So far it seems to be okay. We have had issues in the past, particularly when we have let others use our home. It seems that the low flow toilets are not as great as they claim and the handle needs to be held down until it actually finishes the flush, otherwise the paper tends to stay in the pipes and then causes a backup.

I called SOS and spoke to Chris regarding the work that we would like to have done. He was very friendly, professional and informative regarding my questions. He put me in contact with Dan who would do the actual work requested. Dan called me right away and came the next day to access the work and do the needed repairs. I can’t say enough about Dan, he was friendly, courteous and very professional. He did the work so fast and performed excellent quality work using the highest quality parts. I would definitely recommend SOS Plumbing.

Great. This is the 2nd time I've used SOS and as with the 1st, the experience was great. The threads on the plastic pipe going to the pop up lever on the bathroom sink were stripped. I called and Dan was out in 45 minutes. He suggested replacing the cheap plastic pipe with a brass one that he said is much better and I agreed. As long as he was here, I asked about our other bathroom sink, which had just been replaced in a remodel. The stopper did not fit right. He said it looked defective. I asked if replacing the plastic pipe with a quality brass one would fix it and he said yes. I told him to do so and in a total of one hour from when he arrived, both sinks were fixed and he was on his way. (I don't know why anyone would consider any contractor other than an 'A' rated one on Angie's.)

Went really well. Would definitely hire again!

It didn't. Still waiting to hear back from them after a couple of calles and 2 messages on Angies List.

Well, didn't realize they're on Angie's list and it wasn't offered. Otherwise it went ok; city sanitation does inspection and views thumb drive of project, so permitting was an added assurance that job was done correctly.

No surprises, whish is always good.

"" SENIORS AND EVERYONE ELSE BEWARE "" My 86 year old mom called SOS plumbing for a simple brake in a hot water line which was shut off for repair under her Mobile Home which was repaired by Maxwell K. and Dan M. only to get a ""Bill"" not an estimate, for $4,320.00 with only 40 feet of PVC and a handful of fittings, after calling Chris Embury to get a itemized ( correct bill of parts, labor and taxes ) bill for $270.00 an hour for 16 hours of work ( first bill was for 6.5 hours) . I sent the paperwork and "estimates" to Mr. Embury from two other plumbers that stating Time, parts and going under the mobile Home would cost $800.00 to $1,500.00 Max. No reply from Mr.Embury ? doesn't even want to check his employees work ? Court is next to follow ! "" what you cant see after repair is there word " "" Owner should be jailed for Elderly Abuse ""

What a great experience! My garbage disposal started leaking Friday night, so first thing Saturday morning, I called Chris at SOS. Within a half hour, Dan called me back and was at the house an hour later. Dan was very pleasant and efficient. He replaced the garbage disposal at the price he quoted over the phone and then tightened up some fittings on a leaking hose bib without charging me more. I highly recommend SOS!

Responded quickly, did the job quickly and charged a fair price.

Toilets still working fine. Ken was pleasant and professional. Had the needed parts and finished the job quickly and cleanly.

This was our third time using SOS Plumbing. Dan the technician came was great. Did a great job. We were over charged for the work performed. I wasn't notified until after I received the bill. I brought it to Chris (the Owner) attention who became very defensive. I sent the payment for what we were originally quoted. Received two nasty and unprofessional texts from the Owner after he received our check on how we shorted the check. We paid our original quoted. I have no problem with paying the difference but the difference was never discuss or approved by me prior to the work being done. I was under the impression the rate was the same since we just had SOS two months prior for similar work. We had the parts it only took less then half hour to complete the job. It's sad because it leaves a bad taste in your mouth for the company, even though Dan was great...

Bad leak in a Sunday night amd had to shut off water. Super responsive. Monday morning I called 1/2 hr before they opened and call was answered. Got a call back right away. That particular plumber was booked solid but after I explained problem he said he would see what he could do. Another plumber, Dan, called a few mins later. Said he could be there by noon maybe sooner. He was there at 10:30. Before noon my water service was restored. Timely, professional, fair price. They made sure I got helped asap. Could not be happier.

It took about five minutes for the plumber to figure out the source of the leak. He pulled out drywall -- some of which was ruined from the inside -- and fixed the leak. Pretty straightforward.

Dan and associate arrived on schedule. Did the replacement. Took old unit with them. Price was comparable to other bids.

I opted for a more expensive kitchen faucet since I wanted to upgrade it to one that had the sprayer built-in. That choice elevated the overall cost of the project by about $100. The response was very timely, the work performed was fast, the work area was left neat. The only thing not mentioned at the time the service call was placed is that they don't take credit cards! Yikes! He was thinking about adding this, so maybe he can take credit cards by now -- but if you don't have an extra $300 laying around in your checking account, you may want verify the payment options beforehand.

We hired this plumber to install two new kitchen faucets for us, one in the main kitchen sink and the other in the kitchen island. The plumber actually arrived early for the appointment but communication was good and I knew when he would be arriving. The old faucets had leaked down their stems over the years and their removal was difficult. As I heard the plumber struggling to remove them, I realized that I had made the right decision to hire a plumber. He had all the tools on hand that he needed. The installation of the new faucets was perfect. He was very professional.

I have used SOS Plumbing on several occasions. I am new to the Desert Area and took a chance with SOS! They are very prompt and thorough! I will contact them for all my plumbing issues. They have given me options and estimates for all the work they have done. Very knowledgeable and honest! I feel confident working with them.

THE BEST EVER. Ken, the plumber at SOS, saved me tons of stress, work and money. He fixed the problem, EXPLAINED it to me and recommended what to do next. By simply recommendations as to how to deal with the situation and the needs of the house. As a "I can fix anything" type of man, I'm actually at the mercy of all plumbers, electricians etc. SOS came into what I thought was a problematic job and Ken analyzed the problem, told me "IT WASN'T THAT BAD" and recommended a good fix that he completed right then and there. He was incredibly nice, polite, helpful, (pointed out a couple of things that we should do, with NO up-sell or pressure whatsoever) and was very thorough and meticulous in his work. What I had envisioned as being a real ordeal was done swiftly and professionally. I would absolutely use SOS again.

Dan arrived on time Friday afternoon and took care of the leaking toilet in quick order. I then told him about the squealing whenever the water ran inside and out of the house. He checked the pressure and found that the regulator needed replacing which he also took care of very quickly. Before he left he asked me to call if the squealing noise came back. Everything was fine until Saturday afternoon when it came back. I called to let them know and Chris said to shut the water off to the guest bath and they would send Dan out on Monday afternoon. Dan came at the time expected and apologised for not checking the pump inside the toilet tank. He replaced it in again a very short time and didnt charge me! I was very impressed with the responsiveness, professionalism and speedy work. Thank you so much for taking care of my plumbing issues!!

I'm so impressed with this company. We had just joined Angie's List to find a plumber, and this company came up in the search with really high marks. We called them to come check our fireplace gas valve and were so impressed with his honesty we had him come back the next day to replace our water heater. Did a great job and the price was good. They're our "Go To" plumbers from now on.

We called the answering service in the early afternoon. Ken was at our door by 2:00, just when he said he would be. He was efficient. He installed a new stop c*** and explained why the one he installed is better than the old one. He also suggested a way we could prevent problems in the future. While he was here he checked the other toilets, which were fine. He was very pleasant. When he finished, he got the invoice quickly, we paid him, and he was off. I'll definitely use him again.
