USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! During the initial visit the repairman stated that the motherboard needed to be replaced and quoted me over $400.00 for the part. I contacted the manufacture and they sold me the part for $85.00, including shipping. The same repairman came out to install the motherboard. He told me the unit was now working correctly and that it would take 12-24 hours to cool to the correct temp. Based upon his assurance that the unit was repaired, we paid his labor fee of $240.00. When the unit was still at the same temperature after 48 hours we contacted company and they agreed to send the same repairman back out. After looking at the unit again, the repairman stated that the compressor and condenser now needed to be replaced and that the refrigerant would have to be replace. I spoke with the manufacturer and they agreed to replace the unit for less than the cost of the repairs so we declined additional work and requested a refund of the previously paid labor fee since they did not fix the unit. I was told "senior management' would not approve the refund, nor would they discuss the matter with me. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company.

Repairman did not kmow what he was doing. Told me I needed a locking mechanism and a new door and I was better off getting a new one. I was getting it ready to set it out on the street and I pulled out the top rack anf there was a bowl jammed in the back of the rack keeping the door from closing. I should have caught it before I called them bit a pro certainly should have caught. When I removed the bowl the door closed and latched and it has been working perfectly ever since. I paid him the $85.00 service charge and I got no service. I contacted the company and they never responded. I would never call this company again for anything

Technician came within timeframe and found problem was a bad water valve where the water pressure was fluctuating and replaced the valve. What I didn’t like due to Covid 19 is he just helped himself and touched my paper towels instead of letting me get them. He also opened my freezer drawer and touched my ice bin after I told him my ice maker was working. I’d use a different person next time.
Response from Appliance Rescue
"Hi, Thanks for the review. However, I don’t think you appreciate the efforts made by our techs risking their live’s to be there trying to accommodate your requests during a crisis. There is a reason why most of the companies are shut down. You should be grateful that our tech was experienced enough to repair your unit the same day that other companies and your husband couldn’t fix. Fyi, our techs are taking this crisis seriously and we use disposable gloves and face masks. There is a reason to why the technician checked the ice bin to make sure the ice cubes formed by the ice maker was a fully formed ice because of the water fluctuations you were having. Also, the technician did ask you to use your sink and take paper towels to block an air leak caused by someone that pulled your filter housing causing air leak. There was no price gouging and the technician was upfront throughout the service call. I thank you for your feedback but our technician deserves a “A” rating for going beyond their call of duty. Dear Angieslist Members: We are taking precautions to protect our service techs and our clients please don’t hesitate to notify us ahead of time should you have any requests we need to accommodate at your premise."

Mark from Ohio was great! I would give them a million starts. He came out and did the work great and was on time.came out within 20 minutes of speaking to someone. He listened to me, Cleaned up after himself and the leaking line, he were vary honest and diligent. He treated me and the project like his was his own mom. I was very happy with the price giving me a senior discount and service completed.
