Description of Work: Replaced all rollers on sliding bedroom closet doors with lifetime rollers. Also replaced floor track as well. Very professional and did a perfect job. My only issue in not giving all A's is that it was expensive.

Description of Work: The residence is a mid-century modern with 14 oversize glass sliding doors in aluminum frames. They had not been serviced since the house was built ca. 1970. The doors had become difficult to operate, did not lock easily, and allowed the entrance of dust and air. The owner had the skill, experience and knowledge to remedy all these problems with dispatch. The door all work perfectly now. He suggested enhancements--which we approved for some of the doors getting the most wear-- which would extend the life of the frames. They all work well, the modified ones work even better. We had glass windows too, but we were told that there were no dependable replacement rollers for these. Without charge he modified them for easier operation. We were impressed by his efficiency, courtesy, honesty. I had interviewed other contractors. One of them admitted that he did not have a lot of experience at fixing aluminum sliding doors of that size. Another put it succinctly: there are lots of yahoos out there who will do the job for you, but will not do it right and probably do damage. If you find a guy who knows what he's doing, hire him.
