he was completely professional, very personable, and did an excellent job. I'm sold on using Magnolia Heating and Cooling for all my future service needs. Great work Brian! Thank you.

Chris arrived on time and went right to work. He was very professional.

Very professional service from the beginning when I spoke with the dispatch office to the end when the repair technician informed me of the actual service that was performed. This service was for a rental property. After talking with the office I felt comfortable enough to leave it in their hands. The lady I spoke to was very professional, asked all the right questions (ones I didn't even think about) and offered information that helped me understand exactly what to expect. I scheduled the initial appointment time and they took from there, contacting the tenant directly. Brian, the repair technician, was scheduled to show at 12:00 noon. I received a call from him at 11:50 letting me know he was almost at the property and that he would call me back as soon as he identified what the problem was and to verify that he could perform the service based on the cost estimate. It was only a short time after that Brian called letting me know it was only a minor repair - great news! Brian took the time to explain in detail what the problem ended up being and was very responsive to my questions. He also advised me of additional improvements that could be made, which was greatly appreciated. Overall my experience was very good, I will definitely recommend the company to others.
