Description of Work: Initial contact was the purchase of a Furnace Tune-up and Inspection through Angie's List. Purchase was made online late 12/30/12. Magnolia Heating Office called me 01/02/13 to schedule service appointment which we scheduled for 01/07/13. Day of appointment, I received telephone confirmation of pending appt @ 10am. At 9:45, Service Tech called to inform that he had been delayed about 20 minutes but he was on his way. Christopher arrived --very well groomed and professional in manner. He introduced himself and we reviewed the service order along with my unit manuals and installation information. Christopher accessed the heating unit in the attic and proceeded to perform the 21 point inspection and service. Upon completion, Christopher reviewed the results he found with recommendations. After careful consideration, I decided to have him seal the system around the furnace and the return air duct system which was sucking in the dusty air from the attic area. I delayed the other two recommendations until I return to full time employment. The attitude I appreciated the most was the courtesy and professional manner in which my inquires were answered and the lack of "strong armed pressure that single women are often subjected to. I will certainly recommend Christopher and his company, Magnolia Heating and Cooling to my friends and neighbors. P.S. I can't believe how much LESS dust is circulating -- especially in my bedroom directly under the vents! I wish that I had known about this solution before. None of us could ever understand where all the dust came from after all the vinyl windows and a whole new roof was installed. Thank you Christopher, for diagnosing and fixing this problem!

Description of Work: They did not serve my service area ,and it was listed on your website. Now,Angie has not credited my credit card and I need to go through considerable time to debit my account. Angie needs to be more cliet friendly. Do I need to contact Consumer Finance in Washington to receive a debit back to my credit card. You could very easily block the areas that he vendor does not serve. I feel I am being penalized by the time it takes to receive a debit.

Description of Work: OK, let's be honest....in these times it is often difficult and "scary" to secure Professional services at a fair price with a quality and safe installation. I'm a DIY'er but I really don't like the Electrical work, especially working within the Main Panel. To the rescue, Angie's List and their recommendation (AND Super Deal of the Week), "Magnolia Heating & Cooling"! From the initial appointment scheduling with Felicia ( front office), the site survey with Adam, and the installation of a 240 V - 50 Amp outdoor rated receptacle on my house exterior by the service technician Cris W I was extremely Pleased. Felicia was excellent with scheduling updates/reminders. Adam and Chris were on time, exactly! Provided Company identification on arrival. Work was completed as scheduled. Work was satisfactorily installed in a neat and professional manner. Work area left neat and clean. Final installation was tested and functioned as request. Best of all, Chis was great informing me of his progress. And, a pretty good conversationalist as well. Very personable and was not bothered by my questions and chatter. In conclusion, I am a very happy consumer.In fact, I felt comfortable enough to subscribe to Magnolia's Heating & Cooling annual Maintenance plan which Chris explained and outlined for me. Once again, a great deal! It's nice to have a reliable service organization who you feel comfortable with "By the Ready". Thanks Angie's List and thank you Magnolia Heating and Cooling!

Description of Work: ` Our air conditioner stopped working during one of the hottest periods of the year. I have health problems that are made worse by heat. This company was very responsive to my needs and came to my home as soon as possible. They fixed my air conditioner in a short amount of time and it has worked fine since then. I feel their charges were fair.

Description of Work: Installed Earthquake initiated gas shut off valve. Completed installation in about 30 minutes and checked the operation.

Description of Work: I had a tune up on my heating services but I do not know if I receive everything on the tune up, I might use them again

Description of Work: Two A/C units were not operating. Units had not been serviced in years. Technician was on time, identified the problem, provided an estimate, and got the units operating quickly. Since I had not had the heating units serviced in years, I asked the technician to look them over, too. An electrical part (same one as on the two a/c units) had gone out on one of the heater units, so I had him replace that part on both units. Technician also found a minor gas leak caused by stripping pipe threads during the initial unit installation. (I was looking over his shoulder during this activity.) He did not have a pipe to replace it, so he went around the corner to the hardware store to get what was needed. Technician spent the extra time until I was satisfied. Technician was very friendly, professional, and polite. We discussed what discount should be applied and applied it. All units are now in good operating condition.
