Arbor Age Tree did what I wanted. Christopher Templeton and his team were great.

Extremely prompt and professional. Chris takes great care and pride in his work.

Earlier then expected which was fine a team of four showed up and all were professional and polite. The did a great job and left hardly a leaf or twig behind. They even cut back a tree I forgot to include in the quote. Great crew.

Crew showed up on time at 7:30am, immediately began to set-up and start working - were mindful of the surrounding areas including neighbors property when working, clean was a snap, everyone was professional. Christopher Templeton was easy to work with, explained in detail what need to be done, quote was fair and kept in contact as job date approached.

I did not hire Arbor Age for the job. Although they were very professional coming to review the job and provide a written estimate, they quoted me $5,000. I was able to get it done adequately by somene else for $800.

I got them through Angie's List. His name is Christopher Templeton. I really trusted him. He knows his business; he knows trees. He came out and did the estimate. He actually didn’t do the work; he sent a team to do the work. They spent a day here and did the job what he said they would do. They were professional, and they did a good job. With regard to price, I didn’t really shop him out; I was impressed with his knowledge so much that he sold me. I am going to do more business with him.

The owner, Christopher Templeton, was prompt in returning my call and we met two days later. He showed up with copies of his license and insurance. I showed him what we wanted done and he seemed very knowledgeable with his suggestions. His crew arrived at the scheduled time, and did a very thorough and professional job. The crew was courteous and efficient. When they left, the yard was cleaned up and looked very nice. We plan on having them return whenever trimming needs to be done and would highly recommend them.

The owner of Arbor Tree Chris Templeton came to my house to give an estimate. He was friendly, professional and gave me a written estimate for the work. His crew worked 2 half-days on the project and did a great job. They were on time, friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. They preformed all of the work I wanted and cleaned up after themselves. I would use their services again, and would recommend them to others.

I contacted several tree service companies, including Arbor Age. I made an appointment to have Chris meet with my brother in person to go over the work. He met with my brother for over an hour, notating what he could do and provided suggestions. He was very thorough, wrote everything down in an estimate (that did not change) to perform the work. I received 10% off as a first-time customer. After the estimate, I received a hand-written card of thanks for the opportunity to bid the job. This was a sincere touch and I appreciated it very much. Arbor Age was not the cheapest estimate, but I went with them due to their thoroughness and responsiveness. Two days before the job (12/19), Chris dropped off cones and signs for the street so my brother could save him a spot in front of the house. They trimmed everything exactly as I asked and cleaned all the trimmings up. It looked like a new yard! I am very happy with the work. I would definitely use Arbor Age again and would recommend them to others.

Chris went out of his way to phone and email the other parties involved in this process to coordinate the best dates and ensure driveways were clear at both properties for hauling away the trimmings. The work began promptly as scheduled. The attitude was professional, efficient, and respectful of the tree and the two properties. Clean up was immaculate. The tree looks incredible. The tenants are pleased, the owners of the property in the back are delighted, and I am so thankful to Chris for doing such a beautiful job and making the whole process go smoothly. My husband and I will be using Arbor Age Tree Service at our place and I recommend Chris to anyone needing any type of tree service or arborist expertise.

I had an initially mixed experience caused by some misunderstandings and mistakes about the work to be performed. However, the owner, Christopher Templeton went out of his way to ensure my job was completed to my satisfaction. Mistakes happen. One mark of a quality business is when the management works actively to correct things. Arbor Age is such a business and I can recommend them.

The job went very well. Christopher came with his team of four more guys and they had the entire job finished very quickly. I was impressed with the clean up. Good job!

The bottom line is that I am 100% completely satisfied with Christopher Templeton and Arbor Age. Not only was all the work performed as promised, but when I (mistakenly) thought the tree trimming crew had caused some damage to my irrigation, Mr. Templeton came out immediately to rectify the situation. As it turned out, my irrigation was not damaged, and it was refreshing to find a business owner who was prepared to make things right instead of making excuses. I will not hesitate to use and refer Arbor Age to anyone needing arborist services.

