I was called immediately after requesting contact and given an estimate the same day. Scheduling was at our convenience. Larry did an excellent job on a very old floor. Spots that had damage were restored beautifully.

Larry Shinall of Shinall's Hardwood Floors responded promptly, listened to our concerns about extensive hardwood floor buckeling/damage due to a long standing kitchen plumbing issue. Fortunately we had extra wood planks in our garage - however, we were unsure if the wood we had would be sufficient to replace damaged planks. Larry Shinall immediately offered to come to our home to review damage and the wood planks we intended to use for the repair in order to provide a free estimate. Larry made my husband and I feel very comfortable, he clearly explained the damage conditions that impacted repair level of effort and final cost of repair. It was evident Larry is an expert at hardwood floor repair. We felt good choosing Larry to repair our floor damage. Within a week of making first contact with Shinall's our kitchen hardwood floors looked good as new and Shinall's also repaired a secondary area in our living room damaged from a leaking plant vase. Best of all final cost came in less than the original quote since it turned out our dishwasher did not require remove/reinstall. Shinall's came prepared with professional grade tools/machines, prepped areas he would be working in to avoid making a mess and vacuumed/cleaned work area at end of each work day.

Larry did a perfect job replacing a section of our kitchen hardwood flooring that had buckled after a contractor/plumber diagnosed that the buckling was due to leaks from improper installation of the plumbing for the sink, disposal and dishwasher from previous plumbers and appliance installers from years ago and the leaking had been going on slowly and didn't start manifesting in buckling until recently which is why we contacted Larry for repair. Larry came out and diagnosed there was probably a leak and referred us to a wonderful plumber/contractor who diagnosed the leaks and repaired them. After the plumbing was repaired, Larry was able to replace the hardwood and sub flooring that was raised and buckled on top and molded underneath. Larry did an excellent job replacing the hardwood flooring matching the select white oak perfectly. He then went on to sand and re-varnish all our hardwood flooring in our entire 4100 square foot 2 story house including the stairs. He did an excellent and perfect job. All the flooring looks like it's brand-new. Larry is not only a hard-worker, but he is a craftsman and I would give his craftsmanship an A+++. Larry was always very professional, friendly and personable. He always arrived on time and left our house in good clean working order after each days work. Larry was very dedicated to doing a high quality job. He didn't just finish the job, but he worked extra hard to do a perfect job. He always went the extra mile to do the highest quality job. The cost of the huge project was fair and there were no hidden costs. I was more than pleased with the excellent job Larry did and would highly recommend Shinall's Quality Hardwood Floors to everyone.

The job was replacing severely dog damaged pieces and then sanding and refinishing the floor in a bedroom. The floor came out looking like new and blended with the existing hallway and other rooms.

They were very prompt. and personable had plenty of help. should have used a finer sand paper for final sanding can see some scratches from the inittal sanding in some places can see it in a few spots.They left little to no dust from the sanding.So easy clean up My floor looks beautiful very happy with my new refinished floors.
