Took 2 visits to complete job as parts were not available until the next day. Kind of expensive but worth it in the end, by that I mean myself not having to crawl up into the hot attic and DIY on a summer day.

Their employees were well dressed, thoughtful, and cleaned up after themselves. They did a fantastic job! They went above and beyond. They completed the job in 2 days. The air conditioning unit and tankless hot water heater work unbelievably great! We haven’t tried the heater yet because it hasn’t been cold enough.

Chris came out right on time. He introduced himself, we talked a few moments before I told him what needed to be done. He was very courteous and kept the work area clean. I was concerned about previous work that I had done by another electrician. We started seeing the above problems shortly after the work the previous electrician had done. So Chris had a look at it to make sure everything was okay. I would definitely use Magnolia Heating and cooling again.

After purchasing the $49 Angie's Deal, we were contacted right away about scheduling. We asked for a weekday morning, and scheduled for a Tuesday with a window of between 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. The service technician arrived at about 8:30 a.m. which impressed us considering morning traffic. The technician, Chris, arrived in a company truck/van and wore a company uniform. Chris is very personable yet professional. I was immediately comfortable with him. While performing the inspection, Chris was great about explaining what he was doing and answering my questions. He is young but quite knowledgeable. It's also clear he enjoys his job; a sign of a good company! He is excellent with pets - we are training two rescue dogs, and Chris was very good about them being present during the inspection. Chris cleaned up when he was finished with the work. Our 40-year-old A/C unit appears to be in quite good operating condition. Even so, we want to replace it with a more efficient model, perhaps with a filter for allergans. Chris answered all my questions about ducts, filters, A/C and furnace units, and energy efficient models. I asked about getting an estimate for additional work, but needed to touch base with my spouse first. Later that morning, we received a follow-up call from Magnolia's office to set up an appointment for the estimate. The office gal, Melissa, is friendly and courteous. The company offers maintenance plans, as well as seasonal specials and financing for large jobs.

The technician arrived on time and evaluated the air conditioning unit. The unit hadn't been serviced in over 10 years. He cleaned the unit and recommended parts that needed replacement. We replaced one necessary part and opted to wait on the second fix which was needed more for a convenience. There was no pressure which I appreciated.

Excellently. Technician was thorough, identifying the fundamental issue correctly. Repair required ordering specific replacement parts (new motor and a mounting bracket to accommodate motor design changes. The new parts required a return visit for installation a week after the first visit. Upon installation, the technician determined that he could utilize the original bracket and consequently did not require the very pricey new bracket ($300). His efforts there were honest and sincerely appreciated; it dropped the cost to me by a third. Really a great experience from every perspective.

Service was ok - wanted to do extra service which I declined

The first time we had them out was right after we purchased our home to replace some major components that were broken on one of our units. The other two visits were for scheduled maintenance. We have been very pleased with the service we have received from Magnolia Heating and Air. Brian has provided our service each time we have had them out and he is an absolute joy. He is very kind and takes the time to explain everything that he is doing and advises on what may need attention. He is on time and works quickly and professionally. I am so glad that he comes each time we need any work done. He is very good at what he does. I have found the pricing to be very fair and their service response very timely. I am very glad that we found them and am looking forward to utilizing them for the foreseeable future.

The technician was professional, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. No hard up sell tactics; only straightforward recommendations detailing advantages. Completed the task quickly. Room for improvement: he did not what discounts could or should apply and I had to ask him. He did verify with home office; after I asked him to ensure he contacted them. Consumer should not have to ask and this information should be volunteered readily.

Called Magnolia due to my A/C having problems. Brian showed up promptly and on time. He was able to quickly identify the problem and had me back up in running. Very professional and informative. I would recommend Magnolia to my friends and family.

Excellent service by Brian, the technician, who was friendly and knowledgeable. . Melissa, the scheduler, called us when an opening came up that got the technician to our house a couple of hours earlier than the original window. We called at about 10:30 am and by 3 pm our house was cool again and the maintenance done to keep our system going. .

Called them & said that I wanted to move some duct work. Told 3 different people that. Was to be done with some type of discount @ $50. When tech. ( Brian ) came out, checked out air unit & duct work & was told cost would run about $375. Gave him $50. & told him no way could I afforded that amount. Only thing he did was check out unit, no up keep or maintiance was done. After thinking about it days later called them & asked for my money back. Had to call them numerious time but did received a refund 30+ days later.

My air conditioning and heating unit is twenty-six years old----I explained to the person doing the inspection that we had a leak in the pan which caused water to leak into the adjacent guest room and hallway. To avoid another episode like that I wanted the inspection. The person from Magnolia suggested a fail safe method to eliminate that worry. He had other recommendations which I turned down because I am going to replace the whole system soon.

They gave me 10% off, were very quick, pleasant and did a great job.

I bought the big deal for inspection and cleaning of my ac units. The tech did a wonderful job. Not only did he inspect and clean the ac units, he also went into the attic to inspect my furnaces. He came out on a Saturday, which they say was rare, he was very pleasant and informed me of several things to look out for dealing with the ac unit, filters, and the furnace.

He was a couple of hours late but he called and let me know and was very apologetic. He inspected and cleaned the system and found the leak in the garage and sealed it up with metal HVAC tape. He did a good job and was very polite.

I was expecting them to do some tune-up work since it was listed in the deal title. All they did was an inspection and gave me notes on what I could do. They also showed up late so I wasn't able to be there except for maybe 5 minutes, just my babysitter was there. The technician left after 15 minutes of me leaving. I was contacted by the company after this review was published. they genuinely wanted to make my experience better and to make me feel as if I got my moneys worth. They scheduled another inspection/tune-up. This time they showed up on time. The technician Chris was professional and polite and very thorough. He gave me valuable suggestions on keeping my unit in good working order and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. This was the experience I was hoping to have initially. I am really pleased with the fact that they cared to make their customer happy and am now satisfied with the work done. Thank you.

Tech was very knowledgeable and clear in explanation.

The technician was prompt and professional. He explained everything as he went. There were parts that needed to be replaced that were broken, as well as worn parts that "should" be replaced to avoid the unit going out down the line. We were given the choice of replacing those! So even though our bill was more than that of our "Deal", we were happy with the service.

They advertised a service that I purchased and did not perform. It indicated in the ad that they service my area. Sounds like they want to hand pick where in Orange County they want to go.

They are very honest. They take their time to explain things to me. They are not in a hurry. The owner is a very nice person as well.