I called Arbor Age based on the reviews on Angie's List. I spoke to Christopher Templeton (owner) and arranged for him to come out to do an estimate the next day. Christopher arrived as scheduled and we walked the yard going over each tree and what was needed. I had not had the trees trimmed for 3+ years so they were all overgrown monsters. Unlike another company I had out for an estimate who recommended topping and size reduction for all the trees, Christopher was all about what was best for each tree, its location, and the appearance of the tree and the landscaping overall. He was very open to my questions and concerns and also pointed out some issues (and the associated solutions) I hadn't been aware of. Christopher worked up an estimate that was nearly identical to the estimate from the "just top them" first company (whose final estimate suddenly came down $200 when the owner heard I was getting a second estimate...hmmmm....). He also included a 10%/$75 Angie's List discount. We agreed on a service date about 1.5 weeks out (his first available slot). On the day of service, Christopher and his crew of 4, arrived as scheduled and got right to work. We all walked the yard together, reviewing the plan for each tree, including some add-on requests I had. After that, everyone jumped into action - working steadily for the next 6-7 hours. The crew were just great - pleasant, professional, helpful and just fun to have at the house. (Dave even rescued a butterfly caught and struggling in a spider's web way up between the top of one tree and the roof line!). I was really impressed with Christopher's organization for who was assigned to what job, his training and teaching of a crew member doing a first no-spikes, ropes-only climb of very tall palms, and the attention to safety that is clearly an integral part of his approach (hard hats, safety glasses, and safety harnesses for everyone). From the way everyone interacted and worked with each other, it's obvious that everyone enjoys working together and that, together, they make for a really well-oiled team. As for the results - absolutely unbelievable! The trees look just amazing - cleaned up, opened up, shaped, and perfectly sized for the yard. I can't believe how much more light and sun now come into the yard. I must say that, when I saw how much was coming off each tree, I worried that everything would have a chopped and stumpy look. But, that is absolutely not the case. Am not sure how the guys managed it, but each tree looks totally natural and as if this is the way it should look - not at all like it had just undergone massive pruning. I am so glad I went with Christopher and Arbor Age Tree Service vs. those other guys. As for clean-up, that was also amazing. I had a pile of branches and trimmings in my driveway that, if assembled, could have created 3-4 new trees. But you'd never know all that debris even existed after Christopher and the guys were done - everything chipped, swept up, cleared away. Except for my amazing looking trees, you'd never have known that they were here. I will absolutely be calling Arbor Age Tree Service when it's time to trim again.....and I definitely won't be waiting 3 years this time. Thanks, Christopher and crew - you guys rock!

He was the first person that I called off of the list. I really liked that he showed up on time with his license information and insurance in hand. He was very nice and easy to work with. His crew work safely and quickly when cutting the limbs up.

When they arrived, they went over each of the projects with me to make sure everything was going to be pruned and/or removed to my wishes. They assigned different crew members to different specific tasks and everyone worked according to the plan. I had an opportunity to review progress as things went along and everything was done to my exact wishes. At the completion of the jobs, all the pruned branches were removed, the crew blew away and cleaned up all the residue of the cutting and my backyard was even cleaner than before they arrived that morning. The entire job took about 4 hours.

Christopher provided a detailed estimate after walking the property with me. He took a lot of time to confirm all the details of what we wanted done and provided detailed advice and explanations. For the actual job a crew of 5 arrived on time. Christopher again took a quite a bit of time on site for planning and detailed instructions to the crew. The trimmed trees looked very good after they were done. They took great care not to damage any vegetation around the trees they were working on. The large pine tree they removed was close to the house and they carefully lowered cut off pieces without touching the house. The final clean-up was meticulous.The price seemed fair for the size job, but I can't really comment because I did not comparison shop.Overall this crew are real professionals. Over the years we have used two other tree services with varying crews. Sometimes we got a hatchet job with a mess of small debris left behind, branches broken off surrounding shrubs and motor oil spots from the chain saws. Compared to the other two tree services this crew was superior in every way. We will use them again.
